SECLUDED, Yet just 10 minutes away from First Monday Trade Days, this "PLEASANT PLACE" Getaway is peaceful, charming, and completely surrounded by nature. This lovely 2 bedroom / loft / 2 bathroom home is completely furnished with linens, towels, and a full kitchen with a gas stove top and double ovens.
Bedroom #1 has a kingsize, fully organic mattress for a healthy nights sleep.
Bedroom #2 has a queen Murphy bed (pulls down from wall).
The downstairs 1 1/2 bathroom opens into the king bedroom and also into the hallway.

Upstairs, there is a loft (access via stairs, not a ladder), with a pillow top queen bed and a full bathroom.
The loft overlooks the kitchen / living area, with beautiful outdoor views.
There are 2 queen sleeper sofas in the living room. One is a Haverty's memory foam and the other is a Haverty's standard sleeper with upgraded mattress.

You are welcome to try fishing in our pond but it is not stocked. There are small perch and we have occasionally caught catfish.
Sorry, NO swimming (water activities) allowed and NO using of pedalboat or kayaks.

Our house is also on this property, approximately 100 yards from Pleasant Place Getaway. There is also a "visual" block (storage building) in between the 2 houses for your privacy.
This property is a wonderful family atmosphere. :-)

King Country Lake is located on a 10 acre lake with a 2000 sq ft cabin. There are 3 bedrooms, 3 baths and a loft playroom with twin beds.

We are located 13 miles east of Canton's World Famous Trade Days and just five minutes from the art community of Edom which offers a variety of shops and restaurants. Blue Moon Nursery is close, and Ben Wheeler is 10 miles west and has great food, music and dancing .

Tyler, which is near by, is the Rose Capital of the world. Caldwell Zoo is also located here along with the Historical Aviation Memorial Museum. Exciting NY TX Zip Line adventure is only a 30 min drive.

The cabin is a country retreat on 35 acres. Visitors can enjoy fishing, swimming, hiking, canoeing and paddle boating on the property.

Our family of 8 couples and 2 small children enjoyed the large living room, multiple dining areas and your spacious outdoor living. The two porches and deck had lots of seating area. The pool was bigger than we thought it would be and the one year old had a blast “swimming” from person to person. We took several trips into town (10 mins away) to enjoy the dining, shopping, and the Pony Expresso coffee house. There was a farmers market on Saturday to explore and the Kneady Woman bakery was delicious. We took walks, ran, and strolled the baby to see the horses and goats down the road, played pickle ball in town and went to the city lake for a stroll, next time we will bring our fishing rods. Everything was provided at the house including towels at the pool. We will not hesitate to rent again. Thanks for a great week!"

*The downstairs queen bedroom #2 sleeps two in a queen bed, and shares a bath with Queen Bedroom #1.
*Upstairs King Suite #2 has a king bed, a wall loft twin with ladder access, and a queen window bed. The room has a private bathroom with combo tub/shower.
*Upstairs Bunk Room sleeps 4-6 on two twin over twin bunk beds and a futon. It does not have a private bathroom, and must share with king suite 2 or 3.
*Upstairs King Suite #3 has a king bed, a ladder-accessible wall loft twin, and a queen window bed, as well as a private bath with tub and shower combo.

The Great Room is a wonderful space to gather and chat, or play games or poker on the game table. There is also a checker/chess table in the Great Room, and a third game table for board game fun. There is a chest that holds a great selection of board games and card games, as well as pool towels for your use.

KITCHEN:
The warm kitchen and dining room space flow together in a wonderful gathering space. The dining table can seat 16 on the family benches surrounding it. There are 7 barstools at the breakfast bar for dining overflow or space for the kids to enjoy breakfast or meals.

LAUNDRY:
There is a laundry room for your use, and detergent and dryer sheets are provided as well as stain remover and a selection of cleaning supplies should you need them. An iron and ironing board are also in the laundry room.

POOL/YARD
The outdoor space begs you to come out and play! The resort pool is wonderful on a hot summer day. Although the pool is not heated, the hot tub is available for use year-round! There is a great selection of outdoor yard games like Cornhole, Giant Jenga, and Ping Pong.

