Birch Lodge at Pitlandie is a picturesque 2-bedroom luxury lodge with sauna - a perfect getaway for relaxation or exploration. Situated in Perthshire countryside and nestled in 110 acres of private woodland with walks and wildlife to enjoy.

Bedrooms can be configured as king or twin, ensuite bathrooms, lounge with log burning stove, fully fitted kitchen, dining area and utility room. Secure outdoor storage.

It’s sits in a one hundred acre wood with over a mile of meandering woodland walks!

Pitlandie’s stunning woodland includes numerous species of trees, ranging from Scots pine, larch, oak, silver birch, beech, to Sitka and Norway spruce adding colour, beauty and character to the woodland landscape. These charming walks are well maintained, wind through the woodland and range from easy access to cross country standards.

Beyond the lodge garden and over a wee bridge, our guests have the freedom to wander through a majestic Scots pine wood. This bright, fairy tale woodland is abundant with wildlife ranging from red squirrels, brown hares, roe deer and pine marten (at dawn and dusk) through to buzzards, woodpeckers and numerous species of finch and tits!

Through wooden gates the paths extend into a conifer wood where the trees provide shelter from the wind and suntrap glades that are favoured by roe deer for grazing due to the tranquillity and security they provide.

The adventurous amongst you may choose to depart from the path and go cross country into the larch trees where shafts of sunlight descend from a lime green canopy to the forest floor. Alternatively the mixed broadleaf woodland may be more appealing depending on the time of the year, snowdrops, primroses, bluebells and ferns carpet the floor.

Fern Lodge at Pitlandie Wood Lodges is an exclusive 3-bedroom lodge with disabled access and steam room set within 110 acre private woodland in stunning Perthshire.

Comprising 3 bedrooms including king size bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower and bath, double room with easy access to disabled shower and steam room and twin room with 2 single beds.

Within easy access to Perth and Perthshire, Dundee and Angus, Stirling, Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Highlands. Perth is located 6 miles away and you can enjoy and abundance of restaurants and an indoor shopping area. For those who love the outdoors Fern Lodge is within easy reach of the Trossachs, Loch Tay & The Ochill Hills for hikers. The famous Gleneagles Golf Resort is only 22 miles away and for skiers, The Cairngorms is 33 miles away. For motorcycle enthusiasts Pitlandie is ideally situated as a starting point where you can travel around the beautiful countryside. Other outdoor activities that can be explored locally include fishing, shooting and mountain biking. The local whisky distilleries include Glen Turret, Tullibardine and Strathearn.

Fern Lodge offers an open plan living/dining area with seating for up to 6 and log burner, Sky TV and wifi. Kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances including fridge/freezer, hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Utility room has washer/dryer and sink.
