- "The lodge had everything we needed for our stay and all information was provided without needing to ask. The instructions for how to use the induction hob were missing (someone mentioned this in a previous review), which are important if you’ve never used one before so I had to spend a good 30 minutes on the internet trying to fathom it out! And maybe the instruction manual needs an overhaul as some of the equipment in the lodge has been updated so not everything in the manual is relevant. We enjoyed our time at Wolf Lodge, it was comfortable and clean - I would stay there again for sure!"

Baddengorm Lodge is a magnificent lodge set within in a clearing in beautiful woodland in the Cairngorms National Park. Sleeps 8 in 5 bedrooms.

Baddengorm Lodge has a large living room with free-standing circular wood burner. The entire open-plan living/kitchen/dining space is flooded with natural light from the large windows. The master bedroom is on the ground floor and has a fabulous en-suite bathroom with shower and free-standing bath. Up to the first floor are more bedrooms all with incredible woodland views. Baddengorm Lodge is a truly unique property and although there is two steps to the entrance at the front of the property, there is a wheelchair friendly side door with ramp. Externally there is a large games room with snooker table, table tennis and table football. The lawned garden, with patio, garden furniture and firepit is set in 10-acre grounds with woodland.

- "What a setting! Beautiful house with everything you need for a break away. Great space for a large group and the games room is an added bonus! We had some spring sunshine and a dusting of snow which was lovely and added to the tremendous views. We did not want to leave! A few things that could help improve the comfort, is a larger kitchen workspace with more storage - there was very limited worktop space especially when trying to prepare meals for 8 people, and the ovens need updating/improving. Also there were no spare kitchen cupboards for our food. Also, there were very few wardrobes/cupboards or drawers in any of the bedrooms. In fact the Master Bedroom only had a small hanging rail with a few shelves - no wardrobe or drawers at all. Definitely needs more storage in the bedrooms! But the house is amazing set in beautiful tranquil grounds, with the fantastic bar/games room for those that fancy it! The owner also supplied some toiletries and cleaning products - very useful! And despite my few ideas for improving the house, we would recommend it."

There is direct access from the garden to the ancient woodland with plenty of opportunity for wildlife spotting, walking and mountain biking trails.

The apartment has recently been renovated from B&B to self-contained, self-catering accommodation.

Outside, there is a covered, decked area for guest use. We ask that you are mindful that the remainder of the garden (including the trampoline) is for family use. We have 3 small children who play throughout the garden. We aim to be respectful of your privacy so you can enjoy your holiday. If there are ways we can improve please let me know.

The garden has a gate which opens directly onto the ancient woodland, allowing easy access onto the walking and biking trails.

The apartment has a shared outside door with a further door to enter the kitchen/living area.

Built in the 1870’s Feith Mhor (Fay Mor) is a charming and substantial country house taking it's Gaelic name from its surroundings: great stillness.

All bedrooms have en-suite facilities with linen and towels provided. Relax on cosy nights in with an open fire in the living room.

This Victorian manse dates back to the 1870s and its grand entrance hall welcomes guests and sets the tone of what is to come in the rest of the house. The colourful drawing room is kept nice and cosy by its open fire and the formal dining room is a rather grand place to gather for evening meals.

The kitchen has been kitted out with a double oven and six ring stove to make cooking for larger parties easier with a central island that provides useful extra space for whipping up some culinary delights. In the WC are drying racks that are great for wet coats, boots, etc.

There is a handy en suite double bedroom downstairs and up the winding staircase are the four other bedrooms - two double rooms, one family room with a double bed and bunk bed and a twin room, all of which have their own en suite bath or shower room facilities.

It is set amidst delightful gardens and one other cottage that is also rented out to guests, they do have other private gardens to the rear. The grounds for the Lodge are large and enjoy marvelous views to the Monadhliath hills.

- "Location is terrific. Carrbridge is lovely and only a mile or so away. Jess is super-responsive on email, and even before the holiday was very helpful with information about local walks, fishing lakes and things to do in general. The house has a really welcoming 'feel’, and it felt like a home. The space, facilities, setting, garden, trampoline, climbing frame, and peace & quiet were (mostly) first rate. The dining table was brilliant for large groups for dining and board games. The more formal sitting room is nice for a bit of peace and quiet. Rooms are lovely and comfortable, and except for Room 5, all the plumbing and showers were really good. Couple of areas of obvious improvement would be to put some stools in the kitchen. The fact that the house doesn’t have a straightforward television setup in the downstairs lounge off the dining area is just plain bad. You have to navigate through iPlayer etc to watch, and it’s just not consistent with the rest of the experience of the house. Not that we watched that much, but still. Wi-Fi was good throughout. An unpleasant surprise was that the lodge is actually three properties on the same plot with shared access to the outside play facilities. The Vrbo details did not make that clear at the time of booking, and still don’t at the time of writing this review. The two smaller cottages to the rear of the lodge can be seen from the aerial photo on the site, however the description should make it explicit that these are separate and may be occupied by different groups while you are staying in the lodge. The fact that the neighbours have their own fenced of gardens didn’t stop them walking their dog round the large garden that ‘belongs’ to the lodge. The middle cottage is being renovated at present so when you book this property ask yourself the question whether you want two set of neighbours in close proximity for the duration of your stay at Feith Mhor."

