- "Marriot has always been consistent throughout all our stays. The staff is friendly, the rooms clean, and the parking attendants are awesome. My husband and I grew up in San Jose and come sometimes for date nights and alternate between the old fairmont, now Signia and Marriot but after a few bad parking mishaps with signia, we will only be staying at the Marriot. Signia prioritizes event or other people parking at the hotel rather than guest and the last time we were sent away to park at nearby parking structures and basically had to bribe the parking attendant to let us park in our own hotel. Each guest is expected to make their bed daily, change/wash their sheets every 2 weeks, and towels should be washed once per week. Clean sheets and towels can be found in the hallway closet. Used sheets and towels should be placed in the laundry bin next to the washing machine in the garage.

We prohibit smoking of any kind (marijuana, tobacco, e-cigarettes, vape, hookah) in the house, in the back yard, or in the court in front of the house. If you do smoke, we will ask you to walk around the block while you smoke and to dispose of the cigarette butts in the trash rather than on the ground.

If you snore loudly, we may ask you to wear Breathe Right nasal strips when you sleep in order to minimize the disturbance to others.

If someone is wearing headphones, it may be a sign that they are working. If so, please do not disturb them.

If you cause damage to an appliance or item belonging to the house, or if you repeatedly leave messes behind which other people have to clean up, we will ask you to pay an additional fee.

Our community attracts talented individuals from around the world. Whether you pursue an MBA, attend a developer school, start a company, seek funding, find market validation, expand your network, or hack a project, we provide a quiet and professional environment with people like you. Our guests are usually sharing meals and interesting conversation, attending events and meetups, playing games, watching shows, and throwing BBQs.

2. The Space
We furnish every room with desks and chairs, we don't overcrowd the rooms, and we keep a professional environment so that you have a quiet place to work, read, relax, study, and code. We have a garage with seating and work space and a spacious backyard with patio furniture. The weather in San Jose is nice all year long.

3. Great Kitchen + Unlimited Food
All guests are automatically enrolled in our unlimited food plan - for $10/day (the cost of 1 fast food meal) you get unlimited access to high quality nutrition, you never have to spend time shopping, and it is much more efficient and convenient than shopping individually. Plus, you get access to a much wider variety of food because we leverage the buying power of our entire community.

We pride ourselves in having the best cooking equipment: Vitamix blender, Keurig coffee maker, Instant Pot, rice cooker, toaster, high quality pots and pans, and cutlery. We also have private shelf space and fridge space for your personal food items. We want you to eat well, enjoy cooking meals, sharing food, and making smoothies with fresh fruits and vegetables. We love food!

4. The Comfort
We strive to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We invest in high quality mattresses, pillows, and sheets to ensure that you sleep well. We provide ear plugs for light sleepers, and nasal strips for those who snore. Our house stays clean because everyone contributes. If you make a mess, clean it up. Sheets and towels are cleaned by the house, so you always have access to clean bedding.

Other things to note
You can save 10% for staying at least 31 days! Santa Clara County charges a "short-term occupancy tax" for reservations of 30 days or less, and this tax is not charged for reservations of 31 days or longer.

We do not accept reservations outside of AirBnB.

If you are unhappy with your stay we will provide an immediate refund.

Our rooms are shared, so it is possible that you might share a room with male and female guests. If you have a strong preference for a male-only/female-only room, please check with us before booking.

We reserve the right to ask any guest to leave for being sexist, racist, homophobic, rude, disruptive, violating others' personal space, or violating the house rules.

Each guest is expected to make their bed daily, change/wash their sheets every 2 weeks, and towels should be washed once per week. Clean sheets and towels can be found in the hallway closet. Used sheets and towels should be placed in the laundry bin next to the washing machine in the garage.

We prohibit smoking of any kind (marijuana, tobacco, e-cigarettes, vape, hookah) in the house, in the back yard, or in the court in front of the house. If you do smoke, we will ask you to walk around the block while you smoke and to dispose of the cigarette butts in the trash rather than on the ground.

If you snore loudly, we may ask you to wear Breathe Right nasal strips when you sleep in order to minimize the disturbance to others.

If someone is wearing headphones, it may be a sign that they are working. If so, please do not disturb them.

If you cause damage to an appliance or item belonging to the house, or if you repeatedly leave messes behind which other people have to clean up, we will ask you to pay an additional fee.
