Chalet Icogne was built in traditional Savoyard style and equipped with all modern conveniences. It is located at 1600m, 40 meters from the skipiste the snow-sure ski village of Sainte Foy Station. The large windows of the spacious living room on the 1st floor offer a magnificent view of the snowy peaks of Mont Pourri all year round. The balcony faces south-west so there is sun all afternoon and there is always a lot of snow around the chalet in the winter.
On the ground floor there are 2 double rooms and a room with 4 bunk beds. Furthermore 2 bathrooms, 1 with a bathtub. 2 toilets of which 1 separately. Enough cupboard space.

Great for those seeking a holiday with minimum of effort at the start and end of day. The chalet is on the ground floor over 150sq m being a large chalet that has been finished to a high standard with underfloor heating throughout, sauna room with a double shower, 3 shared shower rooms or bathrooms, garage and parking space and a outdoor hotter overlooking the speculator views.

Vue Montagne is a 6 bedroom (10+2 person), family chalet situated at the bottom of the main lift. It’s central location is ideally suited for accessing the slopes, ski school, shops and restaurants of Sainte Foy Station. You will find all of these are only a snow ball’s throw away yet the chalet maintains a feeling of privacy and calm, with tranquil views down the valley. It is the ideal location for both your winter snow sport holiday and your summer hiking or mountain biking vacation.

The ground floor space comprises an open plan living, dining and kitchen area (complete with a newly fitted kitchen for the 2019-2020 season), as well as a WC. There is a large balcony to the front with stunning mountain views, a perfect spot to soak up the afternoon rays with a cold beer or vin rouge and relive the days adventures. To the rear you will find wooden decking with a picnic table and deck chairs.

Sleeping accommodation is split between 3 levels. On the first floor is a master bedroom (with Jack and Jill bathroom), 2 twin bedrooms, a further shower room, separate toilet and a family bedroom. The family room is ideally suited to those with young children. It is composed of a smaller double bedroom and a larger mezzanine providing an additional living area, twin beds and a cot. Then ground/basement floor provides you with your final, double bedroom, and a bathroom containing an infrared sauna, shower and laundry facilities. There is also a boot room and single garage with ski storage on this level, with further parking for 1 vehicle outside the front of the chalet. Should you need it, there is plenty of additional public parking at the bottom of the road.

We have tried to equip our house with amenities to make you feel relaxed and at home. The flat screen TV has both French and English Freeview channels and a selection of English language DVDs for both adults and children. There is a CD player with AUX cable to let you relax and listen to your own music. And for those with little ones in tow a highchair, some plastic crockery, a cot and 2 travel cots for you to make use of (note: cot bedding not provided). For their safety and your peace of mind you will even find stair gates off the main living area and mezzanine bedroom.

Room 1: Entrance level, has a king size bed or twins , and an ensuite walk in shower basin and a balcony. The wc is located next to the bedroom.

Room 2: Entrance level, has two 90cm beds OR a king.There is a third 80 cm bed which is elevated and fixed into the wall. This is suitable for a child or small adult. In addition there is plenty of space to add a cot . There is a bathroom located next door in the hallway which features a large bath, walk in shower, basin and WC.

Room 3: Which is on the floor below the entrance, has a separate door leading to balcony with stairs to the garden. It has a king sized bed or twin and also a sofa bed which is a full sized divan with a pull out drawer. If only 1 full sized bed is used there is space for a cot . The ensuite bathroom has a small bath with a shower, a basin and WC.

Room 4: The mezzanine area is galleried above the lounge . There are 2 distinct areas which are configured as a double snug and a twin snug . There is also a sofa bed which can be made into a full size queen in the centre of the room at full head height if you prefer . Both have limited head height and the mattress are located 5cm from the floor . There is a TV up there, and a toy cupboard with selection of books, toys and games. There is a small shower room with shower, sink and WC. This area can be used for teenagers, kids or adults, but of course gets some noise when the lounge is being used. There is a possibility to move the beds to the centre of the mezzanine and put on legs, meaning ample head height but less privacy. we can configure this to suit your needs, just let us know. Light comes to the mezzanine via the main lounge and also skylight velux . This has a TV and DVD player with use media slot.

In the summer you can also rent Apartment Marron and the studio at the same time for bigger groups.

The kitchen is modern and well equipped with, dishwasher, induction hob, oven, microwave, 2 fridge/freezers, Nespresso coffee machine, cafitiere, pierrade, raclette and fondue equipment. As well as a huge selection of cooking baking and serving ware. There is a large breakfast bar which comfortably seats 7, and is often the hub of the action.

The lounge, kitchen and dining area is all open plan with a surface area of approx 80m2, half of which has 5m high exposed roof, and picture windows over looking the mountains. It has large siding doors and balcony to south and west. There is a dining table with 10 chairs, as well as comfy seating for 10 as well as some bean bags for lounging in front of the fire or TV which has your choice of TNT, Freesat or USB port to add your Apple TV, amazon , Chrome or hard drive.

The entrance has a porch with a coded lock where you can lock your ski equipment, there is plenty of space under the stairs to store your boots to keep them warm and dry. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer. The chalet has a private garden to keep little ones amused.

The Chalet is accessed via a steep path, which mostly sits under the eaves of our neighbours house, The drive is cleared by our neigbour, but equipment is also available. Parking for the chalet is located about 100m away accross the main road in the municipal parking, although there is room to stop load and unload on a daily basis outside the chalet at the top of the path.

