Newly built 6-bedroom private lakehouse on a secluded road with a private inlet and your own sandy beach. Bright cottage with easy access to large lawn for games, beach with a shallow walk-in area for kids. Enjoy outdoor fires or the spacious deck for relaxing. There are six bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. There are enough beds to comfortably sleep up to 16 people. There are 4 bedrooms on the second floor, two with private bathrooms and two with a shared bathroom. The master has a king bed and a twin day bed and a private ensuite with bath and shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a full private ensuite. The third & fourth bedrooms have queen beds (one with one bed another with two) and share a full bathroom. The space boasts large windows for plenty of natural sunlight and a scenic view of the lake, especially during sunrise. We also offer a spacious interior, well-stocked kitchen and a serene lakefront backyard.

Spring/Summer/Fall
We are located on Pigeon Lake, part of the Trent-Severn Waterway . Pigeon Lake is a favourite destination for fishing (especially Bass and Walleye). The water is the clearest in the spring and grows lots of vegetation during the summer months ideal for fishing. There is a close marina for boat launches and the quaint town of Bobcaygeon (12 mins away) for all your needs.
The lake bottom is soft mud. Guests can inquire about the availability of local beaches for a sandy beach experience.

Welcome to the Kawarthas! Come and enjoy the stunning views and the sun drenched docks on Nogies Creek. Just under 2 hours from Toronto, the cottage is about 10 minutes drive from the historic town of Bobcaygeon, 15 minutes from Buckhorn and a short boat ride to Pigeon Lake.
The water is ideal for all day kayaking, fishing or for a refreshing dip. The outdoors boast ample space for entertaining including a fire pit, a mosquito hut, dining area and the docks. The lakeside has a fabulous resort quality to it. The water entry is clear, shallow with sand and rocks. The yard is flat, making it ideal for many activities. The grounds are professionally landscaped with beautiful hastas, hydrangeas, ferns, lavender. There are 2 tables with umbrellas for comfortable seating for 8-10 people. There are also 6 lounge chairs on the patio. The hottub* is a true showstopper. It's rustic and cedar with room for four . The new weber grill is on wheels so you can bbq from anywhere. For those rainy days there is a screened in porch ideal for lounging any time of day during any weather. Nap on the couch, drink your coffee with a lake view. The fire pit is ready for use with wood provided.

Modern 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom Lakehouse on Sturgeon Lake in popular Bobcaygeon. Enjoy the sunrises and sunsets dockside or on the large lakehouse patio. The resortlike property has a shoreline great for swimming, watersports and fishing. Short walk to shops, restaurants, Lock 32, a beach, public parks and boat lauches. The entire lakehouse is newly renovated and boasts open concept living/dining/kitchen with amazing views of the lake.
The space
This place has it all. The resort like property on Sturgeon Lake nestled in a quiet court right in the town of Bobcaygeon. The property is large and has ample parking for at least 6 vehicles. Downtown is just a short walk through the new Bobcaygeon Beach Park. In town you can enjoy shopping, dining, marinas, boat and water toy rentals and all that Bobcaygeon has to offer.
The Lakehouse is a bungalow that has been newly renovated top to bottom. It is tastefully decorated with luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout and ceramic tile in each of the 3 bathrooms. All bedrooms are on the main level.
The large gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need.
Just outside is the Bbq area on the large concrete patio. The patio area has an outdoor dining space and relaxing sitting area. The lakeside area has a large deck and 32' dock.
The water is clear and great for swimming, perfect for younger children. There are two kayaks and several outdoor lawn games available.

- "No complaints. Bring your own beach towels and marshmallows. " - "Location was great but the cottage was so minimal it was uncomfortable. Nothing said “cozy” about this cottage. The bedding and linens were minimal (bedsheet too small, 1 thin blanket, no extra pillows, ultra thin towels, no dish cloths). The bathroom was very tiny and unappealing. The double bed was very hard and had a lot of dirt and spiders beside and under. No room for any comfortable chair or couch for relaxing. The kitchen area, with the stove jutting almost in front of the sink, was so tiny it was difficult to do any cooking. Coffee maker was a 2-cup unit. Dish soap was so watered down we had to use 1/4 of the bottle just to get suds. Overall, we were very glad to leave."

