But It's just a short drive to downtown Chamonix, where dining and shopping options abound. The property was nice and clean. Very spacious. Incredible views from the balcony and hot tub. On some minor complaints: It is difficult to get large suitcases up the stairs into the place and then inside the place to second floor bedrooms. There was a bit of strong air freshener or cleaning agent smell in the master bedroom and some musty smell in the downstairs shower. We had to buy paper products (TP, towels) and trash bags for ourselves as there were no extras and on small amount stocked."

THE BUILDING :
Set over 120 sqm, Chalet Coralie is practical, well maintained and spacious enough to handle groups or families of between 6 to 8 Adults. You will have access to your own private Garage with enough space for two cars. The building is self contained and private despite being part of a wider block.

INSIDE :
There are three bedrooms with a further double sofa bed up on the small mezzanine level if you need the extra space, a family bathroom, as well as an ensuite shower and separate WC. Open planned living dining space and fully equipped kitchen will easily cater for your whole whole party. A fully equipped laundry room with both a washing and drying machine and a large separate ski room with boot dryers and plenty of hanging space.

OUTSIDE :
There is plenty of green space around the accommodation, with spectacular view of the whole Mont Blanc Mountain range. There is a garden and eating area outside which you can access from the double doors of the main living area and kitchen.

GREAT LOCATION :
Just off the main road to Argentiere 5 minutes before the Grand Montet lift and a short walk from the new Au Mont Chou boulangerie. You can also access the Ski du Fond trails behind the chalet (but please remember to buy your pass before you go..) cross over the main road to walk or mountain bike into Chamonix following the river.

GETTING AROUND :
The bus stop is a minute away from the residence with services up and down the valley.

USEFUL BITS :
Of course, there is WiFi, provided by Orange, it is not fibre (yet) but it is a pretty good service. If you need to book a transfer from Geneva Airport we recommend Haute Transfer, Mountain Drop Offs and Swiss Tours. We can help organise ski passes so that they are waiting for you when you arrive. Please ask if you have any questions.

The chalet is centrally located in Argentière, along ‘Chemin de Beugeant’. Guests are placed 5 minutes’ walk from the local resort village shops, restaurants, tourist information office and train station. The Les Grands Montets ski lift is 8 minutes’ drive away (a vast, varied area offering a wide range of pistes and extensive powder fields for off-piste enthusiasts).

Marmotte Mountain Manor is a stunning chalet dating back to 1668. One of the first chalets to be built in the Chamonix Valley - very old fashioned, charming and of great quality. The chalet consists of 3 levels, each level with spacious bedrooms and built in wardrobes. Marmotte Mountain Manor still has lots of its original wooden beams and stone archways throughout for guests to take a walk back in history. Situated in the centre of the magnificent ski resort of Argentière, this self-catering family chalet is divided into two flats with two independent entrances, for a total of 4 bedrooms plus a mezzanine with a total capacity of 8 guests.

Sunny and comfortable, the residence has a seasonal communal swimming pool, a tennis court and a communal garden for you to enjoy during your holiday. Inside, the main lounge is a welcoming space with sofas, a typical Savoyard dining room, direct access to the balcony and a fully equipped kitchen for a pleasant stay. Sleeping facilities include a comfortable master bedroom with a double bed and a mezzanine with 5 single beds. On the lower level, an independent area comprising a ski room with a boot warmer, 1 bedroom, a sitting area with a sofa bed, a kitchenette, shower and WC.

Location
The complex is close to all the skiing facilities – slopes, lifts, transfer buses. Given that the chalet is in central Argentière a car is not necessary, however, there is a private parking spot at the residence Chardonnet.

The charming village of Argentière spans the confluence of the rivers Arve and the Torrent de Lognan. It has everything that you could need: lively bars and excellent restaurants, good shops and of course, skiing. Close by there is Les Grands Montets skiing area and also some good cross country skiing tracks. For families with younger children, the Panda Club offers activities and ski lessons. During summer you can hike to the Glacier d’Argentière. There are other equally stunning hiking trails and also excellent mountain bike routes.

Geneva airport is 1hr and 25mins away by car. There are free shuttle services between Argentière and Chamonix, either by bus (22 mins) or by train (18mins), on the Mont Blanc Express.