We are more than happy to give you the details of private chefs or caterers in the are who can provide anything from a gala dinner to a simple hot pre prepared dish delivered to the chalet.

If you prefer eating out there are a selection of restaurants in the station, one in Ste Foy Village, and an enormous choice in Bourg. For something extra special there is Chez Merie just over in Le Miroir (6km).

A large, beautifully renovated 1 bedroom apartment in an old farmhouse spread over 2 floors. At 70sqm Chalet Susie is as large as some 3 bedroom apartments.

Rates are negotiable for stays of 4+ weeks, especially outside the peak weeks of Xmas, New Year and the school holidays. The property was renovated in a traditional style by local craftsmen using high quality materials and features underfloor heating. The interior is completed with a Nero Victorio antique limestone floor and an extremely comfortable Chesterfield suite.

Whilst the apartment is comfortably large enough to accommodate 4 adults using the Chesterfield sofa bed in the living area we have designed it to primarily appeal to couples or young families who might otherwise find themselves having to rent a two bedroom apartment and compromise on the available living space.

The front door opens to a garden area with beautiful and extensive views of the Tarentaise valley.

Chalet Susie offers great walking, hiking and mountain biking opportunities direct from the front door and is superbly located for exploring the wider Haute Tarentaise and Savoie area with its rich and varied history.

The resort itself shares a 25km border with Italy and several historic fortifications are within an easy drive. These include the Fort de la Platte, Fort du Truc and Fort de la Redoute Ruinee.

There are several nature reserves in the area with the Réserve Naturelle des Hauts de Villaroger being a 15 minute drive away. Please be aware that this area serves as a refuge of the Tetras-Lyre and can only be accessed with an approved guide.

The apartment contains several maps and books detailing local walks for all levels of fitness. The walk to the hamlet of Le Monal is easily achievable whilst the return hike to Lac Noir is likely to take most of the day but is well worth the effort. June is a particularly colourful month as the meadow flowers are in full bloom.

The resort's Grand Plan lift opens for foot passengers and mountain bikers during the Summer holiday period, but outside the peak holiday periods the resort is extremely peaceful.

We operate a Sunday changeover for most of the Winter season. This offers clients the dual benefits of travelling to and from the resort when the roads are quiet (the main changeover day in the wider area is Saturday and traffic can be extremely heavy, especially during the peak weeks) and being able to enjoy a Saturday on the slopes as the final day of their holiday (as most people are either leaving or arriving on a Saturday the slopes are generally very quiet on a Saturday).

Although it's a one bedroom property, that bedroom is huge (as is the bed) with stunning views onto the snow capped mountains of the Tarentaise Valley down towards Bourg St Maurice. There was plenty of room for all of our gear which was easily unloaded from the car just outside. The apartment has everything you need for 4 people and has a really REALLY cosy feel - it's been renovated to a high standard and is very tastefully done (love the illuminated steps). There's a coffee machine, fridge freezer, excellent cooker (induction hob and double oven), dishwasher and reasonable size utility room with a washer dryer. After booking, I read the reviews and panicked a little for a moment but DON'T let talk on the reviews page of a 'transfer shuttle' put you off - It's just a 5 minute uphill stroll to the Lift, Shops and Bars (I'm not fit and found this no problem & neither did the children) we didn't even bother looking for the shuttle. On the way back at the end of the day, the ski run to Batalliette finishes very close to the front door (maybe a 90 second walk?) although I believe it is possible to ski even closer to the door through the trees. It really was perfect for our family of four and we would definitely go again. "

Chalet Le Jorat is a traditional Savoyard farm building, which has been sympathetically restored to retain it’s character and charm, while still offering all modern comforts. It is a family home, lovingly decorated with quality furnishings, antiques and quirky finds from the local flea market. It has a large open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area. There are 3 bedrooms, sleeping 6-8, and 2 bathrooms, one of which is en-suite. The hamlet of Le Jorat is almost deserted and often you may be the only people staying there. It is situated half way between St Foy Tarentaise Village and the turning up to Ste Foy Ski Station, nestled amongst the trees and surrounded by nature but simultaneously with easy access to the resorts of St Foy, Les Arcs, Val d’Isere, Tignes and La Rosiere. In summer there are countless mountain activities just minutes away and some of our favourite winter restaurants open their swimming pools so that following a delicious lunch you can bask in the glory of the mountains, while enjoying a glorious day by the pool.

From the antique Savoyard Ski Chalet decor (including animal skins on the floor and stuffed heads on the walls!), to the comfort of the beds, the luxury of the linen, to small details like the sharpness of the knives and the quality of the kitchenware, this place far exceeded our expectations. The Chalet has a real sense of history about it, and you can easily imagine the convivial atmosphere of long dinners shared around the massive table in years gone by. We invited guests for drinks and dinner during our stay and, unsurprisingly, they all suffered from acute chalet-envy! We visited in summer, ostensibly for mountain biking, and found Le Jorat perfectly placed with Tignes and Les Arcs within a 20 minute drive up and down the valley, and with XC trails virtually on the doorstep at Le Monal. Le Jorat is just off-road, but it's views up at the mountains and down the valley towards Villa Roger give it a really secluded feel, and the balcony and stone terraces give you plenty of private outdoor space to relax in. The owners were really helpful and gave us lots of tips about how to get the most out of our stay. We didn't manage to fit it all in so we're already plotting a return visit."
