The Morillon station is part of the Grand Massif ski area which rises to 2500 m above sea level. The 5 stations (Flaine, Les Carroz, Morillon, Samoëns and Sixt), all linked together, offer 265 km of alpine ski slopes spread over 135 pistes. The Morillon-Samoëns site also offers numerous cross-country ski trails.

The chalet is located between the traditional village of Morillon, 700 m above sea level and the village of 'Les Esserts' at 1100 m in the heart of the ski area.

Morillon is located 3.5 km from Samoëns, 12 km from Les Gets, 25 km from Morzine-Avoriaz and 55 km from Chamonix.

The location for Morillon is fantastic and the property is clean and well catered for two families to share. An overall wonderful stay!" - "Chalet was perfect for our family skiing holiday. We were lucky as the chalet owners were also in Morillon (on holiday) the week we stayed. Hosts greeted us when we arrived and showed us how all the facilities in the chalet worked and also pointed out the facilities in the village. Hosts were very helpful throughout our stay. Ski bus stop is short walk away from chalet. Ski buses take you / pick you up from Morillon Tele Cabin or Samoëns Tele Cabin. There is good intermediate skiing in both of these locations and you can ski across to Carroz and Flaine on blue runs easily. (We had some beginner skiers with us). There is a lovely restaurant with views across to Mont Blanc at Flaine 2500 which I would recommend! After dropping off our skis and boots at the chalet at the end of the day, we walked back to the main street of Morillon village and shopped for our tea most days. (15 minute walk from the chalet). We found the small food shop (Vival) and the bakery in Morillon met all our needs. There is also a pharmacy, butchers, ski-hire shops, couple of pubs and restaurants in the same area. There is a supermarket in Samoëns but you would need a car to drive there (or take a taxi). The chalet has a large garage area which is very useful for storing skis / boots / shoes/ coats etc. This area is not heated. The children loved the play room in the basement and spent a lot of time in here! There is a washing machine and dryer in here if you need these. Cooking facilities are good if you are self-catering: induction hobs, full oven, microwave, kettle, toaster. There are plenty of pots / pans / serving bowls etc. The kitchen also has a large fridge / freezer. There are no free cupboards for storing food in the kitchen, but there is a large dresser unit in the garage which we used to store our food. The large dining table seated us all very comfortably. The beds were very comfy and the chalet layout suited us perfectly. Some things you could take with you: hand soap x 2 (for the bathrooms), dish washer tablets, tea-towels. We hired hand and bath towels from the chalet owner."

Chalet Chouette is a charming 4 bedroom chalet, perfect for small groups, conveniently situated only a 5 minute walk to the Morillon ski lift and village centre and lac bleu.
Chalet Chouette is a very well-proportioned chalet, set out over three floors. The chalet was built by local artisans, and exudes a traditional alpine charm.
On the middle floor of Chalet Chouette is a lovely open plan kitchen, dining and living area. The well-equipped kitchen has plenty of workspace and cupboards, with everything you could possibly need for a week away. The living room has comfy sofas and a wonderful wood burning stove, to relax around after a long day on the mountain. The living floor is light and airy, and has patio doors which open up onto a covered outside dining area, and the south facing balcony, which wraps right around the chalet. There is a library of books for all to enjoy. Also on this floor is a bedroom and separate bathroom and WC.

On the top floor are the further three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms share a “Jack and Jill” style shower room, making them ideal for families. These bedrooms can either be set up as twins or doubles, depending on your requirements. The master bedroom on this level is large and sunny, with built in wardrobes and doors leading onto a private balcony with stunning mountain views. It also boasts an ensuite with bath, sink, WC and heated towel radiator.
Please note that it is also possible to sleep a further two guests on a sofa bed in the living area.

On the ground floor of the chalet is the entrance hall, with more storage, a washing machine and tumble dryer, and also access to the large garage for storing skis, snowboards and bikes.
Chalet Chouette has a stunning sizable garden to the rear, which is very secluded, offering a large lawn, BBQ and south facing views. To the front of the chalet is parking for three cars.

Chalet Balmat is located above Morillon village and within a practical distance to the ski lift. The location is perfect for privacy and to enjoy an authentic mountain experience. It takes less than 10 minutes by car to reach the ‘Telecabine de Morillon’ lift connecting you to the Grand Massif ski domain in winter, which boasts some of the best skiing in the world. Suitable for all levels, there is over 275km of piste and 139 slopes to explore and plenty of off-piste for more advanced skiers. In the summer, this area is a hub for adventure sports such as hiking, mountain biking, climbing and paragliding.

