It would have been handy to get a pdf of the check-in and check-out process upon confirmation of the booking which we've received with previous trips."

Next to the property is a large farm - which has a great store with fresh, local foods open on Thu-Sat. The area is very safe and friendly. Parking is free. Highways are easy to reach. The B&B is on the waterfront in an historic building in the center of Utrecht. With all the bustling going on in the streets above, here you find peace and quietness. The spacious one-room apartment allows you to eat, drink, sleep, work and relax in an artsy atmosphere.

The front of the room has a settee and a large dining table. There's a television, cd-player, free Wifi. In the middle there are 3 beds and at the back of the room you find facilities for making tea or coffee. The quay, only accessible by foot or bicycle, is right in front of the house.
The streets above offer bakeries, grocery stores, museums (Centraal Museum, Universiteitsmuseum, Catharijneconvent), the cinema (Louis Hartlooper Complex). All within 3 minutes walking distance. Walk to the centre along the Oudegracht and you'll find vintage stores, boutiques, historic buildings café's, bars, restaurants, water sports activities and all the modern shops.

- "Everything about this property was perfect. Check in and check out were very easy and we had very clear instructions with photos. The host was kind enough to clean the unit and change the bedding half way through our two week stay. Being able to open the doors right out to the canal is truly a unique experience. We happened to be staying there the weekend that the Sinterklaas parade came down the canal, which was an absolutely magical. The unit itself is cozy and has everything you need for your stay. The hosts even provided snacks and breakfast for our first morning, which was a welcome surprise. The bed is two twin beds pushed together and is very comfortable. The space is tranquil, and houses lots of books for you to peruse. Our oversized dining table is perfect for dining together, and we have many little comforts to make your stay a pleasure.

Guests have a reserved parking space, and the peace of mind knowing that we are nearby.

This boutique-style 2 floor apartment with private entrance offers plenty of space directly on the bustling 'Oudegracht' in the historic city center of Utrecht. The space is close to all the beautiful museums, good restaurants and cafes. The apartment is a loft on the third floor with a very comfy bed. One floor lower has a small separate 2nd bedroom for 2 people. The apartment has recently been renovated and has a fully equipped kitchen and a new stylish bathroom with shower and bath.

The Space:
The apartment is a second floor loft with a large open space with a 140x200 cm sized bed on one side and the sitting area and table on the other side and lots of space in between. One floor lower provides a small separate 2nd bedroom with a same sized bed for 2 people. The apartment has recently been renovated and has a fully equipped kitchen and a new stylish bathroom with shower and bath with water jets. The equipment in the apartment is mostly new. The apartment has its own entrance, behind which two steep stairs lead to the loft.
The toilet is located on a different floor than the bedroom.

Guest Access:
The apartment is fully yours, you will have access to a small bedroom on the second floor and the full 3rd floor.

• Climb the Dom tower, the biggest tower in the Netherlands It’s a 8 minute walk / 2 mins bike ride. To climb the tower you need to book a tour in advance.

• Visit the largest castle in the Netherlands; Kasteel De Haar about 30 car-minutes or 40 bike-minutes away.

To visit De Haar Castle, whether to admire its park, its rich history, the exhibitions, gardens, deer or for a wedding, is to be immersed in a different world. Behind every door, every detail, every flower in its colorful gardens is a story. A story about earlier times, different cultures and interesting characters. De Haar is the largest castle in the Netherlands, once the private residence of the Van Zuylen family, whose descendants still stay here yearly. In the last century, the castle also frequently hosted members of the international jet-set with their lavish lifestyle; from Coco Chanel to Roger Moore, they too left their mark on the sumptuous rooms of the most opulent spot in Utrecht.

Artists of all times push boundaries and search for new horizons. For example, artists from Utrecht moved to Italy in the seventeenth century. There they were inspired by the landscape and their Italian contemporaries. Once back in Utrecht, they introduced a new painting style: vast landscapes with an Italian-Mediterranean light reminiscent of a sweltering summer day.

