This beautiful vacation rental home overlooks Galveston Bay in Kemah, Texas. It is one of only two homes available for rentals that is located within 3 minutes walking distance of the wildly popular Kemah Boardwalk entertainment complex. The home will easily sleep 16 people and features a recent remodeling of the bathrooms and kitchen. The primary home has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and a detached guest room with bath resides on the ground floor. Therefore there are 5 total Bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. There is a 220 foot private pier available for those who wish to go crabbing or fishing or both. Five crab traps are located on the pier and there is an elevated observation deck at the end of the pier with a 360 degree view. One of the unique aspects of this home is the 2600 square foot wrap-around wooden deck - complete with outdoor bar. The deck also attaches to the ocean side balconies and the balconies are connected with a spiral staircase. This is a gorgeous home with spectacular views. Great for fishing, relaxing or entertaining.

The Ground Floor is primarily for parking but the 'Guest Bedroom' is also located here. The Guest Bedroom is underneath the main home and access is available via the exterior stairs. The Guest Bedroom has been recently remodeled and has a Queen bed, full bathroom, wardrobe closet and A/C. The queen bed will sleep two comfortably.

Middle Floor
The Middle Floor contains most of the living space of the home. Here you will find the kitchen, dining room, living room, Master Bedroom, and Little Bedroom. The entire home has been remodeled and all bathrooms feature beautiful tile and fixtures. The master bedroom has a queen bed, desk, and private bath. The little bedroom has bunk beds that can sleep both adults and children. In addition, the outdoor deck is located on the middle floor. (see The Deck below)

Top Floor
The Top Floor consists of the Big Bedroom and the Big Balcony. The big bedroom can sleep 6 people with a queen bed and 1 bunk bed (Full over Queen). The big bedroom also has a recently remodeled private bath. The Big Balcony is very close to the water and provides an excellent view of the Kemah waterway. Visitors can see the shrimp boats, sail boats, and power boats coming and going.

The Deck
Located one floor above the ground floor and the same level as the Middle Floor, the wooden deck is 2600 square feet in area and wraps around several sides of the home. The deck also features an outside bar and private bathroom. The deck has a spiral staircase at the front of the home that connects the front balconies of the Top Floor and the Middle Floor. It is a wonderful location for relaxing and / or entertaining guests.

Private Pier
The private pier is 220 feet long and extends out into one of the best fishing areas in Kemah. The end of the pier, known as the T-head, has an upper observation area for 360 degree viewing. It is a gorgeous place to watch sunsets, birds, sailboats and more. In addition, there are 5 crab traps that are permanently attached to the pier. All one has to do is fill the bait box and drop the crap traps back into the water. Wait several hours or overnight and hopefully you will find 5 or 10 crabs.

Our waterfront home is only a 2-3 minute walk from the Kemah Boardwalk and the Kemah Lighthouse District, where you'll find shopping, food, fun and entertainment for the whole family. At the house, enjoy the sight and sound of the bay from boats and birds passing by. Get on the water with provided kayaks and explore the coast. Fish from our private 216-ft pier. There's an elevator, EV charger, foosball, ping pong, basketball, arcade, outdoor chess/checkers, and cornhole game.

The vacation retreat is situated right on the shoreline. Greeted with a beautiful sunrise each morning, you will be awed at the magnificent panoramic views of the bay from outside as well as inside of the house. There are lounging areas on the covered balcony overlooking the gulf. The single and tandem kayaks can be launched from the concrete pad next to the water. Life jackets of different sizes are provided.

The heart of the house is its open floor plan that combines the living area with the dining room and kitchen. Rounding out the 2nd floor are bedrooms 1 & 2 and bathrooms 1 & 2. Bedrooms 3, 4 & 5 , bathroom 3 and an additional living room are on the 1st floor. All rooms are within the house under one roof and accessible with inside stairs and elevator. Park on our nestled driveway away from the street.