A car is essential at this chalet. However for larger groups, or those with a scattered arrival time, you may additionally opt for a transfer service directly from Geneva Airport, which will take you directly to the chalet. We recommend contacting the chalet’s very own conciergerie, or if there is no availability, please contact Mountain Lifts or Go Massif. For bookings between November – April, we recommend that you have a 4×4 or at the very least, snow chains in your car. The road is ploughed 2 – 3 times daily but it is always a good idea to arrive prepared for heavy snow conditions. if it snows heavily during the daytime. It is legal requirement in the French Alps to come equipped with snow chains that specifically fit you vehicle

Other details:
A car is essential to get around. The chalet is located above the main village. It takes around 5 minutes to reach the ski lift and snow chains may be required during periods of heavy snow. There is no ski bus.

Though rare - due to the mountain location - it is also possible that the wi-fi internet is at times slower depending on weather and time of year.

Pet Policy:
We are dog-friendly and can accept one small/medium, well behaved & house trained dog at an extra charge of €100. We ask that all furry guests are kept out of bedrooms and prevented from climbing onto furniture. All dog litter should be removed from exterior spaces (garden, porch, patio and green spaces around the property). Pets must be declared at the time of booking, with details including age, breed, size and temperament.

Chalet Jornata can accommodate up to 10 people (max eight adults) right in the centre of Morillon village. Just 100m from the ski lifts and 1km from the lake, you'll have access to superb mountain activities all year round. And at the end of a busy day, you can relax in the hot tub in the garden or get together for a game of petanque on the dedicated court.

The property has four bedrooms, spread over three floors. There is one double room with an en-suite shower room, another with a desk and TV, and a third double room with an extra single bed and washbasin. Finally, there is a children’s room with three single beds under the eaves. The bedrooms on the top floor share a large shower room and separate toilet. The first floor has a separate toilet. The ground floor has a shower room with toilet.

On the first floor is the bright kitchen and living room, which is furnished with an L-shaped sofa, TV, dining table and wood-burning stove, creating a cosy atmosphere. This area opens onto a south-facing terrace with a small table and barbecue. The ground floor has a cosy reading room, equipped with board games and a fridge, providing an ideal space to relax after the day's activities.

The chalet is surrounded by a large, secure garden, with plenty of room for children to play. There is also a second terrace, with a table seating eight, perfect for al fresco dining.

We hope that you will love staying in our new family chalet (185m2) as much as we do. With 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, it is perfect to host up to 3 families or a large group of friends (up to 14) who want to enjoy winter sports or summer outdoor activities. A free ski bus which stops at the bottom of the garden will take you to the Grand Massif ski area in a few minutes. Warm up in the sauna and next to the fireplace after a day of skiing or dive into the heated pool in the summer!

Our family chalet is ideally located 10 minutes walk (650m) from the Morillon cable cars or a few minutes by free shuttle (stop in front of the chalet) from the new Vercland cable cars.

We wanted it to be contemporary in style while being warm with wood on the walls and an ethanol fireplace.

It is on 3 levels.

On the ground floor you will find:

- a large entrance with a bench and large cupboards that will allow you to store your ski clothes and ski boots
- a sauna (multicoloured LED lights with a remote control)
- a double bedroom (queen-size bed) with cupboard
- a TV lounge with sofa
- a large bathroom with toilet and laundry room (washing machine and dryer)

A staircase leads to the 1st floor. You arrive in a large open living room composed of a lounge with a large sofa and armchairs to peacefully enjoy the ethanol fireplace. A balcony allows you to enjoy the views of all the peaks, especially the Criou and the Bourgeoise. You then go into the dining room which can accommodate up to 12 people then into the fully equipped open kitchen with an island with 4 bar stools. From the dining room you have access to a large, very sunny wooden terrace.
A separate toilet as well as a large shower room and a double bedroom (queen-size bed) with closet and chest of drawers are also on the 1st floor.

A beautiful black steel staircase leads to the 2nd floor where you will find a double bedroom (queen-size bed) with adjoining shower room and WC, a large bathroom with WC as well as a bedroom with a bunk bed and two single beds and another with 2 single beds that can be pushed together to make a queen-size bed.

The exterior is being developed but will be completed for spring 2025. The 8m x 3.70m swimming pool (1.5m deep) is heated from mid-June to mid-September.

In walking distance from Morillon bakery, pharmacist, doctor and grocery shop. 5 min to large Carrefour supermarket. 7 min by car to Samoens.

