Our house is very close to Los Llanos de Aridane, on the west side of the island: Sol, in a large plot of approx. 3000 sqm. The view of the sea can be had from almost anywhere. Also from the inside of the house, so that the windows look like pictures. The city of Los Llanos is easily accessible on foot (approx. 20 minutes). Nevertheless, the location and surroundings are calm and rural. A supermarket and a bus stop are also within easy walking distance. The beach of Puerto Naos in 15 minutes by car, and that of Tazacorte in 10. Depending on the season, there is fruit to harvest in the garden. (Avocados, oranges, papaya, crapfrut, bananas ... and many herbs for self-sufficiency in the kitchen. When it came to furnishing the house, we thought of everything, and if there was anything missing, we will get it. The bed linen and towels are provided and changed. A washing machine use is possible. A wireless internet connection is in the house.
The house SOL also has a heating option if the sun does not come out on the few somewhat colder days in spring and the house cannot naturally heat up during the day. But the altitude of about 380 m above sea level hardly makes it necessary. Heating A: a mobile gas heater for quick heating, and heating B: an electric radiator with 2600 watts
On the style of the house: The construction of this house is based on that of the old Canarian houses. This means a wooden roof construction over every room (with the exception of the kitchen). The transition from inside to outside is flowing through the different terrace doors. The view of the sea is almost everywhere, z. B. from the sofa or from the bed. The garden is a somewhat naturally overgrown plant with many native plants, but still has to be watered, at least in summer. About the island and its 2 cities: The island of La Palma is so diverse and different, it is like a small continent. The east side is dominated by the lake climate, and is rainier and more cloudy. The west side has a more continental climate with larger temperature differences, and more sun. The vegetation is very different. The south is more like the island of Lanzarote with its volcanoes (some still active and hot) and lava fields. The north is the dense rainforest with huge trees. La Palma is the only Canary Island that has a constantly flowing body of water. (In the Baranco: Las Angustias, in the Caldera de Taburiente) The almond tree culture used to be very important, now it's the bananas. The climate is super tropical and very different depending on the altitude, (the small island rises to 2400m) Santa Cruz de la Palma is a very historic city, in which families from all over the world settled over the centuries.
Another house of ours is very close, but completely separate. This house can also be viewed at apartment, under object no. 7 7 4 0 5 9. Both houses have a large distance of approx. 45 m to each other, separate entrances and are completely separate without eye contact and out of earshot. Both houses have Internet via WiFi connection.

Everything matched the description given by the owner. The location of this house is perfect to discover the central and southern part of La Palma, and still very quiet. On the large terrace, we had 1 spot for aperitif, and another for breakfast. There is a shop nearby, and a cheap and excellent grocery shop on arrival on the main road from the house. We hiked a lot, and you can find bus or taxi easily to return to the place where you left your car. Nice hikes are the Caldeira Taburiente, and the Volcano route. It is easy to go for dinner in Los Llanos, or on the main road to El Paso, but also Puerto de Tazacorte has some very nice restaurants.you also find a nice beach there. I would recommend this house to anyone who likes to stay in a quiet environment, with good comfort, nice views. And on this side if the island the weather is much better than on the east coast."

The Casa LoRu is located on the edge of the 'Caldera de Taburiente' above the town of Los Llanos with direct views of the sea and the beach of Tazacorte. (about 8-10 minutes drive from the beach). The house has upstairs a spacious living-dining area with terrace (sea view), and an open fully equipped modern kitchen with stove, oven, Delonghi coffee machine and dishwasher. A stereo B & O, plasma TV and Wi-Fi are of course. Air conditioning and fireplace and other amenities.
In the basement there are 3 bedrooms, as well as 3 bathrooms (but we only want to rent to 4 people and children should the 12. Have reached the age of one), a bedroom with 'bath en suite', stereo / plasma TV. All rooms have direct access to a large terrace with separate 'lounge area'.

Casa Atlante's unique location in the Red Natura 2000 of Tamanca area on the west side of La Palma makes it perfect for those who love the mountain and the beach. The area is a sea of tranquility and many hiking trails can be accessed easily by feet from the house.

Important: The current pictures do not show the shutters, mosquito nets and curtains which have been recently installed. Please note that all rooms have shutters and curtains for privacy and light blocking. All rooms have also mosquito nets on the windows.

Much of the furniture was created by us with recycled wood. That includes all wardrobes and beds, the oval table in the living room and nearly all the exterior furniture.

The house was completely renovated in 2023 and all the appliances are new. A 40/5 mbps Internet connection is available by both WiFi and Ethernet ports for those working remotely.

Casa Atlante is an on-grid solar-powered, fully-equipped house of 46 m2 which will make you feel comfortably at home whether you are a group or a couple.

The main bedroom has one queen size bed 160x200 cm while the second bedroom has two single (90x200cm) beds, which can be put together or separate. 100% cotton bed linen and towels are provided and there is plenty of storage space in beautiful wooden wardrobes. The open space kitchen and living room have great views to the valley in front of the house.

The house lies on a 2500 m2 property, which includes one front terrace, a large 65 m2 terrace and multiple garden areas. On the large terrace, you can enjoy an all-day-long sun with views to the sea and the Cumbre Vieja Natural Park, and some of the most beautiful sunsets and star-gazing views. The surrounding areas to the house are left in its natural state with plants of the area.

There is free private parking for two cars, but there is also plenty of parking space in the access to the property.

The area is very quiet and peaceful, and conveniently located close to everything you need within a short trip by car. The towns of El Paso and Los LLanos de Aridane are both around 30-45 minutes away by car. The closest supermarket, in Fuencaliente, is a 15 minutes drive. There is also a small shop 1 minute away that has all the essentials.

The nearest beach is el Charco Verde, which can be reached in around 17 minutes, while El Puerto de Tazacorte’s beach is located 25 minutes away from the house. And if you want some wilder beaches you can head south to Fuencaliente and be there in 30 minutes.

There are also multiple lava fields that can be explored by a few minutes' drive, like the recent 2021’s Tajogaite volcano, located only 3 km from the house.

The Cradle of the Moon is a very comfortable and cosy , four poster Balinese style bed with weatherproof curtains and a transparent roof , so you can see the stars through the huge Pine tree branches.above It is in our enchanting garden of the Hesperides. Nearby are two Eco compost toilets , the covered communal barbeque kitchen and full use of the communal magical gardens and giant fresh water pool.
Please note smoking and alcohol are prohibited on the property for health and safety reasons.

Please also note that the garden may have some potential hazards. We would like to ask you to avoid these places and to always keep your safety in mind. In particular, we would like to point out that the garden is not child-safe. Parents or supervisors are asked to adequately supervise their children and ensure that they move safely in the garden. Our pool is at your disposal to refresh and relax on warm days. However, please be aware that using the pool involves certain risks. Welcome to Casa Sabina.
This house came into my life over 20 years ago for my life. At first we lived in it as a vacation home, later as a family with a lot of heart and joy for many years and now designed it into what it is now: a place of coming together and being together. In addition, the opportunity has been created to be able to work as well as relax.

You are here on the west side, in the heart of the island, El Paso, La Rosa at an altitude of about 800 m in a nature reserve.
To the south you overlook the Pico de Birigoyo, to the west the sea, to the north the Pico Bejenado rises and to the east the mountain range of Cumbrecita with the enchanting cloud waterfall.
The town center of El Paso is about 2.5 km away. To Santa Cruz de La Palma, about 25 km, to Los Llanos about 7 km and to the beaches on the west coast about 16 km and east coast about 25 km.

Traveling without a car: There is a bus stop within walking distance of the house (about 8 minutes) Restaurant La Cascada. From this stop there is a direct bus to the capital Santa Cruz as well as to El Paso and Los Llanos. For detailed information about the bus connections, you can google "Tilp Autobuses La Palma."

In El Paso there are of course supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries, etc. However, there is also a small "mom and pop shop" (Viveres La Rosa), which is only about 600 meters away. So if you don't want to make a big purchase, this is a good way to buy small things right around the corner. The nearest large supermarket is the "Spar," which is about 2 kilometers away.

It is a heavenly place of tranquility and quiet. A central location for activities, whether hiking in the mountains, city visits or beach enjoyment.
