It’s cozy, warm, and the living area is bigger than it looks in the photos. We were 4 adults, and while there is space for 4 more people in principle, it would be more suited for children. The house also has a small garden from which we watched the fireworks and toasted the neighbours in the opposite balconies on New Year eve. It would be great to sit in and enjoy the mountains when the weather is a bit warmer. Entrèves is a wonderful alternative to Courmayeur. It’s a short bus ride or drive away from the main town, has it’s own gondola up to the slopes, as well as excellent restaurants and a wine bar. The chalet is about an 8 minute walk from the gondola so easy enough in the mornings. Skis can be stored underneath the property in the basement or at the gondola for a fee. Finally, Flavia was responsive and very helpful with check-in and our questions. Would highly recommend and hope to be back."

The space
The chalet is 200 meters from the asphalt road, there are no cars or the noises of civilization, but in the evening it is easy to see deer, roe deer and foxes just outside the garden or observe the traces of the hare on fresh snow. I have lived in this house for 50 years and I am happy to be able to share this wonderful place with those who are able to appreciate it. I personally built most of the furniture to make it cozy and functional despite the small space.

The house is in a unique location, inaccessible to vehicles, can be reached by walking for 200 meters along a path.The little discomfort is offset by the location surrounded by nature and the absence of neighbors. In winter, when possible, I help transport luggage with a snowmobile. Highly recommended the use of a flashlight to walk the path.
