I would certainly recommend staying at this hotel if you don’t mind the 20 minute gondola ride into town. That’s surroundings are beautiful though, and you can do a lot of hiking from the area. "

- "You can’t beat The Madeline. It is centrally located in Mountain Village. The rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped for a family vacation. Our family of 5 vacationed here over Christmas. We utilized the ski valet on the first floor for true walk out skiing. The concierge and guest services team go out of their way to ensure your stay is perfect. The heated pool, hot tubs, steam rooms and Spa are all wonderful amenities. Ice skating, shopping and a multitude of restaurants are within walking distance as well as the Gondola (free) that will take you to downtown. Everything is in walking distance from this property."
