We live close by from lake Nydala and there are also nice walking paths in the forest on just 2 min walking distance.

We can recommend visiting the moose farm Älgens Hus in Bjurholm (70 km drive), going for a walk by the stream just 10 min away and maybe catch some fish. Enjoy the purity of Swedish nature while enjoying your stay with us.

My room is situated by a calm street near the river. It has a fully ecquipted kitchen, bathroom and big laundry room downstairs. I have free wi-fi and a bike to use. It's near to city center and it takes 15 min. by bike to uni. Garden to sit in.

We are a family renting out rooms in our basement. You rent a bedroom of 8 square meters with a 140 cm wide bed, and have access to a simple kitchen, toilet, and bathroom with shower, bathtub and sauna. The kitchen has a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, stove, oven, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, waste sorting, and a basic range of kitchen utensils in general.

There is a private basement entrance with a tag to the door so you can come and go as you please.

In the fall of 2025, we will organize dance classes in the basement on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 6-9 pm. The course participants will then use the toilet, kitchen and living room. The fall semester starts in September.

For individual nights, it is possible to rent an extra room with a 90.96 cm wide bed. (Bedroom 2 in the floor plan.)

We are open people and enjoy having company both from Airbnb guests and friends and family. You are welcome to join us in the evenings or just hang out in your room, feel free.

Other things to note
We have a 1 and a 5 year old Child and you have to be ok with kids around. Including early mornings! They are both happy, great children and bring a lot of joy into the house. You are welcome to join our household during your stay in umeå and we’ll make you feel welcome :)

We live in a house from 1792. The house is like 2.5 km from the city center. Walking paths and bus stop when the home.