Pierfect Day at Kemah Bay! Be at ease on our private 230-ft pier with hand railings on all sides. Chill under plenty of shade and cozy string lights which adorn the pier. There are lights for night fishing and cleaning stations with running water and sink on the pier and patio. We have caught red fish, flounder, speckled trout, black/red drum, sheepshead, catfish, alligator gar, crabs, including sharks! If you love to fish, this is the place!

All HDTVs are smart, which means you can watch your favorite cable and internet channels by using only the TV remote. You will have access to our ad-free YouTube Premium account and YouTube TV account, which broadcasts live TV from 85+ popular cable channels, on-demand shows, local news and sports. There are other video streaming apps installed on the TV that you can log in with your own account.

The Kemah Boardwalk and the Lighthouse District have many events and activities scheduled throughout the year so please check their websites for latest happenings. We have the prime up-close spot to experience the Kemah Boardwalk Fireworks on certain holidays and every Friday from June to July. You can "sea" floating arrays of lights illuminating from numerous boats surrounding the fireworks barge, which is anchored not far from the end of our pier.

For bedroom #4, there's a bunk bed with a double at the bottom and twin at the top. There's also a separate trundle bed (twin size) that can be pulled out from the bottom of the bunk bed.

Elevator is 32" wide and 40" deep. It is reserved for guests who have difficulties in using the stairs. No children are allowed inside without an adult present.

The level 2 EV car charger is the Tesla Gen 3 Home Charging Station. Adapter J1772 is needed to connect to non-Tesla EVs.

You can check yourself in with the keypad. We live in the area and are available when needed.

You will have access to the house, pier, backyard and sea. Doors labeled as "No Access", attic, shed and anything that is locked are off limits.

There are outside security cameras at the front and back of the house.

Fireplace is not in service. Driveway gate remains open during your stay.

- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.

The Kemah house is not on the water but you can see the water when your relaxing on the deck. Walk across the street to the Bel Road Park and see a full view of the Galveston Bay and the Lights from Downtown Kemah. We are on the water side of 146 that means easy access to the Kemah Boardwalk Restaurant’s, Entertainment and Night Life. All the fun is up Kipp Ave ½ mile away. You are just far enough away that you can't hear the roller-coaster noise coming from the Kemah Boardwalk.
The house is fully furnished with everything you need for a week-end get away including Internet/ WIFI. The garage is very spacious and a Large driveway for your Boat or Motor home. No Saturday or holiday check in or check out.

Home features 5 bedrooms and 4 full baths with travertine floors throughout most of the home and granite countertops in several of the bathrooms. The kitchen has views of the water and features stainless steel appliances including double ovens, a cooktop, ice maker, wine cooler, dishwasher and fridge. The home has large windows throughout, providing for lots of light and beautiful views. The large and open concept kitchen and living room with vaulted ceiling are located on the 2nd floor and are perfect for entertaining or relaxing. The bay views from both are exceptional. A large 2nd floor covered balcony with unending views of the bay, spans the entire width of the home and a second balcony facing the front of the home overlooks mature trees and a garden. A second smaller lounge/ living room with tv and built in cabinetry is positioned downstairs and can be used to entertain kids while adults prepare meals or watch tv upstairs. The 1st floor porch features some seating and a small table as well a propane grill for guests' use.

**Please note that the effects of several hurricanes this past summer unfortunately destroyed the pier. We are currently working on the redesign and rebuild of the pier.**

Guests & Visitors may not venture onto neighbors' property, particularly: neighbors' driveways, piers, bulkheads, boat ramps and boat ramp steps. THE NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR'S BOAT RAMP AND ADJOINING BOAT RAMP STEPS, WHICH ARE LOCATED CLOSE TO THE NORTHERN PROPERTY LINE (WHERE SEABREEZE'S PROPERTY AND THE NEIGHBOR'S MEET), ARE EXTREMELY SLIPPERY AND DANGEROUS DUE TO ALGAE GROWTH. Guests and Visitors agree to fully indemnify Neighbors and Seabreeze's Owners from any harm that may arise from using or accessing Neighbors’ property. The booking party agrees to the waiver of Neighbors' and Seabreeze Owners' liability by reserving the property, and agrees to do so on behalf of all Guests and Visitors.

Parties, events, gatherings or any sort of loud get-togethers are forbidden. We ask that guests be mindful & respectful with respect to noise levels.

No additional guests (other than those included on the reservation) may visit the property, unless permission is obtained for others to visit.

Use of the Seabreeze property's pier and bulkhead is at Guests' and Visitors' own risk. Guests and Visitors agree to assume all responsibility while on or using the Seabreeze bulkhead and pier, including the pier's various features, including: boat slip, launch, decking, swim ladder, lighting, kayak, etc. No diving is allowed from the bulkhead or pier. Swimming, fishing and water float & watercraft use is also agreed to be done at Guests' and Visitors' own risk. The booking party agrees to the waiver of Seabreeze Owners' liability regarding use of the pier and bulkhead by reserving the property, agrees to do so on behalf of all Guests and Visitors.

The huge living room with the dining room table area connected gave us tons of space to hang out and converse during our stay. The kitchen is really nice. Coffee makers, Keurig coffee maker, the stand alone ice cube maker which gave us tons of ice for drinks, and the big kitchen cooktop allowed us to cook and do everything we needed for meals and snacks. Our kids said having a TV in every bedroom along with both of the living rooms (upstairs and downstairs) was very nice since it gave them the option to watch their own programs, even though almost all of our time was spent conversing and enjoying the wonderful views. We went out onto the boat dock one morning and a school of dolphins (at least 3) came swimming up to us and were literally 10 feet away from where we were. We got some outstanding pictures of them right next to us. The pelicans (which there are alot of) were really cool to see and enjoy. Being able to park at least six cars in the long driveway made it very easy for everybody to take their cars on errands, etc. Overall, this was one of our best experiences ever with a VRBO home and all of the kids have already told us that they would love coming back to this area again and stay in this home for another long vacation. Which we are going to definitely do in the near future. Highly recommend this home. And communication with Charles, the owner, was extremely good. He was very quick to respond to any questions we had for him, and the binder in the home showing suggested restaurants and things to do was very helpful. Having the Kemah Boardwalk area less than a mile away allowed us to go there for several meals. A gorgeous landscaped garden greets guests at the front of the home. The 5 bedroom, 4 full & 2 half bath house has an open concept main kitchen and living room with vaulted ceiling that are perfect for entertaining or relaxing with direct views of the water.

The kitchen features stainless steel appliances including a commercial oven with gas cooktop, dishwasher, fridge, warming drawer and microwave. A separate bar area is situated outside the kitchen by the grand living room and features a granite bar top, ice maker a wine cooler with dual temperature settings and two beverage fridges.

The home has large, floor to ceiling windows throughout, providing for lots of light and wonderful views of the bay. The home’s first and second floors feature large covered patio and balconies with various patio furniture seating and dining options.

The first floor has a kitchen with full size fridge, oven, cooktop, dishwasher and microwave as well as three bedrooms, two of which have king size beds with adjoining private full bathrooms, and a third small bedroom with a bunk bed consisting of a twin over a full size bed and access to a half bath a couple steps away. The first floor also has a large living room with a couch that folds out to a queen size sleeper sofa, as well as a small dining table.

The second floor features an enormous master bedroom and ensuite with jacuzzi tub, shower, dual vanities and multiple closets. The main kitchen and living room are also on the second floor.

A third bedroom is situated on the 3rd floor accessed via a spiral staircase and is appointed with a queen size bed and adjoining full bath. The third floor also has two large padded benches located on either side of the third floor landing, that can be used for naps or potentially even sleeping, if needed.

An elevator provides access to the first and second floors, as well as the landing in between the 1st and 2nd floors. It does not reach the 3rd floor, however. *Guests requiring use of elevator must provide advance notice of such so that keys allowing for its operation can be provided.