POND
There is a pond on the property, and cattle that enjoy that space. You are free to wet a hook, but please be CERTAIN to close the gate and latch the chain if you go to the pond.

Guest Access:

Guest parking is to the right and left side yards and the concrete garage approach.
Host parking is to the left side lane toward the back of the house. Please do not block.

Guests may access the main house, with access through the front door, not the garage.

There is no garage access, and there is no access to the workshop in the pool building, as these spaces are used for storage and equipment.

Guests may access the back yard south side yard, and pool area. Beyond the north privacy fence is the property host area. We ask that guests not access the north side of the property beyond the privacy fence. Host, if present, will give guests complete privacy, but will be available in case of question or emergency.

Guests may have access to the pond, but watch for our country critters that say ssssssssss----< - there are cattle that have access to the pond area, so if you access it, it is imperative that you close and fasten the gate.

Interaction with Guests: There will be no personal guest interaction, unless requested by the guest.

The host may be available, based on scheduling.

There are separate private host/owners quarters attached to the garage of the cabin. If the host is on property, this is where she will stay. It has it's own private entrance. For this reason, please do not park in the lane next to the concrete garage approach (lane is marked), as this is the lane to the back of the host quarters, as well as private host camping area.

PET POLICY
1) Guests must notify The Log Cabin of intent to bring a pet. There is a maximum of two pets allowed.
2) At Least 3 days before arrival, provide weight, breed, and general description of pet.
3) “Aggressive breeds” are not allowed per insurance: Pit Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Terriers, Jack Russell Terriers, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Presa Carnarios, Chow Chows, Doberman Pinschers, Akitas, Wolf-hybrids, Mastiffs, Cane Corsos, Great Danes, Alaskan Malalutes, Siberian Huskies.
4) Cats, pigs, or undesirable/dangerous pets are not allowed.
5) Provide proof of vaccination.
6) Pets must be treated for fleas/ticks before arrival.
7) Pets must be crated if left unattended.
8) Scoop poop. We don’t want anything left behind for the next guest.
9) Pets are not allowed on furniture.
10) Pets must be on a leash outside. They are not allowed to run free. There are cattle in the pasture, and it’s entirely possible for a dog to get excited and run after the cattle.

Security Cameras:
There are seven security cameras on the outside of the house for security only, not surveillance. This property is our homestead, and the cameras are installed for our personal use and security. They are NOT MONITORED or WATCHED during guest stays. The cameras are on the corners of the house. There are NO INTERIOR CAMERAS. Again, WE DO NOT WATCH OR ACCESS CAMERAS DURING GUEST STAYS.

This space with the 4 twin beds is part of our continued expansion of Elken Retreat - completed in 2020- connected by the roof, but behind our home. 3 large bedrooms with 3 bathrooms (walk in showers) and a large gathering space with commercial kitchen and half bath. One bedroom has a Serta icomfort (so comfy) King bed and sofa sleeper. Two bedrooms have 4 twin beds (also comfy Serta icomfort beds with high end bedding!)... All rooms have extra space to add a roll in Serta rolling bed for another person. Also available is our King bedroom (attached to our home; separate from this space, but on same property).

This space was started as a rental in October of 2018...because it was going well for us and our guests;), we have now expanded. In 2020, we completed a brand new addition to ElKen Retreat. Connected by the roof, but behind our home, we added 3 large bedrooms with 3 bathrooms (walk in showers) and a large gathering space with commercial kitchen and half bath. One bedroom has a Serta icomfort (so comfy) King bed and sofa sleeper. Two bedrooms have 4 twin beds (also comfy Serta icomfort beds with high end bedding!)... All rooms have extra space to add a roll in Serta cot for another person.

Sweet Happy Place Suite is a very comfortable, spacious and private 530 sq ft master suite in our home. This master suite is part of our home, situated at the end of the home, with a separate, private entrance. The master suite is separated from the rest of the house by a hallway and is completely sound proof. There is a comfy king size bed with a fully organic mattress. Also, there is an oversize chair that opens into a twin size bed. There is a keurig with organic K cups, microwave and a mini fridge all available in the privacy of the bedroom. The bathroom is very large with a jetted, two person tub, as well as a beautiful, large, walk in shower. The toilet is in a separate room within the bathroom. There is a sitting area and a breakfast table with 3 chairs all in the bedroom.
Enjoy your coffee on the porch with beautiful views, peace and quiet. We will respect your privacy or visit with you as you like.

