The chalet is literally on the ski slope and guarantees a real 'ski-in / ski-out' experience. The village of Champoussin is directly connected to the beautiful Portes du Soleil ski area, one of the largest in the world (650 km).

The interior and exterior of the chalet offer you a breathtaking panoramic view of the Dents du Midi, the snow-covered mountains across the valley.

The original Swiss wooden chalet is tastefully decorated with a local touch. It consists of a cozy living room with wood burning stove, a new fully equipped open kitchen, and a dining area. Renting a Snow cat:

On the first day, you can rent a Snow cat to carry all groceries + luggage + skis + 2 persons in the cabin. The snow cat belongs to the ski resort and you have to reserve it 8 days in advance at the following website:

The snow cat is huge and can take 2 persons (no more for safety reasons) and all the things mentioned above. The snowcat service costs CHF-90.
On the way down it is much easier and it is usually done on skis or by foot. However, you can rent a snow cat for the way down also!.
Otherwise be sure to bring your belongings in backpacks in order to facilitate the walk up to the chalet. Several roundtrips are to be expected. Allow 10 minutes for the ascent, a little less downhill.

Car parking:

Parking has a roof (35CHF for the week per vehicle). It is located in the center of the resort. After parking, it takes 10 minutes walk on an easy blue groomed run uphill to reach the chalet.

ESS:

The Swiss Ski School (ESS) is located at the parking lot 10 minutes walk from the cottage (1mn skiing). Individual and collective classes are available for children and adults for all levels of skiing.

Night skiing

Night skiing every Saturday until 7PM and every Wednesday until 9PM

One gives you access to an easy short blue run all the way down to the chalet.

Mon Repos is a real family chalet with a vast array of board games, puzzles, a library, a lounge area and children’s games room with table tennis table. The exterior

Mon Repos dates back to the 1900s and has been part of our family for over 40 years. During this time we have had it professionally renovated, keeping the exterior as close to its original look as possible.

In 2009 the chalet was extensively renovated and insulated. The main changes were to the old hayloft, which is now a comfortable living space, but totally designed in keeping with traditional Swiss heritage style.

The chalet is two storeys high and has two verandas. At the front, the large deck has a dining table and that amazing view of the Dents du Midi; here you can catch the beautiful morning sun. To the side of the house there is a covered deck which catches the afternoon and evening sun and where you store your skis etc.

The private driveway provides parking space for three cars, but any extra cars can be parked on the road; although please bear in mind the road is cleared twice a day during winter, as early as between 7 and 8 am. You should also make sure you have a set of snow chains for your car, just to be sure you can drive safely.

Ground level

The spacious entrance hall has enough space to hang your coats, warm your (ski) boots and has a low heating shelf for hats, gloves and mittens. Skis and snowboards can be stored on the covered deck outside the entrance. Off the hall there is a separate toilet and shower.

From the hall you come straight into a large dining-kitchen room with electric stove, fridge/freezer, washing machine and two sinks. The kitchen table can be extended to seat 12.

Go through the kitchen to enter the cosy living room with its open fire and large outside deck with uninterrupted views of the Dents du Midi; a quiet spot to relax and read, solve a puzzle or play a board game.

You access the downstairs bedrooms through another door in the kitchen.

There are three downstairs bedrooms; the master bedroom with two large single beds and views of the Dents du Midi and two more rooms - one with a bunkbed and the other with a double bed and views of the mountains above Villars.

There is a bathroom with bath, hand shower and toilet. You get to the upper storey by the internal staircase in these downstairs sleeping quarters.

Upper level

The former hayloft has recently been transformed into a spacious lounge area with TV/VCR, a kitchenette, a large children’s play area with table tennis table, a bathroom with toilet and shower and three large bedrooms.

The bedrooms consist of two double bedrooms and one with two single beds. Two of the rooms have a beautiful, unobstructed view of the Dents du Midi.

