Chalet Icogne was built in traditional Savoyard style and equipped with all modern conveniences. It is located at 1600m, 40 meters from the skipiste the snow-sure ski village of Sainte Foy Station. The large windows of the spacious living room on the 1st floor offer a magnificent view of the snowy peaks of Mont Pourri all year round. The balcony faces south-west so there is sun all afternoon and there is always a lot of snow around the chalet in the winter.
On the ground floor there are 2 double rooms and a room with 4 bunk beds. Furthermore 2 bathrooms, 1 with a bathtub. 2 toilets of which 1 separately. Enough cupboard space.

A fantastic location being just 20m from the slopes a perfect location for lifts, ski schools, rental hire and local restaurants. Great for those seeking a holiday with minimum of effort at the start and end of day. The chalet is on the ground floor over 150sq m being a large chalet that has been finished to a high standard with underfloor heating throughout, sauna room with a double shower, 3 shared shower rooms or bathrooms, garage and parking space and a outdoor hotter overlooking the speculator views.

Vue Montagne is a 6 bedroom (10+2 person), family chalet situated at the bottom of the main lift. It’s central location is ideally suited for accessing the slopes, ski school, shops and restaurants of Sainte Foy Station. You will find all of these are only a snow ball’s throw away yet the chalet maintains a feeling of privacy and calm, with tranquil views down the valley. It is the ideal location for both your winter snow sport holiday and your summer hiking or mountain biking vacation.

The ground floor space comprises an open plan living, dining and kitchen area (complete with a newly fitted kitchen for the 2019-2020 season), as well as a WC. There is a large balcony to the front with stunning mountain views, a perfect spot to soak up the afternoon rays with a cold beer or vin rouge and relive the days adventures. To the rear you will find wooden decking with a picnic table and deck chairs.

Sleeping accommodation is split between 3 levels. On the first floor is a master bedroom (with Jack and Jill bathroom), 2 twin bedrooms, a further shower room, separate toilet and a family bedroom. The family room is ideally suited to those with young children. It is composed of a smaller double bedroom and a larger mezzanine providing an additional living area, twin beds and a cot. Then ground/basement floor provides you with your final, double bedroom, and a bathroom containing an infrared sauna, shower and laundry facilities. There is also a boot room and single garage with ski storage on this level, with further parking for 1 vehicle outside the front of the chalet. Should you need it, there is plenty of additional public parking at the bottom of the road.

We have tried to equip our house with amenities to make you feel relaxed and at home. The flat screen TV has both French and English Freeview channels and a selection of English language DVDs for both adults and children. There is a CD player with AUX cable to let you relax and listen to your own music. And for those with little ones in tow a highchair, some plastic crockery, a cot and 2 travel cots for you to make use of (note: cot bedding not provided). For their safety and your peace of mind you will even find stair gates off the main living area and mezzanine bedroom.

Room 1: Entrance level, has a king size bed or twins , and an ensuite walk in shower basin and a balcony. The wc is located next to the bedroom.

Room 2: Entrance level, has two 90cm beds OR a king.There is a third 80 cm bed which is elevated and fixed into the wall. This is suitable for a child or small adult. In addition there is plenty of space to add a cot . There is a bathroom located next door in the hallway which features a large bath, walk in shower, basin and WC.

Room 3: Which is on the floor below the entrance, has a separate door leading to balcony with stairs to the garden. It has a king sized bed or twin and also a sofa bed which is a full sized divan with a pull out drawer. If only 1 full sized bed is used there is space for a cot . The ensuite bathroom has a small bath with a shower, a basin and WC.

Room 4: The mezzanine area is galleried above the lounge . There are 2 distinct areas which are configured as a double snug and a twin snug . There is also a sofa bed which can be made into a full size queen in the centre of the room at full head height if you prefer . Both have limited head height and the mattress are located 5cm from the floor . There is a TV up there, and a toy cupboard with selection of books, toys and games. There is a small shower room with shower, sink and WC. This area can be used for teenagers, kids or adults, but of course gets some noise when the lounge is being used. There is a possibility to move the beds to the centre of the mezzanine and put on legs, meaning ample head height but less privacy. we can configure this to suit your needs, just let us know. Light comes to the mezzanine via the main lounge and also skylight velux . This has a TV and DVD player with use media slot.

In the summer you can also rent Apartment Marron and the studio at the same time for bigger groups.

The kitchen is modern and well equipped with, dishwasher, induction hob, oven, microwave, 2 fridge/freezers, Nespresso coffee machine, cafitiere, pierrade, raclette and fondue equipment. As well as a huge selection of cooking baking and serving ware. There is a large breakfast bar which comfortably seats 7, and is often the hub of the action.