Other things to note
Please note there are two security cameras at the property on the outside of the building. One door bell camera facing at the entrance and one at the back of the property facing the open area by the dock. Neither of the cameras have recording capabilities and are only for security reasons. There are no other cameras inside or outside the property.

Please note that the fireplace is not operational and we don’t provide firewood.

The pet damages fee would $250, so please make sure that the pets are leashed within the house as well and not left on their own.

All the guests are advised to take the garbage and dispose of it at the nearest transfer station. We'll share the location in the check-in instructions. Leaving the garbage behind will incur an additional penalty of $200.

A maximum of 5 cars is allowed on the property. All vehicles must be parked on the driveway only — no street parking, no blocking other areas.

We are a very unique family resort in the heart of the Kawartha Lakes. Trail's End Lodge offers a variety of accommodation from small to multi-family.

The space
Our cottage is only a 10-minute drive from Bobcaygeon. It sits on 3 acres of land with 280 feet of waterfront and includes six rental cottages located on the north side of Pigeon Lake. Trail’s End Lodge is a small resort with over 60 years of history in the cottage rental business.

Each cottage is equipped with hot and cold running water, beds, various kitchen utensils, and tableware. Every cottage also comes with its own BBQ grill, and natural gas is provided.

We offer fishing boat rentals and sightseeing boat tours—including passing through the locks.
kayaks, canoes, tubing, water slides, and other water activities are free.

If you wish to bring your own boat, we also provide dock space. Our dock can accommodate up to 8 boats.

About the Water:
We do not recommend drinking the tap water directly. It’s safe once boiled. We suggest using bottled water for drinking.

If you plan to swim in the lake, please bring your own water shoes to protect your feet from rocks or shells on the lakebed.

Our tiny cabins are nestled in the trees on a well beaten path.

In the cooler seasons, this cabin is heated with a small propane wall mounted furnace.

It is also solar powered for light, has potable water, with copper sink and rechargeable tap. The outhouse approx 30 steps away and shared for both, and is equipped with a composting toilet, mirror, waste basket and hand sanitizer.

It is important to note that due to the location, WiFi is not available and cell service can be slow and spotty at times.

Kayak, canoe and life jacket rentals are available for rent. Also available for booking; private or couples reiki, yoga and or sound bathing sessions in the Yoga Yurt (on site).

The Lakeland Loft is situated on a peaceful one acre property with over 200 feet of shore line and surrounded by forest and walking trails. This property is minutes from the Bobcaygeon Lock by road or boat. The loft is located on the second story of a self contained building and has a private entrance. The Loft has been totally renovated for use by guests and has everything you will need for a comfortable stay. There is a dock for guest use. A public boat launch is about 5 minutes away.

There is lots of room to relax inside or out. We have designed the space to be primarily used by one or two persons for a nice quiet getaway spot.

Our 225 square foot, timber frame, off-grid cabin is a nature lover's delight. Perched over Nogies Creek and surrounded by trees, it reminds you of the importance of slowing down and unplugging. It's a simple, beautiful setting with creature comforts and great views. We built this cabin by hand and we hope you enjoy the magic here as much as we do!

The cabin is truly off-grid which means no electricity, no wifi, no running water and limited cell phone connectivity :)

The space
The tiny cabin is modern and bright, with 14 foot ceilings and huge windows overlooking Nogies creek. The inside features custom carpentry, timber-frame style with a steel ladder to the sleeping loft with a comfy queen bed. We've kept the colours and design to be natural and calming.

The cabin can be considered an off-grid glamping experience! We do not have running water, electricity or wifi - we provide a water jug, lanterns and a place to unplug. The bathroom is a basic outhouse :) please ensure you are comfortable with this prior to booking! Cellphone service is also limited (we like it that way!)

We have a canoe for you to enjoy during your stay - Nogies Creek is a lovely, quiet waterway to paddle. The water stays nice and cool through the hot summer months, and is deep and refreshing for swimming. We've also fished off the dock with great success! The cabin is mostly shaded and stays cool. Bugs tend to be worst May - June, but are around all summer (hello nature, bring bugspray!)

This place is very special, and deserves to be treated as so :) we ask guests to keep music to a minimum (so you can hear the loons) and do not allow fireworks as we are surrounded by trees and wildlife.

**the stairs to the loft is a steep ladder so please come ready and able to climb!

**There is no electricity here, but we do provide battery-solar operated lights. There is no running water but we have provided a water jug for drinking, dishes, toothbrushing, etc.!

**Bug Season is anytime between mid May - end of June (although there will be insects all summer, this is the height of it. Please consider this before booking your stay in the spring season.)

Step back in time to our 1875 Victorian manor located in the picturesque Village of Bobcaygeon. Five minute walk to town with restaurants, Lock 32, museum, Settler's Village, shopping & the famous Bigley Shoe store. Ice cream right from the Kawartha Dairy factory is almost mandatory. We have a 70 foot dock for you to moor if you plan to come by boat on the Trent.

The space
The Venice Room has a 4 piece ensuite and has a queen size bed with luxurious bathrobes. An upper level lounge with games, books and a private space for you to read overlooks the beautiful rippling waters in front. The home does not have central air conditioning, but the bedroom has a portable air conditioning unit to keep our guests comfortable.

We are a traditional Bed and Breakfast. We do not have televisions in the room, but we have hi-speed interest for your own devices. We serve breakfast between 8:00 and 10:00. A time and menu will be discussed upon your arrival.

Guest access
Guests can enjoy use of our kayaks or just go for a swim from our private dock. Cozy covered front porch overlooking bay. BBQ's, picnic tables, beach towels are available. Bicycle rentals in town.

There is a fridge for our guests use. There is no provision for cooking and our kitchen is for our family use only. We can provide you with plates and cutlery. We prefer no eating in your room.

Dogs must be leashed at all times outside the temporary fenced area. Dogs should not be left unattended inside or outside. Damage done by your dog is your responsibility.

Absolutely NO PARTIES and/or FIREWORKS are allowed on the property. This is to protect our neighbor's pets and the local wildlife.

Please keep all noise levels at a minimum as we are located in a quiet neighborhood that noise can easily travel. Quiet hours 10pm to 9am.

While you can enjoy the creek to cool off. It is important to know that we don't monitor the water quality there and that with it being a creek there are aquatic weeds in areas. There are several beaches in the area that we can recommend. If you do use the creek please know that it is shallow so no diving from the dock.

Garbage and Recycling must be taken home with you as we do not have garbage pickup. If you leave garbage behind without arranging with us ahead of check out a fee of $50 may apply.

Guess have access to the kilometers of hiking trails on 150acres of forest. Spend time with our small alpaca herd or equine herd. This is not an experience listing. You may see different ranch chores being done and can have an opportunity to learn from those working with the animals.

Bring your own horse and enjoy the paddocks, new stalls for turn in and ride our equine trail system. Equine services available for additional cost.

The On suite is located at the ground level of a two story home. The unit above is occupied by the host but offers you full privacy with a separate entrance on the opposite side from the main house door.

The outdoor accessible area is a dining table and chairs right outside of the unit but no access to the fenced off backyard, however here are plenty of beaches, parks and hiking trails close by for sun tanning, swimming or fishing.

Other things to note
This home is located across the street from the lake which means it does not have direct lake access. There is a boat slip and marina directly across as well as another boat ramp close by that has access for swimming putting in boats, kayaks etc.
