Chalet Silver Fern is a newly built, architecturally designed Chalet, fitted to the highest specification and spread over 3 floors (approximately 190m2). The kitchen and large living/dining area are connected by a breakfast bar, perfect for entertaining. The kitchen is sleek and modern and fitted with two ovens, an induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge freezer with integrated icemaker, and a Nespresso coffee machine. The living area has a plenty of seating with views out to the mountains, a generous dining area with a table capable of sitting 12 and a TV nook (with English and French channels). There are 5 double bedrooms which are all very spacious with extremely comfortable beds, capable of being zipped together as super kings or left separate as singles. Four of the bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms. The fifth bedroom is part of a family suite, with a smaller, single sixth bedroom and a bathroom, with a bath and separate shower, to share. There is a cosy TV room with a 65" TV (with French and English TV), a ski boot warmer, and a utility room with washing machine and dryer. The chalet is 900m from the bottom of the Super Morzine Telecabine (in the centre of Morzine - free shuttle bus about 100m away) or 10 minutes drive (or free shuttle bus) to the Ardent lift up to Avoriaz. Access to Les Gets is available from the centre of Morzine. There is a newly installed, hot spa pool on one of the two private deck areas. There is outside parking and a double garage. Our property manager will meet you at the property and can organise lift passes and ski hire. Geneva is the closest airport 90km away and there are numerous shuttle companies operating from there who will drop off and pick up at the chalet.

Charming little alpine chalet with all mod cons, located in the tourist village of Lindarets (alt. 1500m). The hamlet is ideally nestled in the heart of the Portes du Soleil area and its 600km of slopes. In summer, it is nicknamed "the village of goats", the animals roam in total freedom among the thirty chalets. Winter is a must for skiers who want to enjoy a magnificent view from one of the terraces of one of the village restaurants.
The chalet is located at the edge of a small track which joins the domain, we open the door, we put on the skis and presto, let's go! It is the ideal point to discover the pleasures of the mountains, winter and summer. Lively during the day, completely isolated at night, you will feel privileged in this magical place!
"Le Cabri" is arranged on 2 levels, each about 40m2. On the ground floor a small sitting area with sofa bed and a large TV. Then a dining room with large table and a bright fitted kitchen. - "Our first ever Ski holiday and not a clue where to start. I started trawling the internet for chalets to sleep 16 people and Winterfell caught my eye. It was exactly what we were looking for - modern and luxurious, but cosy! From booking all those months ago to the last day of our stay, Matei (the owner) was amazing at communicating, replying quickly to emails and giving us lost of advice about the area, ski schools etc. He also suggested about hiring his mini bus, which was such a bonus for our large group. Matei himself was there to greet us when we arrived and proudly showed us around his beautiful holiday home, telling us everything we needed to know over a glass of champagne on the sunny terrace. The chalet itself is just as beautiful as the photos, if not more so. It’s in a beautiful sunny position with amazing views of the mountains and slopes in the distance. We had a party of 8 adults and 8 children staying in the chalet, and the space was absolutely amazing! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our first Ski Holiday, we absolutely loved it and are all itching to return again. Natalie, Vicki and the rest of the gang!"

- "A spacious, warm and comfortable chalet with great facilities and in good proximity to the bus stop to access the ski lifts. Check-in and out was easy, at the office in Morzine, and the staff very friendly. Unfortunately, we had no oven for our Xmas Day dinner but it was fixed the following evening, after emailing the property manager. There is a lovely local Italian pizza restaurant for take-away or eat-in and a small supermarket for basic supplies; both are a 3 minute walk away in Montriond. We also enjoyed the 20 minute walk into Morzine, along the river past the donkeys and horses - simply stunning."

The rental price is for the chalet on a self catered basis however If you would like the option of breakfast either being served or just delivered then this can be arranged at an additional cost . An evening meal can also be supplied if you wish.

LOUNGE

There is a log fire at the chalet. Wood and kindling are supplied - Should you need help lighting the fire or wish us to light the fire for you before your return from the slopes then we are happy to help.

LOCATION

The chalet is situated 2km on the flat from the centre of Morzine. It takes just 30 minutes to walk to town by foot. During the winter season there are free buses that take you to town. The nearest bus stop is just 200m on the flat from the chalet. In the winter the buses run approximately every 10 minutes from 7.50am until 7.30pm. The bus journey into town is 5 minutes and it drops off at both the supermorzine télécabine for Access to the Avoriaz Ski Area and the Pleney télécabine for access to the Morzine-Les Gets Ski Area.
If you need ski hire, then we recommend using a shop right by the bus stop and the ski lift. They allow you to leave your skis there over night and have heated boot dryers for your ski boots.