Enjoy a private old west town that sleeps 22 people with 5 unique buildings connected by a western boardwalk. Each suite has its own private bath and modern amenities. Included is a Bank with a king suite and living room with a sleeper sofa. A Jail with a king suite and two queens in a jail cell. A Saloon with a pool table, poker and shuffleboard. The Saloon also includes a full kitchen, laundry, and outhouse on the lower floor. The upper bunkroom has four queen bunks and a full bathroom. The General Store has a king suite and living room with a sleeper sofa. The stocked front Store area has shelves full of snacks, produce and toiletries. The Theater is ready for your favorite movie on an 85 inch smart TV. The front of the Theater is where you will find the popcorn machine as well as video games and a private bathroom. Parties and celebrations are allowed for paying guests.

Each building brings you back to the Old West. Once inside you will be greeted by western decor in the front and modern suites in the back. No need for everyone to sleep under one roof. Spread out among the 5 suites, and everyone can meet up in the Saloon together or watch a movie in the Theater.

For outdoor activities, enjoy the large waterhole (40x40 ft pool) and the large hot tub on the deck. The O.K Corral has an outdoor kitchen with two grills, one smoker and a flatiron grill. Plenty of seating to watch the game or cozy up to the outdoor fireplace.
Very strong Wi-Fi surrounds the town so you will never be disconnected.

Located out in the country in East Texas on a 75 acre ranch, the town is on a private 10 acre track of the larger ranch. Not too far from modern amenities, but far enough out to see bright stars at night and enjoy peace and quiet. There is a lot to do in the area, but why would you leave your own town that has it all?!

Welcome to the Strawberry House, a charming cabin offered by @CantonGetaways in Canton, Texas. Located just a short walk from First Monday Trade Days, the cabin offers a fantastic patio & all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay.

Even if you're not visiting for First Monday, the Strawberry House is a great destination for a peaceful getaway any time of year. Spend the day at nearby Yesterland Farm & enjoy all the charms of Canton. Make the Strawberry House your next memorable getaway.

Our adorable one-room cabin is located on The Mountain at the Old Mill Marketplace in Canton, TX. It's tiny but mighty! While it's only one room, we have enough space to accommodate up to 5 people.

The cabin is furnished with a queen-sized bed and a twin-sized bunk bed. (We'll let you draw straws to decide who gets the top bunk!) There is also a twin-sized trundle under the bunk bed. The optimal amount of guests would be 1-4 people, but we can definitely fit 5 if you're willing to squeeze! Please keep in mind, it's a small one-room cabin. So if space and privacy are important to you, this may not be the best fit.

We don't have a kitchen, but we have the super important stuff! We have a mini-fridge, a microwave, plates, utensils, and last but certainly not least, a Keurig with plenty of free coffee! Seriously, unless you are some sort of cooking wizard, you're not doing much besides some oatmeal for breakfast or warming up leftovers.

The rest of the room includes a nice sized table and a smart TV. We are BYOS (Bring Your Own Streaming). You can log into Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, and more on the TV or casting from your phone. We do not have cable.

In terms of amenities, we've got you covered too! You'll have access to small yet important things like towels, soap, napkins, coffee, water, oxygen, etc.

You will have access to the entire cabin, and some common areas around the cabin.

For most of the year, you can enjoy a contactless check-in experience at the Strawberry House. We'll provide all the information you need to show up and start enjoying your weekend.

During First Monday weekends, the roads around the property will be closed, and you'll need to park in the main parking lot at Old Mill Marketplace. A free parking pass is included with your stay, which you'll need to get from the toll attendant. To get to the Strawberry House, you can either walk uphill or take advantage of our free taxi service, which will pick you up in a golf cart and take you anywhere you need on the property. Keep in mind that the walk uphill to the Strawberry House may not be suitable for everyone, and many guests choose to use the taxi service for convenience.

