Fort Augustus is a lovely village with all the local amenities you could require.Supermarkets like Aldi or Morrisons are in Fort William which takes about 40 mins travel time...you can book a delivery slot however we were unable to get one for 14 days so I would suggest organising this in advance or taking shopping. That being said you can get shopping locally just not the selection or cost you are used to paying. We took our English bulldog and the property was very dog friendly, the surrounding areas too..Lots of pubs and cafes to sat outside 😑. Kyle and Nick were really helpful however we had no problems with this property. Thanks for a lovely stay!"

- "We only stayed here one night. The cabin was clean and we were presented with some excellent snacks. It was a little small for three adults but would be perfect for a couple. As with most places in Scotland, there is no air conditioning and it was unseasonably warm when we arrived. Thankfully there was a fan to use and during the night it cooled off. It's an easy walk down hill to Fort Augustus and a view of Loch Ness. Our hosts were very kind. The unit is a cabin in their back yard, so you feel a bit like a local . We got a good night's sleep after our long flight and drive and enjoyed listening to the birds as the sun rose. Very happy. "