We are within walking distance of Carrbridge village centre where there are two cafes, Spar shop and Post Office and a pub offering good food. Lots of woodland walks are on our doorstep.

Carriage driving can be arranged. Advice on events and activities in the area. We are 15 mins drive from Aviemore and 30 mins to Inverness. The Lecht and Cairngorm Mountain ski areas are both 45 mins drive away. We live in the beautiful Cairngorm National Park with lots of interesting things to see and do in both summer and winter.

We have our lovely Labrador called Kai. He loves to meet new people, and just loves being spoilt.

Beautiful woodland trails and wildlife to enjoy from the doorstep and just a 20 minute riverside walk into the village centre to the nearest shop, pub and other local amenities.

The Wee Loft is upstairs in the loft of the garage next to our family home.

It's a small but beautifully crafted open plan space with a king size bed, ensuite bathroom with walk in shower, lounge area and galley style kitchen with a 2 pan hob for simple cooking. There's a fold out table for indoor dining and a large private balcony with table and chairs to relax or eat outside.

There's WiFi available, although please don't expect super fast speeds. There's also a TV with standard freeview channels and an Anker bluetooth speaker for playing your own music.

There is a dedicated parking space for guests in the driveway next to a path leading to stairs up to The Wee Loft.

The outdoor space for guests is limited to the large balcony at the top of the stairs and the sheltered area beneath.

We are happy to provide space in our garage for anything that you'd like to store during your stay that you don't need immediate access to.

Strathspey Cottage is a one bedroom apartment situated on the Main Street in Carrbridge opposite the popular Landmark Forest Adventure Park!
One pet is allowed at the property on request with an extra charge!
Carrbridge Hotel and Cairn Hotel are 3 mins walk from the apartment and both serve lovely food!

The bedroom and shower room are on the ground floor with a stairway leading to the first floor with Lounge, kitchen and dining open plan.

Bike and ski friendly accommodation in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park. Birchwood Bothy is a newly built cabin with all the amenities you will need after an adventure in the outdoors. Chill outside on the balcony with a morning coffee or cosy up in the colder months in front of the log burner.
You'll find beautiful forest trails and a river path straight from the door and you are just a 10 minute walk into Carrbridge village where there is a local shop, great pub, gallery and cafe.

The space
A bright and modern one bed cabin, equipped with a self catered kitchen, en-suite bedroom and bright living area. The porch provides plenty of space to hang jackets, and store and dry shoes/boots. The south facing balcony has an outside eating area and the accommodation provides a fully secure bike storage unit (allowing for e-bike charge) and a bike wash. The unit can also be used to safely store skis and boards in the winter months. Parking is private and onsite in front of the property.

You will have full use of the property/outside balcony and small back garden.
We live next door with our 2 boys but you'll see a fence that helps determine your area/property.
We are often away (probably biking somewhere) but feel free to say hello if we are in the garden next door!

Please park in front of the property and use the gate/entrance directly down the slope from the accommodation.

Winters are often cold and snowy - we will make every effort to ensure the drive is passable but we can provide an alternate route/parking if the snow and ice is against us!

Whether its mountains, bike trails, snowsports, lochs, nature, wildlife, history, whisky... you have it all right here.

The Cairgorm Mountains are full of scottish wildlife, fantastic for hiking/running and can be skied during the winter.
Aviemore is just a 10 minute drive by car or is accessible from Carrbridge via bus or train.
Inverness (start of the NC500) is a short 30 minute drive away.

If you like biking we can't recommend the area more. You'll find great mountain bike trails (from natural to custom built/trail centers), endless gravel rides, and stunning road rides straight from the door.

The space
The Mole Catcher's Cottage is steeped in local history.
Originally built in the 1800's as a traditional worker's cottage, it is so named in memory of one of its past residents who was indeed the local mole catcher.