The Strawberry House is located in the Old Mill Marketplace, surrounded by other cabins and shops. During First Monday weekends, the area is lively and within walking distance to places to eat, shop, and more.

If you visit at any other time of the year, the property is very quiet and peaceful - a great destination for a quiet getaway. While the shops and dining options on the Old Mill Marketplace property may not be open, you're only a short drive away from year-round shopping and dining options in downtown Canton.

First Monday Weekends are where things get really fun! We are only a 10-15 minute walk from First Monday Trade Days. The Old Mill Marketplace and The Mountain come alive also! There is shopping, dinning, and live music, and Strawberry House is located right in the middle of all the action.

On First Monday Weekends, The Mountain is closed to all car traffic, so you will not be able to park your vehicle at the cabin, but you will be allowed to park your car in the main parking lot on the property. We have a mini taxi service that you are free to use all weekend, and we provide 1 Free Parking Pass.

Please note that there is limited access to the surrounding area, the owner’s main home, garages and anything beyond a gate or fence, these areas are entirely off limits to tenants. Please do not feed, pester, attempt to engage or harm the animals on the property. There are dogs, horses, geese, ducks, donkeys, goats and cattle as this is ranch property, though still remaining quiet and secluded from town.

We do not recommend swimming in the pond.

- "Best hosts ever! Beautiful property, extremely safe, not too far from stores if you need something but once you are there you are in a beautiful oasis all to yourself. Cabin is clean, new, filled with everything needed…and there is a massage chair that was the icing on the cake. Minutes from first Monday flea market at Canton, but escape to the perfect quiet once you are done with the crowd. Don’t hesitate to stay here!" - "My wife and I stayed here for a few days and used it as a launching pad to visit Canton (Trade Days), Tyler, and several other fun little East Texas towns. Canton is only about 10 minutes away. The cabin is fairly new and very nice, perfect for a couple. There are lots of amazing things about the property: it is on a little farm with donkeys, horses, geese, goats, and a couple of super friendly dogs (including a pug which is always fun!). The pond is scenic and has a dock right by the cabin. For entertainment the TV works well and has built-in apps for Amazon, Netflix, etc., and we were able to stream Amazon just fine (technically it is through the DVD / BluRay player, which by the way they also had a nice movie library of 40 to 50 titles, so even for rainy days there is some entertainment!). The kitchen is very well stocked and has everything you need. The queen bed (upstairs - just be aware) is quite comfy. The things to be aware of and in the spirit of sharing our full experience, the check-in process was a little bumpy but the host was incredibly responsive which is what is most important and got us checked in with a giant stack of clean towels and bedding, which was awesome. The cabin had two air conditioner units; one worked great and was fine for our needs, but the other is being repaired (in the peak of summer it will come in handy, but during our stay it was fine as-is). Also there was a sink faucet slow leak in the bathroom which also has parts ordered per the owners; probably will be fixed before anyone even reads this review. Only other suggestions for owners could be to add a couple of towel hooks, and maybe consider some additional curtains for the windows as they are fairly open (but there are window treatments that offer privacy from the main house which is about 100 feet away). The owners were super respectful of our privacy (which was our desire - basically to unplug and unwind), but the owner is also a highly certified yoga instructor and offers additional services which lots of folks would enjoy (and is not pushy whatsoever, just made us aware if we had any interest). In summary, this is a great little cabin to stay in and the couple of minor hiccups with the property we saw are in the process of being addressed and so I would confidently give this the thumbs-up for future visitors who want a nice getaway in this vicinity!"

Our adorable one-bedroom cabin is located on The Mountain at the Old Mill Marketplace in Canton, TX. It's tiny but mighty! While it's only one bedroom, we have enough space to accommodate up to 4 people.

The cabin is furnished with a queen-sized bed, a twin-sized day bed, and a twin-sized trundle bed. (We'll let you draw straws to decide who gets what!) The optimal amount of guests would be 1-4 people, but we can definitely fit 5 if you're willing to squeeze, we have a 2-seat couch that is perfect for a child or an adult with low standards! Please keep in mind, it's a small one-bedroom cabin. So if space and privacy are important to you, this may not be the best fit.