In the exhibition On the horizon, we depart from the time of the Italianates to tell a story about how contemporary artists and makers view the journey through the landscape today. It is about the experience of the landscape, about traveling with a clear goal or about the so-called wanderlust; traveling without a destination in mind. It's about inspiration and whether you find it close to home or far away. The journey through the landscape is still an important theme, a source of inspiration, but not only idealized images are created. Themes such as forced migration and climate crisis are also visible in the landscape.

On the horizon is the first in a new series of summer exhibitions at the Centraal Museum. The exhibition offers surprising combinations and responds to current events. As for nice eateries; if you have young children, 'Mister Smakers' is a nice hamburger restaurant a 5-minute walk away. We are very pleased with it.
'Terroir' (French cuisine) Madeleine (bistro), both good and a bit more expensive; otherwise Ruby Rose (shared dining) Carmel market (Israeli shared dining) San Siro (Italian food) all within a 10 minute walk. Opposite of us is ‘Het Oude Pothuis’; good for a drink but other places offer better food like restaurant 273; very good but also expensive and also opposite us just like toko Pedis, delicious Indonesian takeaway restaurant. The best option is to find a ParkBee location by downloading an app called ‘ParkBee’ . The closest ParkBee location is a 3 minutes walk away and costs €4,68 per hour of €30,12,7 per day on the Lange Nieuwstraat 119. It is often fully booked But ParkBee has more locations close by.

Close by is the Springweg parking garage, which is €6,97 per hour of €69,70 per day at a 5-minute walk.

There is also ‘parkeergarage Vaartsche Rijn’ in 13 minutes walking distance for which is €3,50 per hour of €35 per 24 hours. Evening ticket 7:00 PM - 0:00 AM is €8,73.

Since one may not need a car for Utrecht and parts of the Netherlands. Parking the car further away for free and taking a tram back may also be an option. Park somewhere around the ‘Trumanlaan’ in Utrecht. Take the Tram on the ‘Beneluxlaan’ towards ‘Science Park’ and get of at ‘Centraal Station’ (a 11 minute ride) and walk 20 minutes from there. To visit De Haar Castle, whether to admire its park, its rich history, the exhibitions, gardens, deer or for a wedding, is to be immersed in a different world. Behind every door, every detail, every flower in its colorful gardens is a story. A story about earlier times, different cultures and interesting characters. De Haar is the largest castle in the Netherlands, once the private residence of the Van Zuylen family, whose descendants still stay here yearly. In the last century, the castle also frequently hosted members of the international jet-set with their lavish lifestyle; from Coco Chanel to Roger Moore, they too left their mark on the sumptuous rooms of the most opulent spot in Utrecht.

Artists of all times push boundaries and search for new horizons. For example, artists from Utrecht moved to Italy in the seventeenth century. Once back in Utrecht, they introduced a new painting style: vast landscapes with an Italian-Mediterranean light reminiscent of a sweltering summer day.

In the exhibition On the horizon, we depart from the time of the Italianates to tell a story about how contemporary artists and makers view the journey through the landscape today. It is about the experience of the landscape, about traveling with a clear goal or about the so-called wanderlust; traveling without a destination in mind. It's about inspiration and whether you find it close to home or far away. The journey through the landscape is still an important theme, a source of inspiration, but not only idealized images are created. Themes such as forced migration and climate crisis are also visible in the landscape.

On the horizon is the first in a new series of summer exhibitions at the Centraal Museum. The exhibition offers surprising combinations and responds to current events. In 1924 Truus Schröder asks the well-known Utrecht furniture designer Gerrit Rietveld if he would like to design her new home. As for nice eateries; if you have young children, 'Mister Smakers' is a nice hamburger restaurant a 5-minute walk away. We are very pleased with it.
'Terroir' (French cuisine) Madeleine (bistro), both good and a bit more expensive; otherwise Ruby Rose (shared dining) Carmel market (Israeli shared dining) San Siro (Italian food) all within a 10 minute walk. Opposite of us is ‘Het Oude Pothuis’; good for a drink but other places offer better food like restaurant 273; very good but also expensive and also opposite us just like toko Pedis, delicious Indonesian takeaway restaurant. 1. For the east entrance, navigate to Nijverheidskade 13, this is the parking area behind the Esso gas station. Here you can park on the left on the waterfront past the fence of the Astrimex company. (Please do not drive or walk through their gate, they do not appreciate this and there is no access to the boats from their property.) Right next to this fence you will find a small staircase to the dock. Walk along it until you reach the boats.