Today the cottage is owned by the Norton family who have lovingly renovated and extended the property to create a spacious open plan living area with two quirky attic bedrooms cleverly blending all the character of a traditional Highland cottage with a contemporary Scandinavian-inspired interior.

This warm and stylish holiday home comprises a boot room, a spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living area, a large downstairs bathroom with walk in shower and upstairs leading to the attic bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other with two singles.

There is a fridge, microwave, electric hob and cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and drying rack along with a TV and internet access.

The Norton family are dedicated snowsport and outdoor enthusiasts and have an extensive knowledge of where to go and what to see and do in the local area.

Dalbeg is a delightful 4-bedroom family home in the Cairngorms National Park. Sitting in a central location in the charming village of Carrbridge, everything is on your doorstep from local attractions such as the Landmark Adventure Park, woodland walks, excellent local shop and pubs. Dalbeg sleeps 8, with a master bedroom ensuite, 1 double and 2 twins plus a family bathroom and wet room. 4 night minimum stay.

The space
Dalbeg is an attractive, tastefully decorated home, which is entirely yours for the duration of your stay. It is accessible for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility with a gentle ramp to the back door to enter the property, a downstairs accessible shower/wet room and a downstairs double bedroom. Upstairs there is a master bedroom ensuite with king size bed and two twin bedrooms and a large family bathroom. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped for cooking and also has a TV. In the cosy living room there are ample comfy sofas, a log burning stove - we'll provide the first basket of logs and kindling - and Sky Glass TV. There is a utility room with washing machine and clothes pulley for you to use. There is also a retractable clothes line in the car port with pegs available. In the front porch you will find a selection of books and games to enjoy. A travel cot and high chair are available. There is no access to the garage but bikes and kayaks, etc can be padlocked in the dog kennels.

Guest access
The entire house and rear garden are for you to enjoy. A gate along the back fence takes you straight into the woodlands where there are lots of lovely walks. Please DO NOT recreate on the open, grassy area to the front of the property as this is not in our ownership. Please note that the garden is not enclosed so children and pets must be supervised at all times.

Other things to note
Despite being a residential neighbourhood, Mannfield Place is still part croft and has been worked by our family for several generations. Nana Mill lives next door and has free ranging chickens and there are often cattle with calves or sheep with lambs in the fields to the front of the house. There are also nesting oyster catchers, ducks, deer, etc so dogs must be extremely well behaved! They must not be off lead at any time outside. Inside the home, they are not allowed on the furniture or upstairs and should not be left "home alone".
We do not provide bedding for the travel cot - we know that little ones can have sensitive skin so we ask that you bring your own.
If you are planning a beach visit you must bring your own beach towels - our towels must not be removed from the property.

**Winter Time**
Please be advised that as you can see from the photographs, Resaurie is located off the main road on its own down a private Estate track that can get very snowy and icy in winter. It is located inside the Cairngorms National Park boundary - check Carrbridge which is 5 minutes away by car for local forecasts.
We recommend a 4WD vehicle if possible to be on the safe side, and make sure to pack appropriate clothing and footwear in case of wintery weather. Thank you.

Springfield House is a traditional granite house located in the quaint village of Carrbridge in the Cairngorms National Park, Scottish Highlands.

The house is suitable for up to six guests so perfect for families and small groups of friends.

It is well equipped for cosy nights in, as a base for Cairngorm adventures or for special celebrations.

It is also ideally located for exploring Speyside's many distilleries, National Cycle Route 7, or a stop off before hitting the North Coast 500.

The space
The house has recently been refurbished to create a stylish and homely space, with lots of personal touches and bespoke elements. There are two double bedrooms upstairs (one with en-suite / walk-in shower) and one twin on the ground floor.

There is a toasty living room with wood-burning stove, smart TV and a selection of books and board games. Additional lounging area in the 'snug', which is located just off the kitchen, where you'll find a piano and vintage amp. Why not fill the house with music as you cook?

The kitchen is well equipped for cooking up a feast with a 5 burner gas range, fan-assisted double oven, dishwasher and microwave. The dining room looks onto the garden and decking area.

The large, private back garden has a beautiful fire pit, made from salvaged sandstone and granite, undercover pagoda and plenty of outdoor seating.

The entire house is heated by a wood-pellet boiler, making all your needs for warmth completely renewable.

Guests can access all areas of the house, including front and back gardens and double driveway, with the exception of the garage.

We have a great relationship with our neighbours next door and we would like to keep it that way! We would appreciate it if guests can keep noise to a minimum in the garden during the evening, though the walls are thick, so noise inside is not an issue.
