A labour of love this 2 bedroom apartment is located in the city of Sydney. This home is over 200 years old, renovated from the basement to the roof and other than a few bumps in the night, guests have not encountered too many ghosts . We are well stocked with several varieties of gourmet coffee/teas. There is a large back yard with lounging chairs and a swing. It is a very clean comfortable and warm space. ( air conditioner in the summer and heat pump in the winter) I offer breakfasts during your stay, so please inform me of your choice of eggs & toast or cereal or oatmeal. The space is for 4 and has a comfortable futon that will fold down to accommodate another 2 persons. There is free wifi Netflix and parking is included. Guests are free to snack on any foods items.
I keep an open communication going from the time my guests book. I am available whenever you need any information or have any questions. If the guest wishes to share a chat and a cup of coffee I'm quite open to it. If the guest prefers their privacy that is respected also.

Upon entering this former 100 year old convent one has an immediate sense of awe. From the massive oak staircase, to the large hallways and intricate original woodwork, from an Era long passed, it has the feeling of being transported back to that time. The space
The living room features a wonderful space with fireplace, record player/bluetooth speaker, guitar for strumming, and warm moody colours that come to life with the setting sun. A TV with Chromecast (no cable) is available to connect to your phone, tablet, or laptop for streaming sports, TV shows, and movies.

McKye's also boasts a large farmhouse style kitchen with a full dining table, brand new appliances, breakfast nook, and a beautiful ocean view.

The back deck shares the same great view of the water, but is also set amidst a large rolling grassy yard that is perfect for exercise, leisure and even popping up a tent! BBQ and patio table are set for use.

Two large bright, themed bedrooms, with closets, dressers and double beds. "The Admiral's Room” features a stunning ocean view and evokes memories of the sea. "The Amethyst Room” features a hazy purple aesthetic that is mellow and soothing. Our third room, “The Study”, is a small office (plus a Super Nintendo for much-needed breaks).

A bright, full bathroom with shower and tub is always kept spotless and has all necessary amenities, including a first aid kit. Laundry is also onsite.

There is a large driveway for parking your vehicle.

The hospital is only a minute away, and the rear neighbour is a police officer should any emergencies arise.