We currently offer "Hulu+ Live TV" to our guests on 6 flat screen HDTVs. It is available on both living room TVs, upstairs and downstairs. Also, all the bedrooms, with the exception of the bunk bed room, has access to it.

**Please note that the effects of several hurricanes this past summer unfortunately destroyed the pier. We are currently working on the redesign and eventually rebuild of the pier.**

Guests & Visitors may not venture onto neighbors' property, particularly: neighbors' driveways, piers, bulkheads, boat ramps and boat ramp steps. Guests and Visitors agree to fully indemnify Neighbors and the Bay House Owners from any harm that may arise from using or accessing Neighbors’ property. The booking party agrees to the waiver of Neighbors' and the Bay House Owners' liability by reserving the property, and agrees to do so on behalf of all Guests and Visitors.

Use of the Bay House property's pier and bulkhead is at Guests' and Visitors' own risk. Guests and Visitors agree to assume all responsibility while on or using the Bay House bulkhead and pier, including the pier's various features. No diving is allowed from the bulkhead or pier. Swimming, fishing and water float & watercraft use is also agreed to be done at Guests' and Visitors' own risk. The booking party agrees to the waiver of the Bay House Owners' liability regarding use of the pier and bulkhead by reserving the property, and agrees to do so on behalf of all Guests and Visitors.

During the evening, you can turn on the soft lights on the patio with a glass of wine. It is the perfect couples retreat with enough room for the kids. It's also perfect for the girls or boys trip so you can relax and have a great time. The Onyx Abode offers plenty of room for the kids with a Queen-sized sofa bed so everyone can enjoy the outstanding accommodations. We recently added a new gaming console in the guest room. This console is connected to the TV much like a firestick. Once you access the appropriate HMDI input on the TV then you can play over 20,000 Arcade Games from the 70's through the 90's from all over the world. The Onyx Abode also has a Roku Smart TV in every room.

It is also the perfect location for Traveling Nurses since The Onyx Abode is located in close proximity to several local Medical Centers. Welcome to this Beautiful New Construction Four-plex in Kemah, TX. Located just steps away from the famous Kemah Boardwalk. Luxury Amenities: Stainless Steel Appliances, Recess Can Lighting, Garden Baths, and much more.. Appliances include: Microwaves, Range/Ovens, Dishwashers, Garbage Disposals, Celling fans in all bedrooms, and washers/dryers. Located walking distance to Wal-Mart, Target, Chili's, Home Depot, T-Bone Toms, Tookies, Portofino Marina and all the local Kemah Pubs & Gift Shops.

- "Good news, then bad news. The good news is that the property was conveniently located, felt safe, accomodated our weekend needs and the AC worked terrific. The owner communicated well and was swift to respond to our requests. The bad news is that the cleanliness fell well short of what we expected. Check in was delayed an hour for the purpose of cleaning, yet when we arrived, it was clear that the bed sheets in the master had not been changed there were stains and hairs on the sheets. There was no bed comforter or blanket on the bed. When we stripped the sheets to wash them, the pillows were also in need of washing. There were no towels, soap or toilet paper in the master bath as communicated in the online listing. Towels were in the closet and on the dresser and there were only two washrags in the entire apartment. The online listing indicated 2 King beds, but they were queens. The online listing showed 4 bar stools, there were only 3. The toilet paper dispenser in the 2nd bathroom was broken and did not appear 'safe'. The master bath was the worst in that there was an excessive amount of mildew/mold on the shower head and the drain plug. There was toothpaste residue in the toothbrush holder. As mentioned above, Jessica was responsive when we communicated our cleanliness concerns and the absence of toilet paper in that she rushed out to the store to purchase new sheets, TP, cleaning products and brought us extra washing supplies. No $ concession was offered."

This sailboat is moored in a safe and stimulating environment for morning exercise or evening hikes. The views are very special at sunrise and in the evenings when the sun goes down. The silence of the place is present and has a very good effect on the spirit. The harbor facilities have showers, bathrooms, laundry and parking. The property counts endless trails, large grove, two great restaurants and within walking distance, many more gastronomic offerings for all tastes.

Supermarket, gas stations and more minutes away. A pearl in Kemah hard to miss.

The air conditioning of the boat is a marine team (CrusAir de Dometic) that gives air (cold/heat) to the main room and the cabins. It is a very good team located under one of the seats in the living room.

The air conditioning of the boat is refrigerated with seawater and the salt of the water sometimes accumulates in the equipment tubes. If it is used 24/7 throughout the month it is likely that it will have to be cleaned from time to time. It's not a difficult task, but if you don't want to do it, you have to consider the cost of doing it by a professional that is around $150 USD. The last cleaning was done on May 27, 2024.

Ready to relax on the water, pictures speak for themself. Our houseboat serves as bed and bath and don't leave on dock. Our kitchen offers great equipment to feel just like home. You will be staying very close to all the attractions that kemah is famous for and only 15 min from Space Center and 45 mins to Galveston with so many great restaurant to eat around. Our location is very peaceful with a great fishing dock just steps away.

The space
Our Houseboat has a home amenities that feels like home. Has two AC's. Both are easy operated and temperature controlled so it won't be a problem if it's getting so cold on you. We also added extra fans and two heaters. The boat has two tv's. Both are smart TV. Take note WE DON'T HAVE WIFI connection in the boat so we have no internet tv. Both are using Antenna channels only and no cable connection. One small tv in the living room and 32 inches in the bedroom with dvd player and both can play usb.
Bathroom has good shower and a bath tub. Toilet is a little different from our house toilet as it was design for boats, it's easy to manage but just pay attention for the instructions and reminders to avoid inconvenience. Kitchen is fully equipped to cook all your meals, (except oven.) Oven don't work but the cook top does. Just need to follow the instructions how to use the cooktop to avoid inconvenience. We provide dishes and pans. We do not allow grilling within the boat for safety issues. The marina has a strict policy too about the grilling within the dock so I suggest, grilling will be the meal preparation that you be excepted while staying on the boat. But with so many great places to eat in the area you may not need it. Front patio has a relaxing seats. Top deck has over a great view for overlooking lake! The houseboat is something a not typical place to stay. With the rock a by baby at night while the waves dances with the wind, surely an experienced to remember.

Guest access
You can have the whole boat by yourself. You can also access the Marina bath house for great shower pressure. The marina Swimming pool is not open for public. It's only applied for the member of the club and the boat owners. Guest have an access for the pool but must swim with the host or the host is in the marina (rules applied. It's for the safety of everyone.) No life Guard on duty.
When going around, Kemah Boardwalk has to many fun activity to offer, rides, live music, and great food. Johnson Space Center is 15 minutes away and a trip to Galveston is less than a hour away.

NOTE TO REMEMBER. Guest must read the note before making the reservation.

LOCATION: The marina located within the subdivision. Great neighborhood and nice people around. From the houseboat to the parking lot, has a little distance. Approximately 280 steps. The Marina provided carts at the entrance of every dock to help loading heavy stuffs but strictly, must return to any entrance dock for the courtesy of other user.

INSIDE THE BOAT: Our boat is measured 6 feet and 3 inches. Tall guests have height of 6 feet and above must be aware of ducking inside the boat to prevent hitting the ceiling lamps and the air condition attached on the ceiling.

FISHING AND KAYAKING: We don't allow fishing within the boat dock but there is a great area for fishing. We have a nice fishing pier within the marina. Not far from the boat. Approximately about 80 steps. Just bring the camping chair we provided inside the boat because there is no bench on the pier. Fishing poles and crab cage are not included. Please provide your favorite one for the convenient of your fishing. You can buy fresh one on the nearest seafood market. Just search "Seafood Market at Kemah" it will give you multiple selection. You can also rent Kayak's in many different shop around if you like more water activities. Must wear life vest when kayaking. We have extra life jackets on board, you can use them if needed, just must dry thoroughly before storing back.
