Space is small but has what you need. It is highly suitable for short stay guests such as cyclists, walkers and explorers. It`s designed for guests who want a roof over their heads with some comfort. It has on-suit facilities and is self-contained...There is a bunk bed so two people can stay, but it is really only suitable for one.....

My self contained bolt hole is suitable for a solo traveller: e.g Cyclist, Ramblers, Island Explorers, Sportsperson and guests who are not looking for the Ritz, but a small place to sleep, cook and watch TV and not cost too much.

It`s not luxurious, but comfortable.
It`s suitable for a younger person.

The space is a self-contained room with a wet room (toilet and shower combined) and what you need for an independent short stay. There is a pound coin meter for electricity...( YOU PAY NORMAL RATE FOR ELECTRICITY )

If you have a bike there is a locked shed to keep it in.

I will show you the room and how everything works. If there are any problems myself or appointed friend will be available to help.

Other things to note
The room is central for the Isle of Wight with a good bus service nearby. There is a food shop, hairdresser and fish and chip shop one minute walk away. The food shop is open until 10pm.

Located on the top floor of a large Victorian house, this lovely spacious room is just a 10 minute walk from Ventnor town and 15 minutes from Ventnor and Bonchurch seafront.
The room is offered on a room only basis and we do not have any facilities to offer food however tea and coffee facilities are available.

Kitchen Diner - fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, oven, toaster, microwave, kettle, 2 x fridges (1 fridge is shared between two rooms) and freezer (1 dedicated drawer per room). All pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, etc are provided. Each room also has a large dedicated storage drawer plus allocated cabinet space for storage.
There is a sociable dining table in the kitchen, with a USB socket right next to the table, perfect to sit and catch up on some work over a cup of coffee or glass of wine.

A washing machine is also provided for guest use.

During your stay
We live off-site but we are always available by phone, text and email should there be any queries or problems. We are only a 10-minute drive away, so readily to hand in case of any issues.

We will also meet you on arrival for check-in, to welcome you, show you around and to answer any questions you might have.

We have a large 3 storey house a short walk to Cowes town centre for sailing. You would have your own lounge with smart tv with Netflix and fast wi fi, you would share the kitchen, lounge bathrooms etc with owners. We will provide a hearty continental breakfast but cannot provide other meals but you are welcome to cook.Each room has a safe and small TV, fast WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities.This is our home so there is a lot of the usual clutter we are clean and tidy and welcoming to all

The space
We are very convenient for Cowes town for sailing etc about a 5 minute walk, you are free to use all the facilities that we have. We have just had a total refurbishment with new electrics, central heating, replastered and a new shower room plus new carpet throughout.Room 1 has a double and a single bed, rm 2 has a single bed and room 3 has a double and a single bed and room 4 has a double and a single bed .We provide a bath sheet and hand towel for each person and there is a hair dryer in each room we also provide individual shower gel shampoo and conditioner also there are tea and coffee making facilities in every room and we now have an echo dot in each bedroom and a smart tv.You have your own lounge with smart tv we want you to feel at home so if you want to lie on the sofa watching TV feel free. For breakfast there is a selection of cereal, toast and crumpets a wide selection of jams etc, fruit and fruit juice, we are very flexible about time but if we have other guests due that day we would ask you to vacate your rooms by 11am you would be free to use the lounge . There is a locked shed in the garden for bikes.

We are very open to having long term guests the single room would be ideal for this and we would be happy to negotiate a special rate. We are only five minutes from Cowes high street with all the yacht clubs pubs etc but far enough away not to get the noise. We are also very close to Siemens plessey, GKN and Gurit . Osborne House home to Queen Victoria is only a short distance over the floating bridge in East Cowes the house and grounds are a wonderful place to visit.If you are catching the red jet to Cowes walk through the high street when you reach the police station walk up the hill if we are able we could pick you up .If you have any dietary restrictions let us know we can then provide a choice for you.