We do have a mini-kitchen that you can do very basic cooking in. We have a mini-fridge, a microwave, plates, utensils, and coffee. Seriously, unless you are some sort of cooking wizard, you're not doing much besides some oatmeal for breakfast or warming up leftovers.

We have a nice sized Smart TV in the living room. We are BYOS (Bring Your Own Streaming). You can log into Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, and more on the TV or casting from your phone. We do not have cable.

In terms of amenities, we've got you covered too! You'll have access to small yet important things like towels, soap, napkins, coffee, water, oxygen, etc.

You will have access to the entire cabin, and some common areas around the cabin.

For most of the year, you can enjoy a contactless check-in experience at Lonesome Dove. We'll provide all the information you need to show up and start enjoying your weekend.

During First Monday weekends, the roads around the property will be closed, and you'll need to park in the main parking lot at Old Mill Marketplace. A free parking pass is included with your stay, which you'll need to get from the toll attendant. To get to Lonesome Dove, you can either walk uphill or take advantage of our free taxi service, which will pick you up in a golf cart and take you anywhere you need on the property. Keep in mind that the walk uphill to Lonesome Dove may not be suitable for everyone, and many guests choose to use the taxi service for convenience.

Lonesome Dove is located in the Old Mill Marketplace, surrounded by other cabins and shops. During First Monday weekends, the area is lively and within walking distance to places to eat, shop, and more.

If you visit at any other time of the year, the property is very quiet and peaceful - a great destination for a quiet getaway. While the shops and dining options on the Old Mill Marketplace property may not be open, you're only a short drive away from downtown Canton's year-round shopping and dining options.

- "So quiet and peaceful! I spent a couple days away just for myself and it was everything I needed and more. I will definitely stay here again in the future! " - "This place met our needs. You need to know it is very rustic It’s at the very top of the mountain. Too far for us to walk. They did provide someone with a golf cart to take us up and bring us back down. Just call and she was there in a few minutes. It was cold when we arrived. It has plug in heaters. It took a little while to warm up. The owners and vendors are trying very hard to bring back the mountain after COVID. There used to be a restaurant at the top that had music. Would have been nice not to have to go back to town to eat. Owner was easy to work with and everyone was very friendly. We will return and hope they continue to grow and be successful."

There are 2 cabins that share a beautiful wrap around porch which overlooks the property. Each cabin can sleep 4 ( 1 queen downstairs and 2 long twins in each loft). The loft overlooks the living room and is approx 5’ tall. Both cabins can be rented together for a larger party. Each have kitchens and full bath with walk in shower. Tall, vaulted ceilings. Faux electric fireplace. DIRECTV & Roku as well as internet. The Lucky Buck is approx 600 sq ft.

Exterior~There is a stone, seating area in the woods that is lite up with strung lights. In the center is a fire pit with wood.
Depending on the time of year, there are outdoor games (Giant Jenga & Corn Hole Toss) and hammocks.

Guest access~There are two cabins that are connected by a huge wraparound porch. That area is a communal area. Each cabin has its separate entrance. There is also a fire pit located up in the trees with lights that come on each evening, relaxing chairs, and sometimes we put out the hammock. That is also a communal area.

Other things to note~While we are a completely fenced property, some of the farm animals (guineas, chickens) might fly over the fence but will go back. They are so much fun to watch! We do supply earplugs and sound machines in each room if you do not want to hear the sounds of nature.

I like for my guests to feel at home. It is Self-checkin. Your room has cable TV and Netflix, queen size bed, mini-fridge, microwave, egg poacher, toaster oven, can opener and coffee bar with Kcup coffee brewer, large bathroom shower only and wifi. Affords you a peaceful-serene atmosphere yet minutes from activities. You are welcome to bring snacks and drinks.

During your stay
Guest check themselves in. There is not a meet and greet, however; I am hospitable yet totally respect guests privacy. I am sociable and totally available if you want to chat or need anything.

