- "I have stayed at this hostel many times but always before with other people-= so it was especially great to have a room to myself - with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The buffet breakfast was good and coffee was too .The last time i stayed the road outside was being converted for the tram lines-but now that the tram runs almost to the door from Waverley station and the airport it is excellent. The room was clean modern and a lot better than the hotel I stayed in for the rest of my holiday near Loch Lomond. I will be back but for a longer stay next time"

- "Great stay!!" - "This is one of the best hostels I ever stayed. I stayed in female 10 people dorm. Though there were 10 people staying, I felt very private. The pods have screens, light and USB connecting port. The staffs were very friendly. I was invited to a beer tasting session and it was very interactive one. JC did the beer tasting session and he was very friendly. He helped me a lot right from check in and whatever query I had, JC helped me with it. The high street area was very nearby. There are lots of options nearby for food. There are lots of pubs nearby hosting live music session. This is the best place to stay if you are looking for somewhere nearby city and it also helped me to meet new people from different parts of the world. This is one of the best stay I had and I would chose this hostel again. "

The staff were friendly and helpful, in the foyer there was a comfortable seated area where you could enjoy the Olympics on a large screen. The room was fine for my needs, a nice ensuite shower, the bed was a bit short but fine for a short stay, there was a desk also, no tv in room but i didn't mind. There was one in the shared kitchen and again comfortable seating to watch it from. There was the option to cook in the kitchen, which was good. It's just round the corner from Hibs ground too, so a possibility to see an SPL game. I booked just a few days before I went up and unfortunately prices go up a lot for the fringe, as handy and pleasant as I found it I wouldn't want to pay that much again, if I decide to go next year I'll book earlier and hopefully get a better deal."
