Food on site is decent but we were happy to have brought our own snacks to supplement. COVID procedures were great yet didn’t feel restrictive. Everyone seemed to be doing their part to social distance. Overall great time." - "Great get away in a gorgeous spot with lots of beautiful roads for cycling" - "Arrived one hour before checkin time and our room was ready! Large, nice room. Went to the restaurant and enjoyed a nice outdoor table overlooking the water. Enjoyed a great happy hour . Peel and eat prawns and two beer samplers featuring local breweries-only $16.00 plus tax!!! - "We enjoyed playing around on the farm picking blackberries and finding slugs. We appreciated the tips to secret beaches and preserves along with the sustainable salmon fishing practices. Quickly adapted that slower island pace allowing us to be more present with the ones we love." - "We spent three nights in the Farmhouse Suite at Nettles and loved every minute of it. The views from Sunset Beach are spectacular, so we spent a fair bit of time there. The hike at Baker Preserve was a highlight of our time on Lummi as well. Mostly, though, we just read books on the porch and took advantage of the kitchen and outdoor grill to make good meals."

- "The view and comfort of the place was amazing! There was a bad smell upon entering though but at least it didn't permeate into the bedrooms. Also everything seemed to close at 8 despite saying it would be open until 11. The bar next door even stayed open for quite a while after telling us they did last call and they wouldn't serve us. The price was right though and the amenities were amazing." - "The accommodations were excellent. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. We would like to come again."

- "I was a little concerned because this is a time share property offered through VRBO, didn't know if I would be treated differently not being a time share member. There was NO PPROBLEM at all, had early check in, room was immaculate, bed was super comfy, kitchen well equipped. Hot tub and pool clean and inviting. Is off season so not at all crowded. Check in folks were professional and friendly." - "The place was beautiful and it was nice to be able to fix our own food. Some of our party spent time in the water kayaking which they enjoyed. I would definitely stay again. This was well taken care of and we felt safe even in the midst of the COVID pandemic. The only thing that bothered us was the property wanting us to do a presentation which we have been through in the past."

- "We had a very cozy stay. It was a beautiful room and the staff was very nice as well." - "Our stay was short but enjoyable. With all new flooring, cupboards, appliances, fresh paint and new furnishings this has a fresh feel to the space. The foam mattress on the Murphy Bed was adequate. We did not use the internet and felt the $4.95/day access charge was a bit much. Any hotel/motel offers free internet. The location is great, right along the beach, and a short walk to the Beach House where we looked out at the beach as we ate a delicious breakfast. The owners and resort staff responded quickly to any request. Since we chose not to attend the time share presentation we did not hear about the amenities that would be available to owners and guests."

- "Love the location only less than was check in. My host had given me a upgraded room with a new reservation number and when I asked about why we were not in the upgraded room the front desk gal said the owner “lied” to me about the upgrade and canceled the reservation for one room instead of the studio. Happy with our studio room, it was just the delivery of the first impression. Rest of the trip was great." - "While the unit was nicely updated and clean and comfortable, the online listing stayed The room had a Mountain View; the only windows in the unit faced a solid wall about 10 feet away, straight into a neighboring unit, with very little natural light coming in. There was a lot of noise audible from both inside and outside of the building. Amenities and comfort of the unit were not enough to make up for the downside of the time share atmosphere which I now know is not to my liking."

- "Birch Bay is beautiful and we loved watching the sunset, sunrise, and the tides coming in and out. The property was clean and updated and the beds were comfortable. The amenities were all closed due to covid. The pool and hot tub are closed until August or Sept for repairs. The property has shovels and buckets for clam digging. They also have balls, frisbees, and croquet to check out. It was a blast." - "Our weekend was for 6 people to meet and read a report rogether and it proved to be a great rainy weekend to do it. The apartment was a beautiful place to meet. Great living space to sit in for 3 days together. I must say the dishwasher is broken and we had to have the front desk help us with the icemaker. There was also some kind of motor or blower running outside our bedroom windows all night long. The wifi is not included in the amenities of our stay and we would have to pay separately for this. These days you can hardly call it a "resort" if wifi is not included. Our group wants to meet again next year to read the same Conference report and we would still choose this location in February to meet again. There is room here for 3 more people next year."

- "It was a piece of cake booking this place. So easy for a couple of old people. Thanks so much" - "From the moment that we walked in, The resort had a fresh feeling. With this being a time share resort we were never pressured into any of that, instead they made sure we had an awesome experience. The Condo was Large and inviting with just a touch of ruggedness as not to feel to girly. Having 3 rooms with the exact amount of beds was a huge surprise and a complete bonus. The Kitchen was well stocked with flat ware and plates and glasses, which is why we stayed in the first place. It was like we picked up our house and moved for the weekend. Thank you so much for such a great place... We will be back."

- "We came to the area for a training and the resort the training was at was sold out so we stayed at the Sandcastle. The room was nice. It had a big kitchen, large living room with a fireplace, and a big bedroom with a king bed. The service at the Sandcastle was AMAZING. Seriously the best service I think I've ever had at a hotel. They were so personable and helpful. I highly recommend!!"

- "Accommodations were super clean, nicely furnished and we had all we needed! Pricing was good too! Disappointing that the concierge kept asking us to attend a meeting to hear about time-share. Offering us gifts to attend. We said no. Then they asked again the next day and really pressured us. Almost had to get stern to get them to back off (conversation was way too long for having said no). This is the 2nd time we have stayed there. They put us in a room above the kitchen/restaurant. Fans loud and ran all night long. Workers smoked outside (just below window) and we could smell the smoke in the room. Oher than that - it’s a great place."
