This cabin offers a peaceful riverside location, a spacious yard, and a private sauna — the perfect escape from everyday life without unnecessary frills. A cozy and practical 60 m² cabin located about 77 km east of Oulu, by the Utosjoki River in Sanginkylä village. The center of Utajärvi municipality is about 18 km away.

The cabin features a living room, open-plan kitchen, and one bedroom with two 80 cm wide beds, plus a sofa bed (140 cm) in the living room. The bathroom has an electric sauna, and there is also a separate WC.

Built in 2000 and renovated in 2016, the cabin includes a covered terrace that provides shelter from the rain and a large yard with plenty of space to relax and enjoy outdoor activities.

The cabin is situated on the banks of the Utosjoki River, with a pier about 30 meters from the terrace. Access to the pier is via a steep riverbank slope, so caution is required when descending. The river bottom is soft sand and deepens quickly, so children should be carefully supervised. Guests have access to a rowing boat (please remember to pull it ashore after use) and an outdoor storage.

Valkeinen Recreation Area is about 8 km away and offers a swimming beach, trampoline, and swings for children, a campfire site with a lean-to, and on certain summer days, a kiosk selling fishing permits (for rainbow trout and whitefish) and renting SUP boards and rowing boats.

The 18-hole Frisbee golf course near central Utajärvi (Siiransaari area) is 18 km away. In June, the UntoRock festival is held at the Utajärvi Ice Hall, about 18.5 km away. Oulujokilaakso Golf in Muhos is 42 km away.

Cozy basement in a private home for color lovers and/or color blind. 0 effort have been made for color co-ordination. Which is kinda the point for this particular space. The outlook may chance when lovely things are found from second hand shops. My basement is warm (electronic fireplace available) and equipped with 1 single bed, sofa and a table. The space can accomodate 2 if sleeping on the sofa or on a mattress is okay. Warm and cozy bed guaranteed! Also a porch for summer morning coffees.

The space
Home of a somewhat busy working woman, so there are no cleaning nor cooking services available. Living normal home life where everything is not spotless clean but of course tidy as it should be. There is a small shopping mall just near by with few restaurants and shops. You are naturally welcome to use the fridge for your groceries.

I am able to provide you a bicycle for you to use. Just let me know before your arrival. There is a washing machine available and going out for walks with Pena the dog would be a nice help for me if you are into dogs :).

Oulu area offers you entertainment in many various forms including shopping malls, spa, lovely beaches, big movie theater, city theatre and outdoor theatre, concert hall, outdoor festivals, escape rooms, kite surfing, climbing, indoor karting races, Megazone laser battles, mountain biking and in wintertime also skiing, downhill skiing and skating. Many nightclubs, too. Feel free to ask for more information!

And when you get hungry the closest grocery store is located only a few minutes walk from the house nand for more choices there is a big supermarket 1,5km away. You can use the kitchen to make your own food or, if you want, you can also join us for a dinner for a small fee of 10€ to have the best Chinese food you have ever tasted!

For fast food there’s a pizzeria and Hesburger at nearby supermarket. Around 2km away you can also get classic grill food from Järvigrilli. If those options are not your choice I’d recommend trying out various restaurants in the city center since they are easy to access anyway. We have been in most of them with my wife so you know who to ask from if you need recommendations, whether you are looking for a fine dining restaurant, something special or local, top quality pizza or burger place, any ethnic restaurant or something else! And same with coffee shops! Or just explore yourself since choices are plenty.

I just love this seascape from the windows. There is no traffic or houses immediately facing the park and bike path. There are many houses, but this is just in the right spot, so that the sea is visible between them, not widely, but enough to bring happiness.

The apartment is suitable for one or two business or pleasure travelers, and one person for long-term living.

The space is a studio type room with a kitchenette and a bathroom at the end. The kitchenette has an induction stove, microwave, refrigerator, and freezer compartment. There is no dishwasher and oven. The floor is white matted oak parquet.
