- "Very well equipped Chalet in the middle of the mountain. 5 mins away from the ski slopes (Les Contamines). Amazing welcome upon arrival and very helpful family. Recommended ++++" - "This is a lovely little chalet. So cosy and warm with everything you need. Plenty of firewood to keep the burner going. It’s so quiet too, surrounded by hills with the only sound being the river at the base of the valley and the gentle ring of the cow bells. The beds are comfy with plenty of blankets. The description says bring bed sheets etc but they were made up for us on arrival, so it wasn’t necessary this time (check). The kitchen is small, but has a full size fridge and freezer. Other than some tea and coffee there isn’t anything else so bring all the food/drink you need for your first night. There were some toiletries such as handwash, shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom which was a nice touch. The nearest shop is in Les Saises with a larger Intermarche a bit of a further drive. If you are planning on walking I’d recommend the app Traces Alpine which was really good for routes local to the area. A really lovely little chalet in the most wonderful environment. "
