Our ranch is located approximately 8 miles north of Weatherford, Texas. The guest house is 600 square feet offering clean, comfortable accommodations for a single traveler or a couple.

The guest house is located near another rental and has a large porch, swimming pool, hot tub, fire pit and pellet grill. The porch is the perfect space for relaxing with a book and enjoying nature.

The guest house is fully furnished with heat/air, large TVs in the living room and bedroom, free wifi, mini fridge, air fryer/toaster oven, microwave and drip coffee maker. There are lots of windows with beautiful views of the ranch and cattle. The bedroom has a king size bed with nice linens and ceiling fan. The kitchen is equipped with a 2-burner cooktop, air fryer/toaster oven and everything needed to cook small meals and grill. The guest house has a clean bathroom with a modern full glass shower and fresh towels.

(No smoking is allowed inside the house and all guests use the pool at their own risk.)

The ranch is a beautiful setting with 2 ponds and 130 acres. There are also free-range chickens and a rescue horse. We are 30 miles from Fort Worth and Granbury, 15 miles from Springtown and 50 miles from Glen Rose. We are less than 10 minutes from historic Weatherford which offers many shops, antiques, restaurants and wineries nearby.

We do allow a pet under 30 pounds but must be approved in advance. Since we have free range chickens, a pet must be leashed when outside. We do not allow a pet to be left alone in the house, so if you leave, you will need to take with you or crate. The pool has a liner so no pet is allowed in the swimming pool.

Charming renovated dairy barn with amazing pastoral views. The Barn has been lovingly renovated and has lots of family history. Our family began their dairy here in 1929. The Barn is located 8 miles north of Weatherford (Parker County).

This unique house exudes character and is furnished with every modern convenience. The Barn is a place where you will immediately feel at home, and by the time you leave, you'll feel you've made some new and treasured friends. It's a peaceful get-away where you can get in tune with the sounds of nature ... listen for the sounds of coyotes, wild turkey, birds, free-range chickens, lots of momma cows with their babies and rescue horses.

The house is 800 square feet offering clean, comfortable accommodations for a single traveler or a couple. We can also accommodate 1-2 children, but this will need to be approved in advance.

The Barn is located near the Farmhouse and another small guest house. It has a large porch, swimming pool, hot tub, outdoor wood burning fireplace, and pellet BBQ grill. Spend a weekend or more on a cliff high above the Brazos River in the North Texas Hill Country of Palo Pinto County. A stone stairway cuts through giant boulders down to the river and several fishing spots, plus kayak and canoe launch points. Enjoy a large barbecue grill (charcoal) and views of the sunset and river from a covered pavilion. There is a heated pool (heated March to October) and hot tub that overlooks the river, amongst ancient live oaks and a regulation horseshoe pit. For the adventurous, there's also a primitive cabin (no power, no plumbing). Just 90 minutes from North Dallas and less than an hour to Fort Worth, yet you will feel you are a thousand miles away. Welcome to the Brazos de Dios.

Inside, (if you ever come in from the views) you will find one full-size, one queen and four bunk beds, plus a sleeper sofa (sleeps one, maybe two little ones) in the family room. In the family room, you will find a pool table and fireplace. Ideally, this place is for two couples and kids. Maximum 8. It is not ideal for packing in 8 grown men to save money. Do that and you'll be way more cozy and way less comfy than you may like, plus we're on a septic system that's not made for that. . Just sayin'.

Full disclosure: cell coverage can be spotty inside the house but outside it's fine. I do not provide Wi-Fi. Wireless hotspots are recommended for internet access and generally work quite well.