In the evenings when the buses are no longer running and you would like to go into town for drinks, then there is the option of a 30minute walk on the flat, or we can arrange a taxi for you - a minibus for 8 people costs in the region of 15 euro

There is free parking for a maximum of 5 cars at the chalet.

When you enter the chalet on your left is the living room. In front of you , another door leading to the balcony with mountain views and which goes around the cottage. On your right is the dining room area. The kitchen (to the right of the dining area) is very functional.

In winter, it's accessible via gondola , then a 300-meter walk on the slopes.
The chalet is located in the small village of Lindarets through which the ski run passes.
during the day, the place is very lively because the place is atypical and skiers like to stop there to eat (4 restaurants open from 8am to 5pm).
From 6 p.m. , it is the great calm after the ball of the groomers!
In the morning you put on your skis and let's go.
You're on the Portes du Soleil, one of the largest ski areas in Europe.
From May to November, you can access the village by car, free parking allows you to park.
This hamlet is known for its goats that roam freely during the day, children have a lot of fun, and restaurants and shops are open during the day.
This is also the starting point of many walks, the advantage is that you will not have the car to take !
A 10-minute drive away is Lake Montriond and the Ardent Waterfall, a cool but very pleasant swim.

For arrival : drop off your car at the Ardents car park (free). you take your pass for the week and you can already rent your skis (correct rates offered and convenient !). Then you get into the cable car with your luggage.

A charming traditional chalet, completely refurbished, in the heart of Portes du Soleil, Europe's biggest ski-resort.

The chalet has 4 bedrooms with new boxprings size 200x220, a living room and a dining room with a great view, doors to the terrace and open kitchen. Great chalet for holidays with family or friends in winter and summer!

The space
A cozy wooden chalet, with beautiful views both from the house and from the terrace. 4 cozy bedrooms with new luxury box spring beds of 200x220. A cozy lounge room to read or watch a movie via the Smart TV. Internet is available in the house.

The house has a bathroom with shower. On the first floor is a bathroom with toilet, sink and a hip bath. Ideal for holidays with small children.

The chalet is dated 1964, and made of wood. Therefor not perfectly isolated so you might experience creaking floors and the top rooms are noisy.

The house has a balcony / terrace with astonishing view of 180 degrees over the valley of Morzine and Essert Romand and offers sun from morning to evening.

Morzine and the surrounding area offers a lot of entertainment in both summer and winter.

The following ski areas can be reached within 10 minutes drive by car from the chalet: Avoriaz via Les Lindarets, Morzine, Les Gets and La Grande Terche in St. Jean D'Aulps.

The large Carrefour supermarket is a 5 minute drive away.

The chalet is completely yours to enjoy. You have a private parkinglot for 3-4 cars.

Upon arrival, your beds are covered and you will find a towel for everyone in 3 sizes (100x140, 50 x 100 and 30x55). These costs are included in the rental price. We use an administrator.

The space
Cozy chalet located in a small village of about fifteen chalet, two rental ski equipment and two bar, no building or inconvenience of the large resorts, the advantages of a quiet place having access to the largest ski area in France with its 650 km of slopes, ideal to rest during a sports holiday in the open air of the mountain.

In winter, the gondolas with direct access to the Domaine des Porte du Soleil (Avoriaz side) are 2 minutes walk away, a groomed path passes in front of the chalet, allowing you to return from your ski-in/ski-out day. Snowshoeing hikes possible directly from the chalet.
You will find enough to rent the equipment in the village 2 minutes by foot.
You can also go down to the lake by toboggan or on foot (15 minutes).

In summer, you will have access to multiple hikes from the chalet. The cottage is also a 30-minute walk or a 5-minute drive from the goat village (Les Lindarets).

You can also enjoy the river that passes a few meters from the chalets.
Departures from DH slopes ( mountain biking ), are at the ski lifts 1 minute away where you will have access to the Domaine des Porte du Soleil ( Avoriaz, Châtel, Morzine, Les Gets).

And a 15-minute drive away, you can go to the Morzine estates or Les Gets.

Unusually, the kitchen is separate from the main living area, keeping the noise and smells of cooking apart. There's also a separate utility room where you can leave all of your outdoor gear.