Other things to note
Quiet and peaceful and can be in town within minutes for dining. Trade Days, antique shops and more. Restaurants in downtown Canton, I-20 and outskirts of town. Last I checked LaPradara, Jalapeño Tree, Sonic, Dairy Queen, Applebees and Chicken Express were open.

The space
This room is located in a replica of an 1880s old west town known as "The Mountain" as part of the world-famous First Monday Trade Days Flea Market. During Trade Days you can enjoy the shopping and dining opportunities on "The Mountain" and stroll over to additional shopping in the pavilions. Within walking distance, there is evening shopping, entertainment, and food until 9 PM.

Guests CAN park their vehicles (no trailers) next to their Frontier Suite front door. The road is a bit bumpy - it's a frontier town after all!

Welcome to the Acorn Hideaway Storybook Lodge! This charming lodge features five self-contained mini-suites, each with its own private entrance and outdoor seating on a shared, long porch. The porch is accessible via five steps leading up from the parking area.

The "Bedford Falls" suite is located in the center of the lodge, between the "Neverland" and "Baker Street" suites.

Your suite offers a private entrance with a key provided at check-in. For late arrivals, we offer self-check-in arrangements upon request.

You'll have access to one parking space near your suite at no additional fee depending on your vehicle's size. If you have a larger truck, there’s an oversized parking area just a short walk away, visible from your suite. We do have remote parking for additional vehicles at a low cost of $5/night.

As the property owner, I manage this building and several others nearby. Upon arrival, you'll receive a map of the area, which includes a walking loop you’re welcome to explore, along with our large shared outdoor deck that seats up to 80 guests. Please respect neighboring properties, as they are privately owned.

Disclaimer: I lease the land and they maintain the roads, which are shared with other property owners. While I do my best to handle some major potholes near my buildings, minor bumps are part of the authentic East Texas rural experience!

Welcome to the Acorn Hideaway Storybook Lodge! This charming lodge features five self-contained mini-suites, each with its own private entrance and outdoor seating on a shared, long porch. The porch is accessible via five steps leading up from the parking area.

The "Neverland" suite is located second from the left of the lodge, between two other suites.

Your suite offers a private entrance with a key provided at check-in. For late arrivals, we offer self-check-in arrangements upon request.

You'll have access to one parking space near your suite at no additional fee depending on your vehicle's size. If you have a larger truck, there’s an oversized parking area just a short walk away, visible from your suite. We do have remote parking for additional vehicles at a low cost of $5/night.

As the property owner, I manage this building and several others nearby. Upon arrival, you'll receive a map of the area, which includes a walking loop you’re welcome to explore, along with our large shared outdoor deck that seats up to 80 guests. Please respect neighboring properties, as they are privately owned.

Worth metro, this getaway cabin features multiple decks and porches for taking in nature, plus a forest-view hot tub for romantic soaks.

All the joys of camping, without the setup hassles... and with a much better night's sleep! The cabin is stocked with everything from linens to cookware and HVAC!

The space
In addition to a lofted bedroom with a queen bed, there's also a pullout sofa in the living area for two more guests—perfect for a small family getaway. Cook simple meals at home thanks to the stove, microwave and a fridge. We stocked the cabinets with all the dishes and utensils you need.

Relaxing in nature is the name of the game! There's an upstairs balcony (just off the bedroom), a front porch, an enclosed sunroom, a pair of heavenly gliding swings in the backyard, and a hammock between the trees that's amazing for afternoon naps. A backyard fire pit is perfect for s'mores and stargazing.

A vacation here is a true getaway; We recently added WIFI for those travelers desiring a quiet place to work. However, we understand some guests may want to disconnect completely and we highly recommend this. The living room TV has an antenna and a DVD player and there is A/C for warm days and a gas fireplace for cool nights.

This cabin has been in our family for 40+ years, and we loved it too much to part with it! We're glad to be able to keep it in the family and share it with the next generation.

Just minutes from First Mondays (the world's largest flea market), yet so tucked away on its 8 acres you won't see another soul near the cabin! Utter seclusion is yours here.