The lounge, kitchen and dining area is all open plan with a surface area of approx 80m2, half of which has 5m high exposed roof, and picture windows over looking the mountains. It has large siding doors and balcony to south and west. There is a dining table with 10 chairs, as well as comfy seating for 10 as well as some bean bags for lounging in front of the fire or TV which has your choice of TNT, Freesat or USB port to add your Apple TV, amazon , Chrome or hard drive.

The entrance has a porch with a coded lock where you can lock your ski equipment, there is plenty of space under the stairs to store your boots to keep them warm and dry. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer. The chalet has a private garden to keep little ones amused.

The Chalet is accessed via a steep path, which mostly sits under the eaves of our neighbours house, The drive is cleared by our neigbour, but equipment is also available. Parking for the chalet is located about 100m away accross the main road in the municipal parking, although there is room to stop load and unload on a daily basis outside the chalet at the top of the path.

We are more than happy to give you the details of private chefs or caterers in the are who can provide anything from a gala dinner to a simple hot pre prepared dish delivered to the chalet.

If you prefer eating out there are a selection of restaurants in the station, one in Ste Foy Village, and an enormous choice in Bourg. For something extra special there is Chez Merie just over in Le Miroir (6km).

A large, beautifully renovated 1 bedroom apartment in an old farmhouse spread over 2 floors. At 70sqm Chalet Susie is as large as some 3 bedroom apartments.

Rates are negotiable for stays of 4+ weeks, especially outside the peak weeks of Xmas, New Year and the school holidays. We can also offer a Friday check-in and Sunday check-out for the price of a standard week during these periods. Contact us for details as it is not always possible to reflect longer term offers.

The property was renovated in a traditional style by local craftsmen using high quality materials and features underfloor heating. The interior is completed with a Nero Victorio antique limestone floor and an extremely comfortable Chesterfield suite.

Whilst the apartment is comfortably large enough to accommodate 4 adults using the Chesterfield sofa bed in the living area we have designed it to primarily appeal to couples or young families who might otherwise find themselves having to rent a two bedroom apartment and compromise on the available living space.

The front door opens to a garden area with beautiful and extensive views of the Tarentaise valley.

Chalet Susie offers great walking, hiking and mountain biking opportunities direct from the front door and is superbly located for exploring the wider Haute Tarentaise and Savoie area with its rich and varied history.

The resort itself shares a 25km border with Italy and several historic fortifications are within an easy drive. These include the Fort de la Platte, Fort du Truc and Fort de la Redoute Ruinee.

There are several nature reserves in the area with the Réserve Naturelle des Hauts de Villaroger being a 15 minute drive away. Please be aware that this area serves as a refuge of the Tetras-Lyre and can only be accessed with an approved guide.

The apartment contains several maps and books detailing local walks for all levels of fitness. The walk to the hamlet of Le Monal is easily achievable whilst the return hike to Lac Noir is likely to take most of the day but is well worth the effort. June is a particularly colourful month as the meadow flowers are in full bloom.

The resort's Grand Plan lift opens for foot passengers and mountain bikers during the Summer holiday period, but outside the peak holiday periods the resort is extremely peaceful.

We operate a Sunday changeover for most of the Winter season. This offers clients the dual benefits of travelling to and from the resort when the roads are quiet (the main changeover day in the wider area is Saturday and traffic can be extremely heavy, especially during the peak weeks) and being able to enjoy a Saturday on the slopes as the final day of their holiday (as most people are either leaving or arriving on a Saturday the slopes are generally very quiet on a Saturday).

Although it's a one bedroom property, that bedroom is huge (as is the bed) with stunning views onto the snow capped mountains of the Tarentaise Valley down towards Bourg St Maurice. There was plenty of room for all of our gear which was easily unloaded from the car just outside. The apartment has everything you need for 4 people and has a really REALLY cosy feel - it's been renovated to a high standard and is very tastefully done (love the illuminated steps). There's a coffee machine, fridge freezer, excellent cooker (induction hob and double oven), dishwasher and reasonable size utility room with a washer dryer. After booking, I read the reviews and panicked a little for a moment but DON'T let talk on the reviews page of a 'transfer shuttle' put you off - It's just a 5 minute uphill stroll to the Lift, Shops and Bars (I'm not fit and found this no problem & neither did the children) we didn't even bother looking for the shuttle. On the way back at the end of the day, the ski run to Batalliette finishes very close to the front door (maybe a 90 second walk?) although I believe it is possible to ski even closer to the door through the trees. It really was perfect for our family of four and we would definitely go again. "

Chalet Le Jorat is a traditional Savoyard farm building, which has been sympathetically restored to retain it’s character and charm, while still offering all modern comforts. In summer there are countless mountain activities just minutes away and some of our favourite winter restaurants open their swimming pools so that following a delicious lunch you can bask in the glory of the mountains, while enjoying a glorious day by the pool.

