- "Very spacious and clean Great location I would suggest swapping the tv in the lounge area for a smart tv" - "Great Location, very spacious & well equipped property Cleaning could have been more thorough, bins overflowing on arrival as previous guests hadn’t left out for collection" - "we had a large group of 10 and the place was perfect. loads of space if you wanted to get away from everyone. kitchen was well stocked with equipment and a few of the staples like coffee tea and oil. the furniture was as expected for the price. a little tired and one of the sofas is in need of replacing. the only down points is that all of the communal areas are linked and nothing to close them off if you wanted a quite space other than in the bedrooms. and the upstairs rooms can hear everything from the rooms they are above and vice versa due to lack of insulation but didn't cause us any issues. I would definitely stay here again!"

Cabins in Fort William
Wild Nurture Luxury Eco Log Cabin
Cabin
Torlundy, Scotland, United Kingdom

Wild Nurture is an eco luxury offgrid log cabin on a 600 acre private Highland estate with 360 degree views of the Nevis Range. This stunning whole log cabin offers natural beauty, peace, privacy, elevated and unspoilt views in a light, warm space with natural furnishings, powered mainly by renewable energy.

We love the natural elements and have accentuated them within the cabin with a luxury bath to soak, luxury bath robes, comfy sofas, cosy log fire stove and luxurious beds.

The space
The Wild Nurture log cabin is almost brand new, in pristine condition and just entering its second year of business. Blending style and cosiness, the cabin benefits from uninterrupted views, a log burning stove, luxury bath and pure and vast peacefulness. It is unique, cosy, organic and furnished with love and good taste and immersed in stunning natural surroundings. The aim is Wild Nurture, restoration and revitalisation, simple luxury. It’s a perfect romantic getaway or artist/writer/walkers retreat.

A cathedral ceiling, exposed beams and amazing spiral log staircase give warmth and character to the open-plan living/dining room with a wood-burning stove, French doors and large windows. A well-equipped kitchen with large dining table makes for a cosy place to cook and eat. For low energy consumption, the kitchen has a combo microwave/convection/grill oven (not a full size oven), a dishwasher and toaster. Two double bedrooms, one upstairs with a super king size wooden double bed open to the eaves and below to allow a full spectrum view, a double sofa bed and a luxury freestanding bath; one double bedroom on the ground floor with shower room and toilet next door. I recommend sleeping at least one night with the curtains open to enjoy waking up to sunrise and the views all around.

The Wild Nurture eco-cabin is mainly powered by solar and a micro-hydro system. This is a stay that invites you to practice being ecologically conscious as well as sensually indulged. All our appliances are minimum Energy A++ rated and if you’re mindful about not using high power appliances all at the same time, you won’t notice the difference. Underfloor heating and hot water is gas, so while heat is plentiful, we encourage you to use the wood fire if you want to be more sustainable and enjoy the elements. The cabin has a private water supply from a spring on our hill as we decided not to have chemically treated water, it has a warm peaty colour, the type that makes Scottish whisky unique and your skin and hair will love it. It is not recommended for drinking, so we provide plentiful fresh Highland spring water via a fountain for drinking.

Located in the Heart of the Highlands, Fort William is known as the Outdoor Capital of the UK with an abundance of adventure activities on offer and wild landscapes to discover. It is also a perfect base for exploring the islands of Skye, Mull and Iona, indulging in whisky tours, visiting cultural heritage sites, bagging a few munros and walking through the stunning glens of Glen Nevis, and Glencoe all made famous in the films Braveheart, Harry Potter and Outlander.

They can get wet and muddy if the weather is wet, so we would appreciate if you clean/dry your dog in the car/cage first. Please mention if you’re bringing dogs - the type and breed - in your booking request. Thank you.
