- "the location, the interior, sauna and hot bath tub TV - we could not find a french channel the kitchen is well equipped and in good shape - except the oven equipment- old and not clean. Also the mixer is british and not suited for french/ european standards" - "We had a truly fabulous week in Chalet Ardoisiere! The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 for accommodation is because my husband and I volunteered to sleep in the twin beds on the mezzanine (being kind Granny and Grammy and allowing the babies to be in with mummy and daddy) … it was a little lacking in space and privacy but really not a problem! After a day of skiing, relax in its private sauna or snuggle on the comfortable sofas with carpets, thick rugs and cozy throws. Get a great night’s sleep in the comfortable beds with sprung mattresses and super fine Egyptian cotton bedding. With a private ski locker and boot dryers, you can say goodbye to carrying equipment and wet fingers and toes. A variety of shops, restaurants, bakery, ski rental, supermarket and ski school are all within 100 metres. All of our chalets in La Falaise, Avoriaz, are a stone's throw from each other and are great options for booking with friends!

Arranged over 3 floors with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 toilets, the chalet is particularly suitable for 2 families as each floor has its own double room bunk room and bathroom and there is a 2nd living room perfect for a kids chill-out area complete with its own SMART TV.

Hall leads to double bedroom, bunk bedroom, sauna, 2 bathrooms with separate toilet on the ground floor; Stairs lead to the upper floor with a further double bedroom, bunk bedroom, shower room with toilet and the comfortable open plan living area with additional double sofa bed, dining area kitchen and balcony. The private sauna is located on the ground floor. Stairs lead down to the 2nd living room.

Chalet Neva has its own traditional Finnish sauna - what better way to relax your legs after a day on the slopes than in your own private sauna.



Kitchen, main living and dining room

The modern fitted kitchen has fully integrated BOSCH appliances, including a large oven, induction hob, microwave, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, raclette machine and Nespresso machine. There is enough crockery, cutlery and glasses for 10 people and a wide range of cooking aids and kitchen utensils. A selection of tea, sugar, coffee, salt, pepper, herbs, foil, dishwasher tablets, cleaning materials and toilet paper are provided.

The chalet is decorated in a cozy modern Alpine style with thick carpets, rugs, cushions and throws to snuggle up in your real home form home while enjoying the stunning mountain views from the panoramic windows and balcony.

On the lower ground floor is a 2nd living room complete with sofas and a 2nd SMART TV - perfect for kids to chill out with a movie after a busy day on the slopes.

- "Location is perfection - so easy to ski in/out, glorious bakery nearby and the supermarket across the way. Boot warmers were handy and it's a nice, spacious entry which helps when you're trying to untangle kids from boots, etc! In-house team, Sophie & Luca were really lovely, nothing was too much trouble - we had a few issues while there and they sorted things - excellent communication! Chalet is warm, and cosy, and what a view of the village - honestly, the location is to die for! The chalet comfortably sleeps 8 - anymore would be a real squeeze, (we were a party of 8 plus a baby) - and although the little cosy den for the kids was brilliant, it is a bit of a squeeze with everyone in the kitchen. We would definitely stay again though - it really was brilliant - thank you to Nikki and team! Baby-kit - already raised, but a highchair needs to be provided for the babies. Cot also could do with a mattress."

GROUND FLOOR

Store your skis in the ski rack in the private indoor secured and heated porch, and warm your boots and gloves on the boot heaters, ensuring dry and toasty feet and hands every day.

Enter through to the main living area with panoramic mountain views. There is an exceptionally well equipped kitchen complete with BOSCH oven, microwave, warming drawer and 4 plate induction hob. There is a full size American fridge freezer complete with chilled filtered water, ice maker and wine cave. The large dining table at one end can accommodate up to 8 guests, the living room is comfortable and cozy with quality furnishings and a discretely wall mounted 43" SMART TV. The perfect environment for chilling after skiing, or leaving the kids for a movie night and exploring Avoriaz’s best restaurants and bars just a short stroll from the front door. There is also a modern stylish bathroom equipped with a power shower, basin and toilet.



MEZZANINE

With a pleasant surface and high-end equipment, with its independent entrance you will feel like you are staying in a chalet:

Chalet Poudreuse has 6 good-sized en-suite bedrooms over two floors, each one with a shower and one room has a bath to soak in too. Five rooms have twin beds that can be made up as doubles; please request at booking. One room has a double bed and a bunk bed. All rooms have flat screen TV’s. The first floor is a spacious, vaulted, living area with an open-plan kitchen-diner and lounge area with a flatscreen TV, DVD player and music system, fireplace (modern log burner) and a balcony boasting panoramic views, including stunning sunsets. This chalet also has a boot room. To help relax further there is a sauna on the lower ground floor.

- "We are two families with 5 children between us. All 9 of us have had a truly wonderful week in this beautiful self contained traditional chalet. The views are amazing over the pistes and the sun sets have been spectacular. The chalet is very clean, warm and comfortable, and well stocked for cooking for a variety of needs. The 4th bedroom is a little exposed (above lounge) but we were fully expecting that from the pictures so our teenage daughter had agree to sleep there and she absolutely loved it. She didn't want to move out! Communication prior to arrival, and during our stay (if required), was excellent. We arrived earlier that expected and Christine was so welcoming and allowed us to move in 90 mins early which made for a relaxing start. We are mixed ability skiers and borders and the location was perfect for us all. The ability to ski in and out everyday made for a great start and end to every outing and meant we could pop back for lunch if the younger children wanted a rest. The run through town did get slushy by afternoon, but the kids found it great fun returning and getting stuck in the odd puddle! And, there is a public lift next to bowling alley we discovered which meant trips to ski school were easy (down lift and hop onto chair lift to meeting points) and the snowborders used it to get home and avoid the late afternoon town run as not so great for them. We have had a perfect week, would absolutely love to return here and hope to do so next year."