Sometimes there are guys hanging out in the parking lot and this may seem shady, but we have always easily lived past each other.

2. For the west entrance, navigate to Loggerstraat 2, this is the last street between this neighborhood and a large canal. Park somewhere around here. From here, walk north along the Keulsekade to a large blue bridge. Just before this bridge there is a small staircase on the right to the dock. Walk along it until you reach the boats.

The space
Via a small path from the dock, you get access to your own space. This studio apartment has a loft bed with two single mattresses, separate duvets and pillows. The apartment has a private bathroom and a lounge/dining area complete with canal views and a hammock so you can make the most of your adventure.

The listing has recently been upgraded to include a fireplace for heating, allowing you to have control over how warm you would like the space. We have equipped each room with its own fridge and Nespresso machine so that guests can still enjoy the small luxury of a freshly brewed coffee, tea or hot chocolate during their stay.

Although Loenen is very close to Amsterdam and Utrecht, we are in the green and public transport is organised as in all suburbs: 2 x an hour during daytime. One 1 per hour at night. After this one very hour untill 0.00. Over the weekend only once every hour. In Loenen kids play all over the village, also in this street you sometimes hear them.Parking always at the parkinglot please.

Another misunderstanding is that everybody in Holland uses canabis in and around home. This is absolutely untrue. In my place and garden there is a NO DRUGS policy of any kind. If drugs is part of your objective here in Holland. Please book another place.

Loenen is a village between Amsterdam and Utrecht. The bus connection with Amsterdam (Bijlmer station) and Utrecht (120) runs twice an hour on weekdays until 11 a.m. in the center of Loenen near Jumbo. In the weekends, public transport starts at 9 a.m. to midnight and the bus runs once an hour.

By car you go off at the A2 exit Vinkeveen-Hilversum. In 4 minutes you are at Cronenburgh, the golf course and the studio.

The apartment consist of a 30m2 space with kitchen and separate bathroom and a 25m2 second space with a sloping roof for guests. The second space is located above the first space. You enter this space with the stairs, see photo. You can close the space with the shutter for privacy (there is also a lock).

When I am hosting, the second space is all yours (I sleep below, in the studio). In your space you will find a fridge, Nespresso, large bed, lazy chair, headphone, bluetooth speaker, a place to store clothes/stuff, a convector heater and small fan.

The room is spacious and has windows looking out on the front yard below street level. This makes the house private and quiet in the middle of a busy street. The house is close to Utrecht Central station and city centre. The room is very comfortable, so have a seat and get a cup of coffee or tea that you can prepare in the room. My place is the perfect getaway to be close to all the benefits of the beautiful city Utrecht. At the end of the day you can come home to your cozy and comfortable room.

The bedroom is spacious enough to be used as a living room at the same time. This offers privacy for the guests. There are facilities to prepare a cup of tea or coffee in the morning at your room, and there is also a small fridge to store your food and drinks. Our house was build in 1948. It's a very traditional Dutch house in a peaceful green area with peaceful neighbors. It is very quite area, in the morning you can hear birds singing, no cars or crowds, an ideal place for rest. The room is located on the first floor, in 2018 totally renovated, everything new and clean. In the room you can find small kitchen corner with all what is needed, kettle, microwave oven, induction plate, dishes etc. We also provide you with towels, shower gel, hairdryer, so, you don't need to take it with you in the suitcase and you can take more dutch cheese as a gift for your friends and family at home. Shower and toilet shared with one more airbnb room (max 2 person) We live in an attic above and have all facilities for us own, what gives you some privacy. Shower and toilet are cleaned daily. We live in the same house and we like to be in a clean space, so, you can be sure that you'll have not a messy stay.

Two lovely rooms in a quiet area. Relax and unwind in this lovely living room. Have a nice coffee or tea. The bedroom has blackout curtains for a wonderful deep sleep.

Go for a walk outside to the water lake, here you can swim, canoe or walk around the nature reserve. Within 10 minutes you can reach Utrecht-Centrum by train. Parking at my place is free, there is enough room. In consultation, you can use a bicycle.
