- "A perfect chalet if you have a car and want to stay in Samoens" - "We spent a week at Chalet Josaly in February 23. The accommodation was great. There were 4 large bedrooms, 3 of which were double beds with en-suite shower room and the 4th bedroom had bunk beds and no en-suite. There was an upstairs bathroom with washing machine and dryer in and a separate toilet. Downstairs was one of the 3 doubles with a toilet opposite the entrance to the room. The property was beautiful with great views of the mountains. It was lovely and warm, so much so that we often had a window or 2 open overnight to make sure it wasn’t too warm. We were 2 families of 4 and there was plenty of space for us all. There was a dartboard in the dining area that kept the kids busy as well as an outdoor hot tub which again the our daughters loved (kids ages 17/16/14/14). The owner also offers services such as a bakery pick up in the morning, you just have to order by 8pm the previous night. There is also a wine fridge in the property that you can buy wine from too which was super convenient when we ran out of wine (ashamed to admit that happened!). The owner was also very quick to respond with any queries we had so great communication though they admitted their English isn’t great but was absolutely fine to communicate with. Overall we had a lovely week at the chalet and would recommend it highly to anyone interested."

At the end of a dead end, quiet and yet only 5 minutes from the village square, the old lime tree, the terraces and the entertainment. We hope you will feel as good as we do!

Renovated to the highest standards and designed with families and groups in mind, the chalet is a real gem. It offers around 140m2 of accommodation arranged over 3 floors, creating a light and spacious, yet wonderfully cosy atmosphere with the blend of different woods, mixed with chic and contemporary alpine style. Upon entry to the chalet you are greeted by the light and spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The living area has plenty of seating with a large corner sofa and a separate sofa by the log burner. The kitchen offers ample space for large groups, with a large wooden table seating 10 people comfortably situated with corner bench and cushions, plus 4 funky black chairs for larger groups.

The kitchen is fully equipped and offers a hob in the central island and plenty of work space. There is a mid-height full sized oven with microwave above, a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and NESPRESSO machine, complete with starter capsules. There's ample crockery and dishes, plus extras such as fondue kit and raclette machines for cheese lovers. As a luxurious touch, the kitchen is equipped with locally sourced black granite worktops.

Glass french doors lead onto the huge south-facing veranda equipped with dining and lounging furniture. Steps lead down to the extensive garden area, which is home to the hot tub and boasts the largest flat garden we have ever offered in our portfolio! So the perfect place for a game of football or for kids to run around and play safely, not to mention more than enough space for snowball fights or snowman building!

The 270 degree views from all areas of the living and dining room are truly spectacular, beyond the open alpine pastures, a waterfall can be seen, as well as the ski domain in the distance. Behind the chalet is the infamous Criou mountain, a hike not to be missed for the spectualar views it offers!

The lower floor can be accessed either via the internal stairs or the parking area. Here is a large utility room with ample storage for skis and boots, bikes, as well as a washing machine and dryer and hanging space for drying all your gear. The games room offers table football and provides storage for extras such as badminton and boules. The lovely snug area can be converted into a 5th bedroom with use of the double sofa bed. There is a large TV and Playstation 4 which doubles as a DVD player. Please note the head height is approximately 185cm (6.07 feet) on this level.

The electricity used at Chalet Toubkal is provided by its own solar panels allowing you to enjoy an eco-friendly stay. Plus guests have use of a 10KW EV car charger

- "Chalet Toubkal was just superb for our family of four and my sister's family of five. This was the first time we had seen each other in 2 years due to Covid. Particular to our situation was age distribution of our kid group which had 4 middle schoolers (siblings of 2 boys, 2 girls ) and an 18-year-old. The house was just perfect for this group as the basement room was great for the oldest to have space to himself. The foosball table, the hot tub and board games were wonderful for when the kids needed some fun and when the parents needed them to be somewhere else... The PS4 would’ve been great - if we had allowed them to use it. But seriously, the charging cable for the controllers was missing FYI. The sauna was loads of fun. The fireplace, in contrast to our early concerns about whether there would be enough wood, was amply supplied and provided for extra winter cheer particularly for those of us cramped in an apartment in northern Europe without one. Incredibly well-equipped kitchen with only a sharpener/steel missing for the knife ware. We used the raclette machine as well as the cast iron casserole that fitted our Christmas leg of lamb. The beds were great as was the layout allowing for parental groups to have privacy while the kids had their space and easy access bathrooms. The house was very clean. On our last day we somehow entered the wrong input on the laundry thinking that we had a 45min cycle but somehow landed on a much longer cycle. Luckily for us the managerial staff was incredibly professional and flexible enough (thank you Katrin!) to give us a little extra time to complete our final laundry load before our drive out. Highly recommended for 9 people easily. It’s the kind of place one makes a note of for future returns."

You will also find a washing machine here. The utility room then leads out onto the south facing terrace, with table and chairs for alfresco dining, deck chairs, and a BBQ.

Upstairs on the 1st floor is an open plan living area, dining area and kitchen.

From this floor you access the master bedroom with ensuite, via the spiral staircase.

Chalet La Parenthèse is a contemporary , three-storey chalet for 15, with up to seven bedrooms and six bathrooms, as well as a cinema room, sauna, relaxation area and outdoor hot tub.

There are two double bedrooms on the first floor, each with a balcony, desk area and en-suite shower room. Five more bedrooms can be found on the top floor: two double rooms with desk and balconies; two rooms which can be arranged with large double beds or two single beds, also with balconies and desks (one also has an en-suite shower room) and a bunk room for up to six children. You'll also find a separate shower room and a bathroom on this floor.

This incredible home is an obvious choice for a large group of friends or family who like to spread out – apart from the seven main bedrooms mentioned above, groups of up to 15 who would like a little more space can use the two bedrooms and a shower room on the ground floor. Please check at the time of booking to ensure they are available.

On cold winter evenings, there's no place better than the huge squishy sofa in front of the fire, unless, of course, you'd prefer to watch a film on the huge squishy sofa in the cinema room! There's also a games room where children of all ages can let off steam.

The sauna and wellness area can be found on the ground floor, along with a ski store, laundry room and WC. There's more storage for skis and bikes in the garage, which has an electrical socket and spaces for two cars. There are three more parking spaces in front of the garage.

PLEASE NOTE: the maximum occupancy of the property is 15 people. In accordance with the fire safety regulations, the property complies with the provisions of the January 31, 1986 decree (later amended) for residential buildings. Therefore, although the property has beds for 22 people, the maximum occupancy of the chalet must not exceed 15 in order for it to comply with the provisions of the decree of 22 June 1990 related to establishments that provide public access.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We require a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.
