There's no outlet in the bathroom except for a razor (two prongs) so I brought my own extension cord to use the blow dryer and hair curler in the mirror. "

Theres also a laundromat by Kukina and Brass Monkey that was convenient but I recommend getting there when they open, it is small and washers filled up quick the day I went. The only issue we had, and for me more of an inconvenience, was I booked on hotels.com and selected pay at hotel. Please select pay online through hotels.com or whoever you book through. The ladies are not set up to accept credit card payments. I had to pull out cash. I called my bank asked for an increase in ATM withdrawals and paid that way. I would rather not done it that way and thought hotels.com shouldn’t offer pay at the hotel option for this one so just make it easy pay online. This place is such a gem!! Definitely book it!"

The apartment is perfectly situated between the city centre and trendy district of Leith. Countless bars, restaurants, cafés, supermarkets etc, right on the doorstep.
The apartment has a home cinema projector setup.
2 shared bathrooms, shared kitchen and spacious shared lounge.

New Windows have been installed since the complaints about noise!! :-)

The space
The room has a double bed, desk, and a wardrobe to keep your things organised. The room gets plenty of natural light, making it a great place to be.

Bedding and towels provided.

Bathrooms:
The apartment has 2 shared bathrooms, 1 with shower, the other with a fully functional bath.
Basic shampoo etc can be found here.

Kitchen:
There is a spacious shared kitchen, with everything you need to cook. Pots, pans, plates, dishwasher, electric hob, oven and all the other facilities you'd expect from a modern kitchen.
I also keep a cupboard stocked with various things for the guests to share. Tea, coffee, cereals and other things can be found here, for free use. This cupboard is found on the far left of the top cupboards in the kitchen,
There is also a cupboard allocated to your room number to keep your own stuff in. Please empty this when you're leaving, feel free to leave stuff for others to use in the shared cupboard.
PLEASE KEEP THE KITCHEN CLEAN FOR OTHERS TO USE!! :-)

Living Room:
There is a Hifi and projector system in the living room. Please feel free to use these and make yourself at home, but keep the noise to a reasonable level for the sakes of other guests and neighbours.

During your stay
Sometimes I'm not available in person, as I work out of town a lot. Sometimes I'm around and will happily come and meet you to help with any problems you may have.
You can always gets me on phone, 'Whats' or through Airbnb, though.

A comfortable single bedroom in a quiet, centrally located shared apartment - only 15mins walk to the castle!

You’ll be staying in the flat with myself and a friend of mine. I will be there to welcome you and show you the room. The flat is quite small but your room is tucked away in a corner behind good solid walls and very private. You are welcome to use all the shared spaces.

The atmosphere in the flat is laid back but we keep it clean. Hit me up for any questions !

Relax & unwind in our comfortable, cosy large double room with views over beautiful Belhaven bay. There an array of water sports on the doorstep including surfing & SUP plus lots of walks all set within John Muir Country park. The space is perfect for somewhere to get away for a few days.

You'll be sharing the house with me, my daughter and our wee border terrier Maisie (who's very friendly & will want to come say hello).

Sadly we can't take children as we have no other bed for them

The space
You have your own private space (with a lockable outer door) including a large bedroom/lounge and en-suite shower room within our family home.

You will have a TV, easy chairs, desk, dressing table, kettle & tea/coffee provided. Towels and toiletries provided plus ample storage.

Private parking and entrance through the family kitchen and upstairs to your own area. While the kitchen is for access only there are many wonderful places to eat nearby.

For this reason the room is unsuitable for long term stays.

Dunbar High Street is just a 15 minute walk away or a quick hop in a taxi. Lots of history, a wonderful working harbour and nice places to eat.

There is a lovely small local pub just a few minutes walk away serving local beer and food from Wednesday-Sunday.

Dunbar is on the Main East Coast train line, and regular trains get you into central Edinburgh in 20 minutes. There are local buses as well.

You can hire a bike locally and there are lots of other local attractions within a few miles - East Links Family Park, Foxlake (wakeboarding, ropes course etc); Winterfield golf course (just up the road) and Dunbar golf course (qualifier course for The Open) the other side of the town; and lots of beautiful walks around the John Muir Country Park or up in the Lammermuir Hills

Access is via our side door - through our kitchen. No access to the rest of the house.

The flat is located on Rutherford Drive, a well-connected street in Edinburgh. It’s close to Craigmillar Castle and the Newington area, which has a variety of shops and restaurants. The King’s Buildings, the University of Edinburgh campus, and the Royal Infirmary Hospital are all nearby, making it a convenient location for students and professionals.

The flat is shared with one male professional. Public transport links make it easy to reach the city centre

Quiet single room in family home in Penicuik.
Just 10 miles south of Edinburgh with excellent bus connection into the city centre.
We are a very short journey away from the Pentlands National Park and about 10 min away from Roslin with its famous Chapel.

The space
The room has it's own entrance and bathroom, it's a new addition to my house.
It's a bright friendly room with lots of light during the day.
There are blackout blinds for a comfortable nights sleep.
You have a fridge, microwave and kettle with, choice of coffee and teas.

Guest access
You have a room with your own bathroom separate entrance.
In the warmer months you can enjoy a cuppa on the decking or get out into the garden.

During your stay
I am directly next door, so whenever a problem occurs just knock on our door or give me a call!

Please get in touch if you need a check in before 4pm.
I am working , so occasionally the room is not ready before 4pm.

The property is about 50m away from the car park and not suitable for wheel chairs.
