Bonnie and John are the owners of the property. They were extremely welcoming, very friendly and chatty, and frankly a joy to deal with. Our cottage was spotless clean, neat and tidy, comfortable and simply but tastefully decorated. It had a more than serviceable kitchen with gas hotplate, microwave, fridge, sink, etc. There was only limited mobile coverage, but frankly we liked it that way. What really made this place stand out for us were the thoughtful little extra touches, like an espresso coffee pot with complimentary good-quality freshly ground coffee, a milk frothing jug for cappuccinos etc, as well as a lovely wecoming box of Roses chocolates. Everything was spotlessly clean, everything worked perfectly and the beds were in very good condition and extremely comfortable to sleep in. You'll need to bring bottled water to drink, as the cottage draws its water from a well - but this is no big deal. Best of all were the gorgeous views over hills and valleys available from our front verandah, the peace and quiet of a rural setting, the lovely farm animals, and the magnificent starscape overhead (we were fortunate enough to stay during the new moon on a perfectly cloudless evening). We all felt very warm, welcome and comfortable there, and cannot recommend the place highly enough. If simple, quiet, peaceful and comfortable accommodation is your thing, and you love to stay in remote rural settings away from crowds of people, then these lovely little farm-stay cottages may be right up your alley. Highly recommended!"
