- "We had a nice few days here. Appreciated the advance communication from the hosts, as well as their helpfulness on restaurants & early checkin. The unit was clean & had everything we needed to cook meals and dine at the kitchen bar. The futon sofa was comfortable for two to sit & watch tv. I had thought it might be awkward to watch the living room tv since it was up so high on the wall, but it was fine. Also appreciated the large bedroom tv so we could each watch our own show in different rooms. Loved having two sinks in the bathroom & a big shower. The bed was a bit too firm for me – hurt my hip to sleep on my side; but on my back was fine. Really appreciated a full size washer/dryer. For a couple on the road for four weeks, there wasn’t quite enough storage for all of our things, but we put them against the wall in the living room & our clothes fit fine hanging in the closet; no real drawer space. Our golf clubs had to stay in the car, but it seemed pretty safe and we had no issues. Street parking was easy. Unit and street were both really quiet but the location completely walkable to a Trader Joe’s and major shopping center with plenty of shops and dining. My only real complaint was that the AC would reset to 70 degrees and for people that keep it at 76-78 at night, that was way too cold to sleep. Would stay here again."

The bed is a solid queen bed, though it looks skinny on the photo. It is good for single traveller, or two who enjoys sleeping in the same bed. The couch is a bit small to sleep on for average grown ups.

Outdoor space is very pleasant with comfy chairs and umbrella, and enough space for a couple of pups. It has nice breeze and the street is neither noise nor completely silent you will be aware of people enjoying their walks outside, in your own private space with a cup of tea.

Most of the hotel rooms smells old, stale with worn out carpet, my place smells fresh and clean. Everything is new, big windows. shower and bath tub is separated. picture frame tv, new appliances, high-quality solid bed and mattress, nespresso coffee maker and keurig. we strive to provide a convenient, friendly, comfortable space for the guests. a house that functions, suggests a life style, aesthetically pleasing. Nice for short term stays. People stay for two months like it as well.

We are just a few blocks away from the house, and will be available for any questions or concerns. We do check in periodically to ensure everything is going well for your stay. We treat our guests with respect, privacy, and try our best to communicate with you as much as possible. We reserved one parking space for our guests in our shared driveway ( our driveway is a little steep so please drive in or backup slowly ) if you have more than one car you can also park on the street on the side of the house.

NO PARTIES OR EVENTS. Deposit will be on-hold, reservation will be cancelled. Cops will be called, and legal actions will be taken, if you choose to throw a party at our property! Outside furniture, and decorations are not allowed.

Failure to follow the rule will result in loss of the security deposit and immediate eviction.

Groups of party-sized visitors are not allowed.

Keep outside noise to a minimum after 10pm.

As a friendly reminder, if you have any issue during your stay, please it bring to our attention. We are happy to assist right away. Any refunds on cleaning or nightly rate will not be authorized after check out, and we have a very strict no-smoking policy. Any traces of smoking inside the unit will result in a penalty of $500 USD.

Note: We have a no pet policy, the dog does well with humans but is territorial with other dogs. For liability and safety reasons, we would not be able to host guests with service dogs because of this.

If pets are brought in, this will result in immediate cancellation of the reservation.

Gardener and landscape maintenance will occur twice weekly, they will have access to the backyard.

Trash and Recycling bin must be taken out every Wednesday evening for early Thursday morning pick up.
Please load dirty dishes into the dishwasher and start prior to check out.

Under no circumstance is parties allowed. Immediate cancellation, cops called, and deposit not refunded.

Cannot park on the street every fourth Friday of the month, between 1-4pm. Failure to do so will result in a citation from the city.

This SLEEP & SHOWER place with ESSENTIALS is low-cost, semi-private, and clean! In a one-story house, in a quiet family neighborhood with Wi-Fi and easy street parking.

You can stay DAYS, WEEKS, or MONTHS. Although, only two week reservations for new guests. After you are here a some days, you can likely extend as long as you want. Most are welcome to stay long-term. NO loud chronic snorers please.

The space
Each personal SLEEPING SPACE INCLUDES a private twin bed tent to make it semi-private in a CO-ED shared environment. It also includes bedding, a fan/light combo, a nightstand, an extension cord, a bath towel, a floor towel, a bathroom caddy, and a laundry hamper. Plus earplugs and 2 nasal strips (just in case).

ALSO spaces #1 THRU #7 are in bedrooms and you have half a closet with hangers and a hanging closet organizer.

AND spaces #8 THRU #11 are in the front room and you have a coat rack with multiple hooks for your towels, coat, and other belongings, plus a storage cube and under bed storage. NO closet, so LESS storage.

There are a lot of PLACES around here in WALKING distance, stores, restaurants, fast food, parks, etc. There are many ADDITIONAL places only a few minutes DRIVE such as Oakridge Mall with a Movie Theater, Costco, Walmart, gyms, etc. PLUS we have a DRIVE-IN THEATER (not too many left) only 8 minutes away! Downtown is only a 10 minute drive. The SJ airport is 14 minutes away.

I am in south San Jose off CA-85 and Blossom Hill Road near Snell Avenue. A couple minutes from 85 & 87, five minutes from 280/680 & 17/880, and seven minutes from 101. I am near Blossom Hill Light Rail Station and 2 bus stops half a mile away, a 10 minute walk to each one.

You have ACCESS to 3 bathrooms, the laundry room, the backyard with a pool and an outdoor shower, the sunroom, and the kitchen. Regarding the kitchen, you can use the microwave, toaster, kitchen table, and plus you have 'limited' space in a cupboard, the refrigerator, and freezer. Refer to the "house manuel" for long-term cooking.

NO kitchen essentials, although I have napkins, S&P, "limited" disposable dishware, and a can opener.

Plus, there are DESKS and chairs to SHARE. The ADDITIONAL AMENITIES include toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap. Also cleaning supplies available.

There are NO couches and NO TVs.

If you snore loudly, we may ask you to wear Breathe Right nasal strips when you sleep in order to minimize the disturbance to others.

If someone is wearing headphones, it may be a sign that they are working. If so, please do not disturb them.
