Local outdoor pool was nearby, for a very reasonable daily rate. Close to Main Street. The basement space was well maintained, and yes, the bed was very comfy! The kitchen was laid out exactly as in the pictures...but I didn't notice that there was no sink. This was not a problem, as bathroom sink was more than adequate for what I needed. My host, Marlene, was just lovely. She was very aware of giving me my privacy, which was appreciated! She was able to provide me with information of the area, and showed me around the local Farmer's market! She was also easily able to provide a couple of additional items that I needed in the unit. Loved that there were coffee pods waiting for me! I would 100% stay here again, without hesitation. Thank you for everything!"

Heritage Lake is located less than 1 km west of Morinville. From Highway 2, turn west at Morinville on Highway 642 and travel 0.7 km. The lake is immediately south of the highway and can be accessed from the Morinville RV Park. ACA annually stocks this pond with rainbow trout and brook trout, typically before the May long weekend.

The Wi-Fi will be posted in the manual. Free Internet, Internet is slow if all guests are using it all at once. The wi-fi slower then you are used to in a town or city. Heavy downloading and weather affects the signal.

There are numerous fruit trees and raspberry bushes throughout the property in summer.

** Please be advised that it's actually about 20 minutes north of where it says on the map. It would not let us map it properly because it's on the edge of sturgeon county on a 100-acres, but I assure you the area is just as gorgeous as the house, a peaceful oasis.

We have a dog that we adopted when we purchased this home, she was raised on the property since she was a baby and we just did not have the heart to take her away from her home. She lives on the property outside. She's extremely people friendly and does not bark. She has been trained to patrol the 100 acres of property to keep the house, yard and the guests safe. Her name is Ruby and she's a large Giant Alaskan Malamute. Please do not let children around Ruby, she is very strong and can accidentally hurt a child. She keeps all the coyotes and moose’s away as well. She is NOT allowed in the house or any human food, as it can harm her. She is fully trained and will not bug you much, unless someone wants to play with her because she loves people.

Extra guests staying the night is $50 a person per night.
Any visitors with Hosts approval $25 a person per day.

In addition to the door you will use to enter and leave the suite there is an emergency door to the walkout basement and large windows in the kitchen and bedroom that could be used for exit.

We built a new full time rental on the property. For this reason our BNB no longer has laundry or stove. Laundromat is a few blocks away, kitchen now has lrg countertop toaster oven and hot plate

The suite is completely separate from our home space with your own entrance.

We have a 16 year old daughter who babysits all the time and depending on availability could babysit in the evenings if you are coming in with a little and want to go out for supper or a night out. She charges $12.00/hr

The family upstairs are quiet, friendly and usually home. However, they are completely separated from the suite. There is a beautiful beach and access to it can be arranged with advanced notice.

As avid Air bnb guests we were inspired by our experiences on how best to renovate, decorate and equip this space, so we did everything right from the beginning.

This is a beautiful and fully equipped basement suite that has been legally approved by the city of St Albert with its own dedicated address, so it is safe for all types of families.

It has a private entrance with a dedicated bell, key pad lock, lovely entrance stairs and dedicated portion of the large backyard to make guests feel like they have the entire house to themselves.

Inside the suite you find a spacious entrance/sitting area and laundry with built in storage cabinets; fully equipped kitchen complete with brand new appliances, including dishwasher and counter top and counter stools suitable for remote work; living room, modern bathroom; 2 spacious bedrooms with a walk in closet in the master bedroom; approved safety windows for ease of egress; and hallway with custom made shelves.

Guest access
Access around the neighborhood (Akinsdale) is pretty straightforward because it's on the border of Edmonton and St Albert. Our location in Akinsdale is close to several amenities (restaurants, gas stations, major grocery stores, etc.), and you can walk to most of them. There are several bus stops within walking distance as well.

Akinsdale is also close to several recreational parks and sporting centers in St Albert, including, Atwood Park, Fountain Park and the Servus Place.

Specifically the property is 5 mins away from the major highway in the North of Alberta - the Anthony Henday. It also about 15 mins away from Groat road. Both of these access roads make it very easy to get to most parts of Edmonton between 15-30 minutes, including West Edmonton Mall and the University of Alberta.

The property is located on a private cul de sac so parking is always available.

Outside, you have access to the entire backyard including gazebo, dining table, outdoor BBQ, and fire pit.

There is free car or light truck parking in the driveway and room for oversize available on the street.

Guests have access to the complete suite, from the warm and spacious entrance, to the large and open concept main and lower levels.
Guests also have access to a BBQ, comfortable Gazebo, fire pit and a spacious open deck with seating. Extra green space is also available for little ones to burn off some energy.

Welcome to Cherot in St Albert. A modern take on French countryside living. Our beautiful, new home is centrally located and has quick access to the main arteries in the Edmonton area. Enjoy a spacious interior with a ton of sunshine on all levels. A large kitchen has everything for you to entertain and feed the rugrats! 3 very comfortable bedrooms with space for at least 6 people

The space
Our sunny brand new townhome is the first end unit in the second building. It is a 2200sqft double story. Basement is not included in this rental. Please enquire if you need the basement as well for larger groups
There are three bedrooms upstairs, the main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower combo and the other two bedrooms share a bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
There is a high efficiency washer and dryer upstairs in a large walk-in closet in the hallway.
The main floor living space is open with a large comfortable sectional that can accommodate the whole family for movie nights or the current game. The kitchen is well stocked to make a meal at home. The dining room table accommodate eight people comfortably. There are two counter height bar stools just off the dining room table for overflow seating to accommodate ten people.

The double garage is detached and will only be available if you rent a vehicle from us. We have a fleet of Tesla's available for rent through a variety of platforms. We provide delivery to Edmonton International airport. The garage includes a EV (electric vehicle) charger and cost of charging is included with Airbnb rental. We encourage people new to EV's to try our vehicles. Renting a home with a charger is a wonderful way of experiencing daily living with an EV.
