On street parking, local churches and close by to historical Stockbridge is a mere 20 minute walk through Inverleith Park across from the Botanic Gardens. Lots of restaurants and pubs Dby at the Harbor Village of Newhaven which is also close by to Royal Yacht Britannia. Facilities include, cooker, toaster and microwave in a fully functioning kitchen which includes a washing machine and fridge freezer. The living room furniture comprises a sofa and a futon. There is gardenn furniture and deck chairs also for use in the back garden. Prices are notable for longer stays

Super cute home with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped, and steps away from a convenience store. Especially loved the living room w/ fireplace for cozy evenings (we didn't turn on the house heat) and the attached sunroom was amazing for sitting and relaxing. Washer provided, but no dryer. However, clothes line was nestled in a beautiful flowered garden in the back. Had a minor issue with a shower drain which the host quickly resolved. We didn't need the car space, but there is space to park two cars if needed. Shopping & restaurants up and down the street is very convenient, as well as the beach. Train station is 10 min walk. Enchanting place! Would highly recommend."

ArdNaSaid is a victorian villa from 1870's which is located in the Newington district of Edinburgh retaining many of the period features such as the high ceilings, stained glass window, victorian tiles and ornate cornicing.
With private parking and walking distance to most of Edinburghs attractions this is the ideal spot for family gatherings or large groups to enjoy the city. Especially good for the fringe as you can escape the madness of the city centre and enjoy your peaceful home.

While guests will enjoy total peace and quiet, helpful amenities can be found in the town of North Berwick which is less than a ten-minute drive away. A wider variety of excellent restaurants and family-friendly attractions can be found in Edinburgh, less than forty minutes away.
A short flight of stone stairs leads to the entrance porch, with ample space to hang coats and to store boots, hats and golf clubs. The lodge also benefits from a gently sloping ramp, allowing guests with mobility issues to access the home with greater ease. The contemporary Fenton Lodge boasts modern interiors and elegant furnishings throughout, comfortably sleeping up to four guests across its two beautifully-appointed bedrooms. In the centre of the home is the impressive living space where guests can relax with a good book and enjoy the marvelous views over the surrounding countryside. The kitchen comes fully-equipped with all the tools you could possibly need. Either side of the living space are the super king-size bedrooms, each feature a zip & link bed, making Fenton Lodge an ideal choice for two couples or a small family of four. This is a glorious first and second floor maisonette in a listed villa forming part of a traditional Victorian house situated on a quiet leafy road in the Grange conservation area of Edinburgh.
The property is accessed via two flights of steps (external and internal) to the first floor front door and offers versatile and generously proportioned accommodation. Of particular note are the bright west-facing sitting and dining rooms on the 1st floor. The box bay window in the sitting room permits an oblique view of Edinburgh Castle.
The kitchen is small but fully equipped and has fantastic view towards Arthur's seat. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a king-sized bed facing Arthur's seat on this floor with original Victorian shutters. Completing the accommodation on this floor is a bathroom with bath, overhead shower and underfloor heating.
Two further bedrooms are on the second floor, one double, the other king-sized which benefits from a spacious en suite shower room.

Set in the village of Dalkeith, within three and a half acres of private gardens, it offers complete peace and quiet. When listening to the soothing sounds of the River Esk, which runs through the property, it will be hard to believe you are just a short car journey away from the buzzing capital city.
Originally dating back to 1703, the Manor has been lovingly modernised in recent years by its current owners who have managed to seamlessly blend its original charm and character with updated interiors and contemporary facilities. Logan Manor can comfortably accommodate up to ten guests across five beautifully appointed bedrooms, each of which boasting its very own en-suite bathroom.
On the ground floor is the fully equipped kitchen which comes complete with all the tools a budding chef could possibly need as well as a bright sun room, the perfect spot to enjoy some quite time with a good read while enjoying the garden views. Upstairs, on the first floor is the main drawing room, with its cosy fireplace this is a fantastic space to snuggle up and put on your favourite film. Also on this level is the first of the bedrooms, a super-king room with en-suite bathroom. On the second floor is the beautiful master suite with its super-king bed and luxurious en-suite bathroom complete with indulgent roll-top bath and walk-in rain shower. There is also a further bedroom, a twin, which can on request be set up as a super-king, with en-suite shower room. Finally, on the third floor are the remaining two bedrooms, a super-king room, and a twin room, which again on request can be set up as a super-king room, both of which boast an en-suite shower room.
Outside, the gardens are a real oasis, there is no better way to end a day than to enjoy a soak in the hydro pool swim spa. On a warm evening, the whole gang will enjoy gathering together on the terrace for a yummy barbecue al fresco!

