- "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The caravan is located at the far end of the park and proved to be a quiet and peaceful situation. The park is directly opposite the seashore and ideal for exploring coastline wildlife. The caravan is thoughtfully designed to make best use of space although the second bedroom and beds are small. Overall very comfortable accommodation. I think the caravan has been moved since the photos were done as the outdoor space is different to that shown, nicer! I didn't give full marks for cleanliness as we found mouldy bread in one kitchen cupboard and toiletries from previous guests are allowed to accumulate in the bathroom cupboards. There was some food in the freezer; maybe a nice gesture but you don't know how long it's been there."

BASS ROCK AND BELHAVEN BAY PODS
Our two glamping pods are well appointed luxury spaces situated in deliberately slightly wild gardens with stunning views weather permitting. Made in wood, they have wall and underfloor heating ensuring a cosy warm space, a kitchenette, sitting/dining/sleeping areas - and an ensuite shower with flush toilet.

The living areas face out onto open countryside, with fantastic vistas over fields, hills, and the North Sea and Firth of Forth, including Bass Rock and the Isle of May. Outside is a patio area, a chimenea to sit around and keep warm whilst taking in one of the remarkable sunsets, and a BBQ.

THE KENNELS COTTAGE
The mid-Victorian era Kennels were renovated in the early 2020s, making them suitable for both humans and dogs. There are two bedrooms, one ensuite, as well as a kitchen/living room with a wood-burning stove. The underfloor heating keeps them cosy, like the Pods, and there are small garden areas to the front and sides, which were previously outside runs for the dogs. At some point, the Kennels were also a sheep pen - so you would be amongst the first humans ever to occupy this building. EPC rating C.

The Pods and The Kennels Cottage are about 150 metres apart (so a large family would be able to see each other easily, as well as having their own individual spaces), and there are walks into the lovely surrounding countryside immediately from the grounds.

We do have some home produce from our smallholding, which you are welcome to purchase when available - including eggs and chutneys and occasionally in-season vegetables, honey and meat.

Spent the first evening outside the Bass Rock pod (larger outside seating area) listening to the thunder and watching the lightening and the view to the sea, Bass rock and Berwick Law. On arrival please stay in your vehicle pulling over to the left where the red & white arrows are marked. A member of staff will see to you as soon as they can.
You will be shown to your pitch/accommodation, please stay in your vehicle until advised otherwise, you will be given gate codes/info by a team member.
No visitors are permitted that are not included on the original booking.
Whilst on the park you will need to adhere to the rules that are displayed.

This stunning Stable Block of four studio conversions, built from natural stone and wood cladding, seamlessly merge with the natural elements of the surrounding woodland. Blanketed with a sedum roof, these spacious, peaceful, and elegant self-catering studios feature large windows facing the woodland, inviting its tranquil ambiance indoors. Each unit offers ample sleeping and living space, creating a little oasis where history meets countryside living. Boasting a double bed with hospitality living space with mini fridge, with snack bar, nespresso coffee machine and mircowave.
These Cottage Rooms are very quaint in their furnishings, tastefully and comfortably furnished in a homely cottage style, there are three double rooms each with a double bed that share a cottage styled bathroom with bath /shower, located out-with the main building, with a separate side entry adjoining the private stone built building of Bankton Cottage

Finished and fitted out to a high standard, Pentland Lodge will comfortably house up to six adults and comes complete with all the modern furnishings you would expect: flat screen TV, Wifi, and more traditional board games. The lodge has underfloor heating and a wood burning stove, so you’ll be cosy and comfortable whatever time of year you choose for your visit to the Lothians.

The accommodation of Pentland lodge comprises of two double rooms with en-suite bathrooms, plus one twin bedroom. There is also a family bathroom, open plan living area and a dining area with fully fitted and equipped kitchen that includes a dishwasher and washing machine. Most of the accommodation is on the ground floor, with just a cosy snug room in the mezzanine.

Pentland lodge also has a spacious verandah, and the lodge is set in vast grounds with their own parking. Pentland Lodge comes with 6 man sauna & Hot tub.

2 Double rooms both with an ensuite and one with a bath. A separate shower room is situated just off the twin room. An open plan kitchen, dining & living area with stove fire. A cosy snug on a mezzanine level which looks down onto the main living space.

Come off the A720 at junction 1 for Jedburgh on the A68.

Our lodges are wheelchair accessible with a ramp to the property entrance. The inside of the lodge is also accessible across the entire ground floor. Unfortunately the small mezzanine level is not accessible. The downstairs shower room is also large enough for full turning circle for a wheelchair.

Our caravan has it own unique style and suitable for that short family break, get-together with extended family and friends, a couples retreat or a grown-up’s weekend away, we have everything you need to ensure your troubles are left at the door and can truly enjoy your vacation time – whatever the circumstance.

Whether you choose to jump right in and enjoy all the activities and entertainment available onsite keeping the kiddies and those big kids happy for hours, prefer a laid back and quiet break away from all the hustle and bustle, dig out those hiking boots for a trek through the Pentland Hills, or opt to venture out and explore the surrounding areas such as the City of Edinburgh, follow the coastal route to North Berwick, visit Dalkeith Country Park and Go-Ape or attend an exciting event at Musselburgh Racecourse – there really is something for everyone.

The caravan has a master double room with en-suite and 2x twin bedrooms, sleeping 6 in total, she is plenty big for all combinations of family and friends. Her beautiful and newly refurbished interior offers comfort and luxury with a nice slice of fun!

Our self-catering caravan comes fully loaded with everything you will ever need to enjoy a getaway, including:
