We have just added a little cabin that is about 250 Sq Ft. It is nestled up in the trees at the back of our property. It is in our back yard, you can see the back of our house. But it is quiet and we give you your privacy. It will only sleep two people. It is compact so it will be a tight squeeze for some and not huge head room for some. But it is cute and will be a great getaway cabin. It has a two door dorm fridge and microwave. We also have a gas grill and charcoal grill on porch for your use. There is an induction hot plate for your cooking. It has everything you need for grilling and microwaving your meals. And all your towels and linens . It is wifi and tv friendly. Guests staying longer than 4 days are responsible for washing their own sheets and towels. We will restock toilet paper and paper towel on requestl. Our rental is two day minimum .

- "My husband and I stayed here for my birthday weekend. It was absolutely perfection. Unlike many vacation rentals everything was provided, ample cleaning supplies, toilet paper, and paper towels. The location is unbeatable a very private lodge surrounded by nature. Beautiful birds visited each morning and we were even greeted by an armadillo one afternoon. The lodge itself is immaculate and well-maintained with beautiful and quaint decor. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need including a nice array of basic spices. The few days we visited there were torrential rains and we were slightly concerned about traveling the unpaved road to get back to the main highway but the water ran off and travel was never a problem. Although the rain-affected some of our plans the Lodge was so comfortable and relaxing it was a treat To sit on the porch and enjoy the rain. This cute and cozy cabin is set on the back of my property and overlooks the pond. It is a “tiny house” that my oldest son finished out to live in after college. It will only accommodate 2 people, but very comfortably. There is a full kitchen with a full sized fridge, a hot plate, microwave, and convection oven. It also has all cooking supplies and even several condiments and spices.
The cabin has a full sized bed that is very comfortable! There is a covered front porch for sitting and enjoying the sunsets and a charcoal grill for outdoor cooking.
There are two other cabins on the property, so you might run into other guests.

This a split level studio, that includes a fully functioning kitchen. The kitchen includes most cooking supplies, utensils, dinnerware, glasses and mugs. There is a two burner stovetop, a convection/microwave and spacious refrigerator. Also available is a toaster, toaster oven, air fryer, and a Keurig coffee maker. There is a small corner table with two bar stools at window level providing peaceful views while dining.
The bedroom also serves as a peaceful living area. The horse farm is brought to life in this space with a 360 degree mural depicting the surrounding landscape.
The twin trundle sleigh bed is very comfortable, with memory foam toppers on both primary and secondary mattresses. All bedding is provided and all include allergy covers for pillows.
Just off the living area is a cozy study nook for those who enjoy a neat and organized office space.
The bathroom has a shower and utilizes an east facing window to provide natural lighting. Vanity lighting is excellent with ample storage for personal items. Towels are provided as well as hair dryer, flat iron and basic toiletries.
All flooring is allergy friendly with no carpet, instead, utilizing tile and heavy duty linoleum with a wood floor pattern.
Outside, you will enjoy a spacious deck with a Weber gas grill provided for those who enjoy grilling. Two chairs are provided for the deck and are great for lounging beneath the shaded space. A high velocity fan is provided for your comfort.
There is a fire pit near by with wood and chairs available.
Parking is concrete with a sidewalk leading to the studio apartment.

This cottage is used for extended stays only (30-night minimum policy). It's a compact space with everything you need in a lush forest setting. The cottage is very secluded from all of our other cabins. It shares a driveway with one other cabin. A grill and picnic table allow for outdoor dining, and a fire pit sets the ambiance for star-gazing at night.

This cabin has a full-service kitchenette, queen bed, recliner, smart TV, Wi-Fi, and cell phone booster.

The space
We provide all the essentials and comforts of home. The kitchenette has a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, efficiency-sized 4-top stove/oven combo, cookware, and dining ware. We have tried to provide everything you'd need to prepare a full meal to a basic quick fix, but if something is missing or unavailable, we will be happy to accommodate any reasonable requests.

A large armoire for hanging clothes and storage is provided, and you'll surely get a good night's sleep on our comfortable queen-sized bed.

In the corner, there is a small table that doubles as dining and a desk area, and a leather recliner allows you to kick back and enjoy some TV time or reading.

The bathroom is fully stocked with hygiene essentials. It has a large shower but no tub.

This cabin is perfect for business travel. Free high-speed WiFi is provided (it is not fiber optics, but our guests have had no issues with it when streaming or doing work on their computers), and a cell phone booster assists with data connection services. Verizon seems to work better in this area, but our guests on AT&T or other networks haven't had an issue connecting.

We have miles of nature trails to explore by foot or on a golf cart (for an additional charge). A beautiful creek runs through the property not far from the cottage. We are part of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Pineywood Trail, so bird watching and other wildlife is abundant!

***IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THIS CABIN & OUR PROPERTY***

The Meadows cabin has a separate entrance from the property's main entrance and is shared by one other cabin.

The hot tub, laundry room, and activity field are shared amenities. These are located past the main house, so you will likely want to drive to them. The hot tub may be reserved for an hour of private use; however, you do not have to reserve it to use it. All other amenities are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

We have a NO PETS & NO SMOKING/VAPING policy. Smoking is only allowed outside the cabin, away from open doors and windows. Extra fees will be charged if we determine smoking has occurred inside the cabin.

Guest access
You have full access to your cabin and will be given directions to it upon checking in at the main house upon arrival. A key will be in the cabin when you arrive so you can secure your belongings. If you prefer a contact-free check-in, that may be arranged upon request.

This cottage has a separate driveway from the main entrance. It is a well-maintained gravel/dirt driveway with a manual privacy gate.

On the main property (accessed by a different driveway), we have a hot tub and laundry facility available to our guests free of charge. These are shared areas, but you will have private use of the hot tub as long as you reserve a time through the office located in the main house, so while you're doing laundry, you can take a soak in the adjoining hot tub!

Other things to note
We have a 28-day minimum stay in the cabin, but we can occasionally accommodate shorter stays between reservations. If your dates show no availability, contact me to see if they are actually available. NOTE: Our nightly rate will increase for shorter stays, depending on the length of the stay, so be sure to ask about the rate when you inquire about the dates.

A nice cabin, fully furnished, sleeps 3 comfortably in quiet rural eastern Texas near lake Kurth and north of Lufkin in piney woods in tiny spread out community.

The space
Quiet location, few neighbors around, Angelina river access a couple hundred yards away.
It takes about 15 minutes (5.2 miles) to get here from highway 59. Lake Kurth is 7 minutes away (public boat ramp). (website hidden) its rules on city of Lufkin public site.

The place has city water and sewer, electric power, A/C (it is a heat pump and works as heater as well), instant (on demand) water heater, standard toilet, shower and sink. Kitchen has fridge, electric stove, microwave and all kitchenware (plates, glasses, silverware), pots, pans, coffee maker, tea pot, etc. There is flat screen TV (with DVD player and many DVD movies), older Xbox console with 9-10 games but no internet (cell phone LTE internet works well with major such as AT&T carriers) and only two local channels (English ABC and Spanish). We were not able to find/get a cable/satellite/internet provider to service the cabin without cutting many nearby trees to get the satellite view.

Carolyn and Cals cabin is usually booked solid, So besure to not wait. Little cabin charm set among the oaks. This little getaway has its own little flavor of cabin feel without being way back in woods. Cabin is nestled back far enough from hwy to have that rural feeling and the quiet and relaxing. We are just 3 miles from Lufkins loop 287. You have privacy and easy parking. There is a gas grill and firepit for your outside use. Sit on covered porch and drink your coffee in the mornings.

The space
The Cabin is a small apt. Set up like a basic rv inside. This cabin is 250 sq ft. Door ways are small . It has small fridge, and all the cooking and eating utensils one needs. There is a grill outside under covered porch for cooking, and microwave inside. It has two club chairs and stools for relaxing and watching tv. It also has has ductless mini splits for heating and cooling .There is a wonderful deck out front for enjoying the birds, squirrels and sometimes rabbits. It does have wifi, )and tv cable for your enjoyment. It has a Queen bed with memory foam mattress. It is cute and clean and just right for a quick getaway for one or two. It has small bath with shower. There are guest toiletries incase you forget something. It has a gas grill on porch for your use.
Guests staying longer than 4 days are responsible for changing and washing their own towels and sheets. We will restock toilet paper and paper towel on request.

You are set back at the back of the property by yourself, tucked up next and among the trees. Private, but not totally secluded. you are literally in our back yard, safe but just enough out of the way to be quiet. You have your own parking and deck for your enjoyment. You will be able to come and go as you please. You will have a key to lock door.

Because we are still employed at building houses we will be coming and going a lot. My husband will try to make as little noise as he can. If you are riding a motorcycle to our property, our drive is concrete, and parking. Please note that this is a small space that can be a tight squeeze for some or not suitable for really tall, or large people. There is a two person limit because of limit on treatment plant for property. Also this is a really small unit and only suitable for two people. Also there are three steps up to deck.

You will need a car to travel far, but can find what you need in the area in walking distance.

This is an older, but well maintained unit. Also, being in the woods of East Texas, sometimes a critter has been known to show itself when the weather changes. There are regular sprays and cleanings on the property. On occasion, you can hear the pipes when water has been used. I don't notice it anymore, but it should be noted.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay without the distractions of electronics (unless you bring your own). You would be staying at a 3 bed 2 bath house (with a jacuzzi in the master bathroom) in the country just 3 miles from lake Nacogdoches. You could park your boat in the yard at night, and be at the lake in the morning less than 5 minutes from leaving the yard. This is a quiet peaceful neighborhood 11 miles from Nacogdoches, and 6 miles to the blinking light in Douglass.

The space
The master bedroom (cream walls) has a queen size bed, and room for an air mattress you can request if needed. There is an attached master bathroom with 2 sinks, a jacuzzi tub, a walk in shower with a shower seat, and a toilet. Beside the master bedroom is the laundry room, then the kitchen, living room, and main entrance. On the other side of the house you have the second bedroom (tan walls with wood trim) that has an xl twin with a trundle twin size bed underneath. The third room (blue walls) has a day bed twin size bed with a trundle twin size bed underneath. In the living room there are 2 couches that lay down flat, the black one could sleep 2, the tan futon could sleep 1 comfortably. If needed for small kids- I have multiple pack n plays that could be requested as well as cots, or sleeping bags for bigger children. Just let us know what you need!

You would be renting the entire house with private parking in the front yard. There is a circle drive with ample parking for whatever you choose to drive. (The biggest thing we have had parked out there was a huge 40 ft bus, but they had to park on the road, if you are driving something longer than 40 ft, please let us know prior to your arrival so we can get permission to park it along the road) to get inside the house there is a front porch that has stairs up the front, and a ramp along the side of the house for easier access. Once you get on the front porch, there is a small step inside the house (I’d estimate 4in step, will go measure and update) once you get in the house, everything is on the same level with the only wheelchair issues being two 1/2 in thresholds. If you have specific questions about accessibility, please let us know and we will do what we can to accommodate. We understand how difficult it is to travel with medical equipment.

Other things to note
There are not any tv’s or electronics installed at this location. WiFi and cell phone boosters are set up permanently, and support 4G and 5G capabilities. The WiFi is based from star-link, so if the weather is unordinary bad, you may notice a few seconds interruption every now and then, but is one of the best options for out in the country like this house is.
Please also note that the neighbors have chickens and roosters, and you may hear a rooster crow every now and then. There are window units installed that do a great job of drowning out that noise if you do not wish to hear it. The neighbors across the road have cows and you may also occasionally hear a cow- but I’ve had to be outside to hear the cows- I don’t think I’ve ever heard them from inside the house.

Kick back and relax in this cozy, stylish space or on the roomy front porch surrounded with large trees. It is in a peaceful neighborhood just outside the city limits. It's well-stocked with everything you could need including high-speed internet. It has super quick access to all restaurants / shopping & other city amenities. If you need a date that is blocked / longer or a shorter stay - just ask. We sometimes block dates for repeat guests and friends that may change.

This is a tiny home with a porch - it has a bedroom space that is open to the kitchen and a seperate bathroom/laundry space.

The driveway is a shared space. One parking space is provided for this home directly in front of the walkway. If another parking space is needed - please use the street in front of the homes. The new bbq grill is also a shared item in the backyard / side yard area.

A little heaven , tucked away at the back of 3 acres at back of our property. Cal and Carolyns little efficiency apt stays booked almost year round. Exceptionally clean and has every thing you need for a short weekend or an extended stay. Eff has full size kitchen and washer and dryer. It has two seating areas outside, one is covered and one under the stars and ambience lights around firepit. There is two grills provided, one gas and one charcoal to suit you. This apt has code pad entrance

The space
Fully equipped Eff. apartment with kitchen, laundry area and sitting area. Queen sized bed with memory foam mattress for your comfort. Has covered parking and outside covered sitting area. It is a in laws quarters in the back of a metal building on 2.4 acres. Quiet and secluded. We are motorcycle friendly and can give you a list of great rides in and around the Pineywoods.
The kitchen is ready for all your cooking needs and there is ample towels and toiletries for you. There is digital tv and wifi. We do ask you cook foods that are aromatic on the gas burner outside. We do not provide breakfast but there will be coffee and condiments . I do on occasion try to fix a small loaf of breakfast bread as a compliment.
Guests staying longer than 4 days are responsible for washing their own towels and sheets. We will restock toilet paper and paper towels on request.

Guest access
It is a separate apt at the back of our property with covered parking . We welcome you to sit at the outdoor firepit when weather is cooler or under the covered area at patio table. We have a code panel door system so I will give you the code to let yourself in after you book on the day of arrival. You are free to walk about the property and enjoy nature and our hard work at our flowerbeds.

Other things to note
We can also arrange any other things for special occasions if you need us too. Such as flowers, reservations at nice restaurant , or supplies for a romantic meal. Just let me know and I will try to make it happen if possible .
You do understand this is not a permanent rental and as such can be ask to leave if there is a problem without notice. We reserve the right to change lock on door and remove your items if you are ask to leave and do no comply. This is for our protection and your information. Thanks