We visited in summer, ostensibly for mountain biking, and found Le Jorat perfectly placed with Tignes and Les Arcs within a 20 minute drive up and down the valley, and with XC trails virtually on the doorstep at Le Monal. Le Jorat is just off-road, but it's views up at the mountains and down the valley towards Villa Roger give it a really secluded feel, and the balcony and stone terraces give you plenty of private outdoor space to relax in. The owners were really helpful and gave us lots of tips about how to get the most out of our stay. We didn't manage to fit it all in so we're already plotting a return visit."

Chalet Altus is an 18th century Savoyard farmhouse renovated in 2022 in a rustic-chic style of great comfort, and decorated by artists. In Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise, called "the best kept secret of the Alps", Chalet Altus is nestled in the heart of a unique area of 8 ski resorts located between 10 and 30 minutes away (Sainte Foy Bon Conseil, Les Arcs-la Plagne-Peisey Nancroix, Tignes-Val d'Isere, La Rosiere-la Thuile d'Aoste...). Free shuttles at the end of the road. Less than a 10-minute walk to the shops of the capital open all year round (with general grocery store, the very good restaurant Le Monal, caterer-wine merchant, tobacco-press, equipment stores, church, medical office, osteopath...). Chalet Emilie is arranged over four floors. You enter the house into the open plan living space with its vaulted wooden roof, large windows and underfloor heating throughout. Large bifold doors let in lots of natural light and lead out to the balcony.

Stairs lead up to the mezzanine master suite with bedroom (king or twin) and elegant walkway over the living area below leading to a bathroom with views from the shower and bath out to snow-capped Mont Pourri. From here you can walk out to a private balcony overlooking the mountains which offers a peaceful place to relax away from the main living area of the house.

Stairs lead down from the living area to a beautifully calm second bedroom (king) with en-suite bathroom and a third bedroom (king or twin) also with en-suite bathroom.

The lower ground floor offers an elegant one bedroomed apartment with sliding door separating the bedroom from a cosy living space with kitchenette, television and double sofa bed. The apartment has a beautiful bathroom with shower. The apartment offers a perfect space to host visitors, teenagers or a small family who can operate independently from the rest of the house. The apartment has its own separate street access from a side door to the property and can be closed off from the rest of the house if needed.

Just a short walk away is the beautiful Hotel le Monal, opened in 1888 with its renowned restaurant and wine bar and the village of Sainte Foy Tarentaise offers a small shop with fresh pastries and bread each morning. If you come by train we can book a taxi for you in Bourg Saint Maurice.
If you come by car, the chalet has a covered parking space and free public parking is located 100 m from the chalet.

The lifts, ski school, shops and restaurants are about a 4-minute walk from the chalet.

Traditional chalet in the hamlet of Montalbert (altitude 1450 m), just two hairpins below Sainte Foy ski station (altitude 1550 m). Totally refurbished in 2018, 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 3 toilets, big ski room, amazing view, south and west exposures.

A free shuttle takes you to Sainte Foy station in 2-3 minutes and you ski can back to the chalet (or also take the shuttle).

The space
The chalet is in a traditional hamlet called Montalbert, just below Sainte-Foy Tarentaise ski station. There is a shuttle that takes you to the station in 2 minutes. The shuttle is free.

The chalet is at a 1450 altitude the station is 100 m higher. Returning to the chalet from the station is a ski ride across the fields of snow and it is a great ride.

Val-d’Isère and Tignes are 20 minutes away by car and Les Arcs 10 minutes by car. La Rosière (connected to La Thuile / San Bernadrino in en Italy) is also a à 20 minute drive.

Nestled in the French Alps, our 3-story chalet offers 4 beds / 4 baths, an open fireplace, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the picturesque Tarentaise Valley, a projection room, a ski room, all for you to retreat to after a day spent adventuring outside. A quick ride away from Sainte-Foy Station, les Arcs via the Villaroger chairlift, or la Rosière, the house is also not far from Tignes and Val d'Isère. And to make your stay even more special, our concierge will welcome you upon arrival!