Helpful amenities such as shops and restaurants can be found in the centre of Dalkeith, just a five-minute walk from the Manor. Fort Douglas set within Dalkeith Country Park, is just a five-minute car journey away, makes a fantastic place for the whole family to spend an afternoon with its beautiful walks, excellent restaurant, café and adventure playground. Less than a 10-minute car journey away is the Edinburgh Butterfly & Insect World, here the children are bound to enjoy getting up close to creepy crawlies, fascinating reptiles and beautiful butterflies.
For keen golfers, there are excellent courses in the surrounding area, including Duddingston, Muirfield, Gullane and North Berwick. Arguably the most famous of all, St Andrews, is just an 90-mninute car journey from the home.

Absolutely stunning five bedroom townhouse in the highly sought after Murrayfield neighbourhood, ideally situated between Edinburgh Airport (10 minutes by car/taxi) and Edinburgh City centre (princes street is 2.6 miles away and approx 10-12 minute drive), parking for upto 3 cars available in private car park on site and further spaces available on street free of charge.
The property is spread over three floors and on the ground floor is one converted double bedroom/office with sofa bed, a family bathroom with shower, washing/drying facilities and a very well equipped open plan kitchen/diner with seating for upto 8 (6 chairs at dining table and two breakfast bar seats), there is a sliding door off this room to the garden with luxury outdoor furnishings, water fountains and a fire pit.
On the middle floor is a futher double bedroom with a walk in wardrobe a small bathroom with shower and toilet/sink and a very large living area with seating for upto ten with a massive 90’’ TV with SKY services.

Fenton Tower is a magnificent, fortified 16th Century tower located 18 miles East of Edinburgh near the coastal town of North Berwick. The castle’s location was originally chosen in the 11th Century because it afforded panoramic views in all directions and has had many distinguished visitors, among them being King James VI of Scotland (son of Mary Queen of Scots and Lord Darnley) who took refuge there as he fled from the rebel army in Fife across the Firth of Forth.
The Tower has now been meticulously restored, and opened in 2002 to provide 5-star accommodation for up to sixteen guests. Set among rolling countryside and surrounded by many of the worlds’ most famous golf courses, Muirfield, Gullane & North Berwick, Fenton Tower makes the perfect base for a magnificent golfing experience.
On the ground floor sits the beautiful vaulted dining room, complete with its own suit of armour and antique French walnut dining table. Lit by candle-light for evening dinners this truly atmospheric room will do justice to any dinner party. 32 guests can be seated comfortably within the 4ft thick walls of this fortified home. Our chefs, using fresh local produce, and with years of culinary expertise, will create dishes to suit your individual requirements. From simple lunches to elegant candle-lit suppers, complimented by a selection of fine wines from around the world, your dining experience will be second to none.
The accommodation is spread over five impressive floors, all interlinked by two spiral staircases, and can accommodate up to twelve guests. The Great Hall, with its double height, oak-beamed ceiling, can be used to entertain family and friends as you relax in front of the roaring log fire, or alternatively why not curl up with a good book or your favourite film in the library, with its own private bar. An additional four guests can be accommodated in the luxury lodge, set just meters from the tower, raising maximum capacity to sixteen guests.