The Les Crosets resort at 1'700m above sea level is part of the Portes du Soleil ski area, considered the largest international domain connected to the world with its 12 French-Swiss resorts offering more than 650km of marked pistes served by around 200 mechanical installations. A true natural reserve of powder in the heart of the Alps, where the skier evolves in a preserved environment. The lifts are discreet in a wooded nature, trails slalom in the heart of pastures and forests, skirting here and there chalets several centuries. The estate enjoys exceptional snow conditions from mid-November to the end of April, with a cumulative snowfall of nearly 8 m on average per year. In the summer, the Portes du Soleil ski area is the realm of hiking and mountain biking. Located between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, it offers unlimited hiking and biking possibilities! Under the sight of the Dents du Midi, the seven spectacular peaks rising to more than 3,000 meters above sea level, the Crosets resort is part of the town of Val d'Illiez, which owes its fame to a long thermal tradition. In summer like all the rest of the year, thermal water springs naturally in the basins.

Airplane, Train or Car - your choice. Option A: The Airplane The closest airports to Les Crosets are in Bex (LSGB) and Sion (SIR). For international flights, Geneva is the nearest airport, an hour and a half from Les Crosets. Geneva Airport is the best served by European airports. - Then there are four ways of transfers between the airport and Les Crosets 1. By Train the mode of transport that we recommend because Swiss trains are fast and on time. The train station is located in the airport terminal, less than 10 minutes from baggage delivery. The transfer takes about an hour and a half to discover the north shore of beautiful Lake Geneva, to the village of Aigle, where one of our team members will welcome you for the short drive to the Crosets. Otherwise, you have the possibility to continue your train journey to Monthey, and then to Val-d'Illiez. No need to book your tickets - they can be purchased at the train station counter at Geneva Airport. 2. By Taxi There are many independent companies that offer transfers from the airport. 3. Car rental Car rental at the airport is very reasonably priced. In addition, this gives you the advantage of additional flexibility during your stay. All major car rental companies are based at Geneva airport, but it is important to note that you must go to the Swiss side to take possession and to return your car as well. If you're traveling with EasyJet, it's easy to book your car at the same time as your flight. Option B: The Train The SNCF offers very fast trains from Paris to Lausanne - then take a train to the village of Aigle, where one of our team members will welcome you for the short drive to the Crosets. Otherwise, you have the possibility to continue your train journey to Monthey, and then to Val-d'Illiez. Option C: The Car The Via Michelin website is very useful for planning your trip. If you choose to come by car, do not forget to buy the Swiss motorway vignette, available online on the Swiss Travel Center website or when you go to Swiss customs.

Chalet Eden, 4 Story Family Chalet enjoys a location in Champéry, 22 miles from Train Station Montreux and 20 miles from Chillon Castle. Guests staying at this chalet have access to a patio. Opening to a terrace with mountain views, all units have a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven. The chalet "Hocus" is superbly located in the hamlet of Crettet-Bornez at 1850m above sea level, 1.5 km upstream from Les Crosets station. Les Crosets is located in the center of the Portes du Soleil, on the Swiss side, 1/2 hour from Avoriaz.

When conditions allow, this location also offers a departure and return to the chalet, ski-in ski-out.

The chalet "Hocus" pleasantly and comfortably accommodates 10 to 11 people.

The chalet is very spacious (over 200m²). It was renovated and redecorated in 2016 in the "family chalet" spirit to make your stay even more pleasant.

The ground floor includes a large living room with open fire, dining room for 12 people, a fully equipped American kitchen, an office / Internet corner, a cloakroom and a separate toilet.

The upper floor is made up of 4 bedrooms: a south-facing bedroom with a view of the Dents du Midi comprising a 180x200 double bed and communicating with one of the bathrooms; a second bedroom facing south with a view of the Dents du Midi with a 160x200 double bed; one bedroom with two single beds and one bedroom with three single beds. This floor also includes 2 bathrooms, each with bath, shower and toilet. A large south-facing balcony completes this floor.

The lower floor consists of a bedroom with a double bed (or 2 single beds that can be separated) with direct access to the outside; a shower room, a separate toilet, TV lounge with DVD player and DVDs and a utility room with washing machine and dryer.

For your return from skiing or hiking, a large space has just been fitted out in a ski room with boot dryers, benches and large storage spaces.

Throughout the day, you will enjoy its superb south-facing terrace and the magnificent view of the Dents du Midi and the village of Les Crosets.

For your comfort, we put at your disposal a raclette machine, a stone machine, fondue pots, as well as all the equipment necessary for young children: a high chair, a cot and baby bedding, plates and cutlery in plastic,... A second fridge and a large freezer are also available.