The sliding bathroom door is a pre-Civil war relic from a family home in Alabama. Great for a small family (sofa is a sleeper). There is a two drawer game trunk stocked with games in the first drawer and room for personal items in the second. Small, cozy porch for morning coffee.

In addition to the comforts of your capsule home, you're invited to explore the vast common areas spread across our 400-acre estate. Welcome to the Krazy Kalf cabin-unique lodging in a beautiful, East Texas forest. Rich in history on the old Dallas-Shreveport Rd, the relaxed vibe will take you away from the hustle & bustle!This serene, enchanted cabin is your perfect getaway for romance or shopping at 1st Monday in Canton. The decor is artsy and bright. Come sip on a cup of coffee or glass wine on the beautiful wrap around porch. Listen to the water cascade on the pond and enjoy farm fresh eggs daily.

The space
“WOW” is how guests describe the place. “It is more beautiful and serene in person!” The property is private and gated. There are 2 cabins that share a beautiful wrap around porch over looking the land but are completely private cabins. The Krazy Kalf is fun & artsy yet extremely cozy! It has bright art work/paintings, faux skin rugs and the coolest 5’ loft with 2 more twin beds. It is considered a Tiny House (approx 400 sf) but it feels larger with the vaulted ceiling and upstairs loft. The downstairs bedroom has a queen size memory foam bed, full length mirror and large closet. Directv & Roku on mounted tv, small faux fireplace in a cozy living area. The small kitchenette has old fashioned designed appliances, mini refrigerator, coffee pot and griddle as well as a microwave. The tiled shower has sliding glass doors and a seat. Well lite with beautiful decor and basic toiletries. The outdoor seating on the wrap around porch overlooks the land and pond. There is a bistro table, patio furniture and rocking chairs to sip coffee or glass of wine. The wrap around patio is shared by an adjoined cabin. (see The Lucky Buck cabin for more details). Great for larger parties and both can be booked together (If available).

There is a stone, seating area in the woods. In the center is a fire pit~ (we supply firewood & s’mores) and it is beautifully lite up with strung lights. Depending on the time of year, we put out a hammock or 2 and there is a Giant Jenna and corn hole toss.

Other things to note
The land and trees are breathtaking but with that we sometimes encounter pesky critters or as we say in Texas-“varmints!” While we work extremely hard to keep critters away, please be prepared for nature. We don’t refund for bugs or critters unless we fail to provide a timely resolution. We are just a call or text away.

Also the beautiful land and terrain can be hilly and uneven. Tennis shoes or boots are highly recommended! No fishing allowed and please do not venture past the gates. Our feathered friends will want to go home with you.

Hummingbird is a spacious 1 Bedroom cabin with separate living and kitchen areas. It features handicap access, a full kitchen, washer/dryer and a full bath. Bedroom and living space are connected also by a large deck under the trees.

After a long day of shopping come and relax in this recently renovated space, 3 miles from Trade Days. It is a private unit and does not share anything with the main house. The entrance opens to a large, air-conditioned hotel style room. The room has a full-size bed and can accommodate 2 extra guests with 2 roll away twin beds. Complimentary coffee, microwave, refrigerator, Wi-Fi and Smart TV. There is an outside sitting area to enjoy your coffee or a glass of wine, at the end of the day.

The space
We are a small 5 acre working ranch, where we raise Nigerian Dwarf Goats. You may be greeted by our two donkeys (Eddy & Murphy ) and our horse (Candy).

This recently renovated space is a private unit and does not share anything with the main house. The private entrance opens to a large, air-conditioned hotel style room with a private bathroom. The room has a full-size bed and can accommodate 2 extra guests by adding 2 rollaway twin beds. You’ll have everything you need to make yourself comfortable. Complimentary coffee, microwave, refrigerator, Wi-Fi and Smart TV. There is an outside sitting area to enjoy your coffee or a glass of wine, at the end of the day.

Parking is available very close to the unit and we can accommodate other parking depending on your needs.

Guest access
There is a small pond with some fish, so we ask that you practice catch and release, so future guests can enjoy fishing as well. The goats are very friendly and like to be fed. We do ask that you talk to the owner before doing so. Larger animals are friendly, but stand offish so they will be in their own pasture.
