- "TradeWinds is a beautiful place to stay. My whole family loved it and didn’t want to go home. Everything is great there!" - "Beautiful beach, lots to do. Plenty of entertainment for kids. But the thought of other little kids staying in this environment turns my stomach so I feel the need to warn other families spending a lot of money to give their families a beautiful vacation. After doing some digging I found out that the Sirata was sold in December 2022 and since then has took a serious nosedive. We were booked with the Breckinridge at The Tradewinds when notified two weeks before we were leaving that they needed to repair the building from hurricane Ian and we were moved to the Sirata. We weren’t left with a choice and we’re forced to stay here. We walked in to a huge COCKROACH scurrying across the floor. Our kids were hysterical and scared. The room was dirty and moldy. No managers were available or ever followed up with us. we had to call every day to try and get someone to clean our room or give us towels. We searched for other hotels but being it was February recess they were all booked. We had to spend hours of our vacation calling VRBO and other places to get money back and the very least. Many of the staff at Sirata said they are new and don’t know what to do. Some seasoned staff said since being bought things have declined and they hear part of the hotel is going to be demolished and rebuilt in to a Marriott. Either way do not stay at the Sirata."

- "Great family resort! Awesome room!" - "The property is nice but crowded. People put their pool towels on the chairs really early to save them and kept them there all day. The mattress in 3602(the bed closest to the window) is broken down and needs replaced. There is literally a huge hole in the bed. There was no balcony which I wasn't a fan of. The fridge and microwave in the room was nice. There was plenty of parking which was nice. There were a lot of activities for the kids."

- "Fun property for all ages. Kids had lots to due. However, we booked for a week and had to move unexpectedly midweek due to error in 3rd party booking. We did get one room back, but disaster moving 9 people. Room we were going into wasn't ready. Tradewinds wasn't helpful as they kept telling us it was a BlueGreen Resort issues. Offered us ice cream vouchers for the kids that expired on the same day, so we never could use them. We basically had to waste one entire day in the middle of vacation moving rooms. Beyond that, was a great place."

Friendliest resort we have ever visited. Beat the Freezing weather with a walk onto St. Petersburg beach. Since it's on the Beach there's no need to pack a sandwich for lunch, just walk back to the room it's so close. Great place to be in the Winter. Comfortable, clean and plenty to do. The beach is close and lounge chairs; while limited, are free. Kitchen has full Fridge, stove, microwave and oven. Stocked with plenty of cooking utensils and service for 6. Beds (1 Queen, 2 Twins and a Pull out) are comfortable and clean. We have multiple units and go every year. It is such a luxury to be in the Sun with bathing suits on while our Friends are back home shoveling snow. With GREAT Restaurants everywhere, shopping or just simply hiking/biking there is plenty to do. Take your Bikes and /or your clubs (public Courses are nearby). Temperature is very pleasant and mild during the January time period. There is a Hot tub and a pool.
There are Grills available as well. Note: Parking is limited only 1 car is allowed per unit. Will only rent for a week(no more/no less) Saturday to Saturday only! No partial bookings. You are responsible for any damages while staying in our unit.
