We are located 20 minutes Northwest from the town of Rocky Mountain House close to the Crimson Lake Provincial Park. We will only give the exact location once the property has been booked for privacy and safety reasons. Our property features its own trails and forest. For added enjoyment we are 7km from the Crimson Lake Provincial Park and a convenient 20 minute drive from the town of Rocky Mountain House.

Chip's Cabin is a self-contained cabin with an upstairs loft that includes 2 double beds while the main floor has a double pull out sofa, a 3-Piece bathroom and a full kitchen. The owners live on the property in separate housing. Guests have Chip's Cabin to themselves.

The deck has a great view of the Alberta foothills with access to your own BBQ and views of the horses in the pasture. A communal fir pit is available depending fire bans and weather permitting.

The bright bedroom offers the comfort of a queen size bed, luggage rack, fridge, microwave, kettle and keurig. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cream and sweeteners are provided, plus bottled water. The room has a closet with hangers, and space for folded items. The adjacent living room with cable TV is for your sole use. A wall-mounted fold-up table and chairs are available for eating, or as a laptop work space. Free WiFi is included. The sparkling European style private bathroom boasts a luxurious rain shower head, plump towels as well as shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Although the main entrance is used by us as well, it is on the same level as the guest room so there's no need to worry about interfering with our living area.

This main floor legal suite has been fully renovated from one end to the other. New windows, doors, insulation, flooring, kitchen, and bathroom, this really does feel like a brand new home. It is clean, sharp, and bright, and allows for all the comforts of home while you and your group are on the road. Because this is a new listing, more amenities will be coming soon. Feel free to leave your suggestions and I will do what I can to accommodate!

The space
This suite has been completely renovated for a smart, clean, and modern look. All beds and linens are brand new as of October 2023. The bathroom is beautifully tiled and bright through the glass shower doors over the full-size tub. The kitchen is fully stocked with all major cooking necessities, and the fridge is stocked with your most common condiments. The master bedroom is a decent size, although the two other rooms are certainly much smaller.

Guest access
Complete main floor suite with secure, private entrance and access via digital door lock. The suite is accessible through the front door up the 3 steps next to the picture window. You are free to use the entire main floor space as your comfort requires. A door code will be sent prior to check-in. You can help yourself inside with convenience and privacy, or I can provide in-person check-in, whichever you decide!

Gorgeous cabin in a country setting 10 min north of Rocky Mtn House, Ab. This little gem is ideal for year around holiday as its heated and has lots of quality amenities. The Cabin features lots of beautiful tile work, wood stove, full shower, kitchen, covered decks and private fire pit! Seriously close to tons of outdoor recreational and historical locations. Crimson Lake, Cow Lake, Twin Lakes, Clearwater River & North Saskatchewan River are just some of the ideal sites in close proximity.

The Lazy Larch is a cozy cabin with a studio feel, complete with all amenities—forced air heat, hot water, and a full bathroom with a shower. Enjoy the ambiance of an electric fireplace while you relax in the rustic space. Cook your favorite meal in the fully equipped kitchen or BBQ on the large deck as the sun sets."

Located on a private property off a main road, there is a long gated driveway to the Lazy Larch. Parking is behind the two white sheds in front of the green gate. Electric cords are there for the cold morning starts. Parking is 20ft from the Larch.

Other things to note
While staying with us, please ensure that all dogs are on a leash at all times. This is a working acreage, so you can expect to hear and see quads, tractors, dogs, cats, and chickens. Although our animals may look cute and friendly, please do not feed them, even if they seem to be begging for a snack. There are friendly dogs and children on the property, so we ask that you drive cautiously when moving through the yard.
If you choose to use the trails, please do so at your own risk, as this is crown land. You may encounter wildlife or experience boggy walking conditions.

Unique off grid, (no power) glamping, sleeping quarters. Private treed space. 3 beds & bedding is provided as well as a wood burning stove & firewood. Next to the “Tabin” is a kitchen shelter for storing food & taking cover in inclement weather. Hammocks & fire pit. 5 minute walk to the North Saskatchewan River. Close to lakes and hiking trails. BBQ, wash station, outdoor solar heated shower, portable toilet and parking for 2 regular size vehicles on site. Small pets only. Absolutely NO parties.

The space
Private area nestled back in the trees with access to nature trails and a close walk to the river.
Upon arriving you’ll see a big rock inukshuk at the start of the driveway, stay to the left of it and continue up the long driveway until you see our White House and take the trail to the right of it into the bush.
On site is a tent/cabin “tabin” with one double bed and two single beds, all bedding provided. For chilly nights there is a small wood burning stove inside the tabin.

Covered cooking shelter, potable water, cooking utensils and seasonings, dish washing station, BBQ, propane stove, fire pit, old fashioned cooking camp stove, wiener sticks, Solar shower station, porta potty, solar lights.

As well we want to advise guests that we are beside North Saskatchewan River Park where there are summer events held.
Please note these dates below. Some noise can be heard from the grounds but your space is still very private. One of the events is Battle of the Rockies chuckwagons, so it’s nice and close if you’re coming to take it in.

The space
This recently renovated house is located to the front of the property and over looks the hay field with mountain views. Three bedrooms provide a Queen, double and a single bed for your comfort. The house is serviced by a well and septic system and a water dispenser is available in the house for drinking water. There is a deck to both the front and the rear of the property and a spacious garden area around it, for outdoor games and activities. A children's play set to the rear provides entertainment for the kids while you relax on the deck and fire up the grill.
There is a small pond to the rear, where ducks and frogs are seen to hang out and if your an early riser you may see the deer and moose that often travel through the property.

Parking is available to the front of the property which is situated directly off the Cowboy trail, making this an easy drive and a great location for exploring the many lakes, ATV trails and hiking near by.

There is a walking path to the outside of the hay field which guests are welcome to use. We have donkeys,lambs,chickens and cats, so any pets should be leashed when outside.
