- "We had a great time during our weekend stay. The resort was very peaceful and has a lovely little coffee shop as well as other amenities that we didn't get round to using. The place was very clean and neat and the check-in and out was easy via a lockbox. The beds are very small (can't be helped given the size of the caravan), we did have 5 adults staying but even the shortest of us on the stay had their feet hanging off the edge - aside from the size they are comfortable enough to manage a night or two. The hot tub was great and looked clean and there were plenty of towels provided. Overall a very cosy and pleasant stay and would recommend for a couple of nights away. "

The space
The cabins are next to a rustic old barn weddings and events venue with fantastic sea views across St Andrews Bay up the North East coast of Scotland. They sleep 1 or 2 people in double or twin beds with room for a travel cot. Linen and towels provided. Each cabin has an en suite bathroom with toilet, basin, shower and shaver socket. The kitchens include a microwave, kettle, toaster, sink, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, salt, pepper, chopping boards, cutlery, crockery, knives, glassware and fridge with freezer. There is a table and two chairs for eating. The cabins are heated with electric underfloor heating and have hot water. Pets are welcome in cabins 1, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10 while the pet free cabins are 2, 3, 5, 8.

The cabins also overlook our rewilding project. Kinkell Byre is rewilding the old farmland and sea braes, allowing nature to take over and restart ancient processes with the aim of bringing back lost wildlife and addressing the twin crises of biodiversity and climate change. We are planting trees, making ponds, creating wildflower meadows, leaving all plants to grow and conservation grazing with Highland Cows and Ponies to help kickstart Rewilding. The cabins are situated next to stunning old rustic barns that are now a wedding and events venue with weddings at weekends.

The cottage is a recently renovated (completed April 2018) luxury holiday home just 3 miles from the ancient town of St. Andrews.

The house comprises one bedroom with king size bed and a double sofa bed in the living room. We would say it’s ‘small but perfectly formed’ or ‘bijou’!

Outside there is a flat grassed area where kids can run around and burn off energy in complete safety. A BBQ site is available behind each lodge.

The play park which is located directly opposite the holiday lodges is available for all guests to share and provides a great source of endless entertainment for the kids.

The lodges are located at the heart of Cuplahills Farm. We have an amazing array of woodland walks, and farm tracks that provide access to everyone across our family farm and beyond. Guests are encouraged to make the most of their stay at the lodges and wander through the farm visiting the goats, sheep and horses. There are many circular walks all of which will provide the opportunity to get close to nature, see farming close at hand and enjoy spectacular 360 degree views.

Other things to note
During harvest time there will be a few days when large farm machines including combine harvesters, balers and tractors with grain trailers will be in the fields and on the farm tracks. These days are very limited, but provide an amazing opportunity to see these awesome machines in action close at hand. We kindly ask that guests remain vigilant and considerate during these times so as to remain safe and to prevent disruption of work flow.

Located only 2 miles out of St Andrews, the Hay shed is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy sea views. It is positioned in the grounds of a large house with views over a field and then towards the sea. The Hay Shed offers a luxury glamping experience, think outside bath whilst watching the stars, cosy firepit and twinkling festoon lights. Perfect for a getaway for two people but also room for two kids in the mezzanine area (mattress provided but no bed linen for this bed). One dog allowed.

The space
We provide a modern space with amazing country and sea views. Relax with Laura Thomas bubble bath in the outside bath and then warm up in the indoor shower. Light the fire pit and toast marshmallows whilst drinking a hot chocolate which we provide for you. The kitchenette has a toaster, kettle and small fridge. No oven provided. We also provide deck chairs a cosy blanket, iron and ironing board. Secure garden with decking area and the sunken bath. One well behaved dog allowed.

You will have space to park your car and then you have your own private small secure garden, decking area with sunken bath. In the Hay Shed you have a double bed with small kitchenette area, double bed and then an en suite shower room. You have an upstairs mezzanine area with a double mattress, this mattress does not come with bed linen but is a really fun area for kids to sleep. They can look down at you through the cargo net. Often there is a friendly pony in the field at the end of the garden.