The space
Our chalet originally dates from 1761 and even though it's been updated and upgraded to more modern standards, it has kept most of its original charm: apparent stone walls, an open fireplace, and old doors to name a few. On the ground floor, you will find a ski room and a heated floor throughout. The first floor is home to the master bedroom with a Queen bed and an ensuite bathroom, a projection room with a projector and projection screen, and a laundry room with a washer, dryer, iron and iron board. On the second floor, there are 2 bedrooms with a Queen bed and ensuite bathrooms, as well as a bedroom with 2 single beds and a bathroom on the same floor. On the top floor, you will find a fully-equipped open modern kitchen with Siemens appliances, the dining room, and the living room with a wood burning fireplace. Two balconies on the living room side of the house will allow you to enjoy the many magnificent surrounding views. And finally, on more warmer days, enjoy our deck on the kitchen side of the house.

Guest access
Your GPS will take you directly to the main public parking of La Mazure. Please note that we do not have a dedicated spot there. If that parking is full, keep going and you will find extra public parking before the bridge on the way to Le Miroir, on the right hand side. Once parked, our concierge will meet you to take you to the house, a short 2-min walk from the main parking. 5-min walk if you are parked next to the bridge.

Other things to note
Thank you for leaving your shoes on the ground floor as this is a no-shoe policy house.

Please do not use any of the bedrooms' doors that lead to the outside in the winter, or anytime it is slippery outside.

Please do not leave a fire unattended without the screen in front of it as most of the fires started in these hamlets came from a fireplace.

If you have used all the wood that has been provided to you, you can purchase more from our concierge.

Thank you for not leaving any trash sitting on the floor inside (kitchen or otherwise) or outside so it does not attract unwanted animals or critters. You can take it directly to the bins adjacent to the parking lot where it will have to be separated between regular trash, glass, and recycling.

You will find a house manual on the kitchen island to help you familiarize yourself with the house.

During the ski season, there is a shuttle that will take you to Sainte-Foy Station leaving from the main parking every hour starting at 8:15am. Please check the schedule at the shuttle stop.

Go dine at Chez Mérie in Le Miroir, Le Monal in Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise, Chez Mado et Augusta in La Viclaire, Goyet in Villaroger.
Best cheese, bread and meat in Séez. They are all to be found next to each other.
Closest neighborhood market is La Vie Claire in Séez.
Best flower shop in the region is also in Séez and is called Les Lumineuses.

The space
Originally an Alpine farmhouse, Chalet des Cimes was converted into delightful accommodation just 10 years ago. Located in the charming little hamlet of Montalbert, in the region of Sainte Foy Tarentaise in the French Alps.

The chalet boasts absolutely stunning and uninterrupted views of the surrounding mountains and the valley below, that will keep you mesmerised for hours.

Enter into the chalet through a large hallway complete with ample space to store all your gear, be it hiking boots or skis. Complete with drying room for ski boots.

*Open Plan Living / Dining Room*
An exceptionally large but homely living and dining room with exposed beams & traditional stone complete with a wood burning fire and uninterrupted views across the valley through triple aspect floor to ceiling windows. Large comfortable sofas placed around the wood burning stove, seperate TV area with flexible seating area and dining space to seat up to 12 people. Beside the dining area is breakfast bar open to the kitchen.

There is underfloor heating throughout along with all the necessary mod cons like TV, DVD, Wifi, bluetooth speakers etc.

There is also a chest full of board games. Baby equipment is available on request.

*Mezzanine*
Above the kitchen is a mezzanine level, complete with beanbags, cushions & a TV/DVD player perfect for getting comfy and watching a film.

*Kitchen*
Recently renovated the large fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cater for your stay. A large open hatch/ breakfast bar opens onto the dining area ensuring even the chef can enjoy a social gathering whilst cooking.

*Bedrooms*
All the 5 bedrooms have an en-suite.
The middle floor has 4 bedrooms (2 x double rooms and the other 2 rooms can be configured either as 1 x doubles or 2 x singles).
The lower floor has a brand new kids bunk room (3 beautiful wooden bunk beds sleeping 6 in total). Beside it is a large family bathroom, walk in shower and a large separate bath tub.

Regarding rates...
Christmas, New Year & UK half term are minimum 7 nights booking.
Rates vary from £3500 to £6500 p/w during the winter.
Out of winter rates are £1250 p/w - usually a 7 night minimum booking required, please enquire if you would like a shorter stay during this period.
We prefer operate with Sunday to Sunday bookings, this is a quieter day for travel.