This cottage, perfectly located in a family condominium, is the perfect place for a relaxing and fun stay. It includes a cozy living room with a sofa bed for two, an equipped kitchen, and a friendly dining room. The cottage has two bedrooms: one with a double bed, the other with two single beds, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. For your convenience, a parking space and two ski lockers are available. In the common areas, enjoy a washing machine (for a fee), a gym, an indoor pool and a sauna (free).

Beautiful chalet with a upper in all wood, built on the heights of the village of Morillon facing the peak of Criou.
On the ground floor :
Entrance / vestibule with many and large closets.
Access to the garage for deposit skis & shoes, luggage.
In a part isolated by a corridor:
  1 master bedroom with wardrobe
  1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds of 90 cm
a renovated bathroom with shower, as well as separate WC.

On the floor: In a traditional interior all in wood.
A comfortable and spacious lounge with a large bay window overlooking the Giffre Valley and the Criou.
In an isolated part of the living room and kitchen by a corridor;
1 master bedroom with sleigh bed (140) with wardrobes

There is a second double room and one triple bedroom with bunk beds and 1 single. The family bathroom features a shower in a low bath, ideal for after ski relaxing and for bathing children.
An oak staircase leads to a wooden cathedral-roofed open plan living space with a fully fitted kitchen, bar, dining table and comfortable living area with relaxing sofas (one double sofa-bed) and 360degree views of snow capped mountains. Wonderful floor to ceiling windows open onto a balcony with beautiful scenery in all directions.

The chalet is equipped with programmed electric radiators, present in all the bedrooms and living rooms. The living room has a pellet stove that will provide you with all the extra heat you need if needed. 3 bags of pellets will be provided for a one-week rental. However, its use will require very simple but mandatory maintenance, otherwise the stove will stop working. A guide will explain how to do it.
A wood stove is also present, but for safety reasons, it must not be used.

Cleaning: cleaning at the end of the rental is included in the price of the accommodation. We obviously want the accommodation to be generally clean when you leave.

The space
This little paradise is an unusual artist's house, composed of different universes to delight and inspire the imagination of young and old alike!

The view of the Giffre Valley and its magnificent mountains is breathtaking. The chalet is located on a 1000 m² fenced plot, bordering the forest, surrounded by a stream, and offering a 180° view of the valley! It features a 40 m² terrace, where you can descend a slide and a 40 m² treetop adventure net where children (and adults!) can have fun in complete safety.

The living room is topped with a 4 m² catamaran net and a 2 m² net walkway (where children can also sleep) overlooking two cathedral windows and topped with a bookcase. You can relax in the Jules Verne alcove, which features four electric beds to adjust your comfort, and offers a truly incredible view of the mountains! This alcove can be completely closed at night thanks to blackout curtains, making it a very cozy sleeping space for children and adults alike. Under this alcove are pedestals that can be used as benches and dining tables for the little ones! The dining table has 6 built-in seats but can accommodate 8 guests with additional stools. A pole dance bar and a trapeze bar will brighten up your days and evenings! I also have a music keyboard available for music lovers!

The kitchen is brand new and fully equipped, with a refrigerator, dishwasher, induction hob, high-tech oven, microwave, toaster, espresso machine, French press coffee makers, kettle, raclette and fondue sets, and a host of kitchen utensils. Plenty of storage space—everything you need for cooking, baking, and enjoying culinary moments! Spices, condiments, oils, sauces, coffee, tea, and everything else you need are available!

The master bedrooms are located on the lower floor, which features a Gaudi-style bathroom with a shower and corner bathtub, light therapy, and a separated princess toilet!

The exterior, very green and rustic, is filled with relaxation areas and is now fully fenced. It gives you access to the small stream surrounding the property and the forest bordering the house, both with breathtaking views!

It's a very calm and peaceful environment, far from the road and its noise, in the heart of nature, yet very close to amenities, so you're guaranteed a relaxing break!

Please note: for people with reduced mobility, access to the chalet is 100 meters from the parking space and involves about thirty steps. It's very accessible on foot, but unfortunately not yet in a wheelchair... (but I'm fighting for it!)

For those with allergies, you should also know that a cat, Shakado, adorable and very cuddly, lives here, independently (cat flap).

The chalet is located a 5-minute walk from the Giffre River, a 10-minute walk from the Lac Bleu de Morillon leisure center, and a 3-minute drive from the ski lifts leading to the ski area. Numerous hiking trails are also accessible from the house without needing to take the car!

I would like to rent my house (which is the apple of my eye and my life's work) to people who appreciate the originality and dreamlike atmosphere of this chalet, but who will respect the spirit and soul of this chalet. It is ideal for a family as it is very fun for children and adults alike!
