Guest Reviews:

- "We stayed in Ash Lodge for a short break in July, with our little dog. The site is tucked away and although there are other lodges around, it's not like the bigger places where they can all feel on top of each other. The chalet was spotlessly clean, with a well equipped kitchen, good shower and very comfy bed. Nice private garden area and veranda which isn't overlooked...except by the wide variety of birds visiting the feeders! The road is nearby but not too busy and is well screened by trees - you don't hear any noise inside. The decor may be a little dated but it's perfectly comfortable and well situated for exploring the area. Two minute walk to the Whistlefield Inn, which has a lovely bar and great food. Booking was easy and arrival instructions clear. Overall, a little gem which offers great value."

Amazing Space Idyllic Riverside Setting Log Burner
Cabin
Argyll and Bute Council

Bramble Lodge is a lovely lodge for two, overlooking the River Eachaig in Scotland’s first National Park. Wonderful scenery, rich with wildlife. A perfect place for love and romance. Visit nearby Pucks Glen or Benmore Botanical Gardens, dine in style in Dunoon, or in a local Country Inn. Take home some fantastic memories.

Included are electricity, electric heating, bed linen, towels, parking and wi-if. There are NO HIDDEN COSTS. A starter-pack of fuel is provided for the log burner Oct to May.

The space
Bramble Lodge is a comfortable log cabin, with lots of luxuries. It's a great 'little space' for just getting away from it all. It's heated throughout, and the little log burner will keep the cabin warm and cosy even in the coldest of winters.

There are pleasant riverside walks from the cabin. Pucks Glen, a lovely forest/gorge walk is nearby, and the Benmore Botanical Gardens & Cafe are easily accessed. Near the lodges there's a small private wood and a secluded walk by the river - great for observing the wildlife. Sit on the deck in the day time and enjoy the sun, or gaze and wonder at the multitude of stars in the inky black sky at night.

The lodge is especially designed for two. There is a lounge/diner with leather sofa, 40” TV and Netflix. The kitchen is fully equipped with 4-burner hob & oven, cookware, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster and kettle.

Electricity, bedding, towels, wi-fi and private adjacent parking are all included, and you'll find information in the lodge to enhance your stay.

Beds are made up with luxury Egyptian Cotton sheets, and some toiletries are provided.

Airbnb guests are also provided with a complementary Welcome Pack.

Guest access
Guests have access to the accommodation and grounds, from 4:00 pm Arrival Day, including the riverside and woods to the north, and there's public access along the river to the south. A short walk will bring you to the 'Pucks Glen Car Park' and onwards along a traffic-free country path to 'Pucks Glen' and the 'Benmore Botanical Gardens and Cafe'.

Other things to note
The accommodation is perfect for couples, but is not suitable for pets or children. We are sorry but Barbecues, Smoking and Naked Flames (Candles) are not accepted. You are requested to use heating and electrical appliances responsibly, switching off as appropriate, when you are away from the cabin.

The lodge is in an idyllic peaceful riverside location. Guests may sometimes experience a little river and traffic noise, the ‘barking’ of the Roe Deer in the woods, or ‘whooping’ of the night Owls.
