A stay at the chalet enables guests to combine enjoying peace and quiet, stunning views, and opportunities to observe wildlife up close and personal, with proximity to a great ski resort set in the heart of the Aravis mountains, just a short drive away, and the fabulous Lake Annecy and Annecy itself a little further. It's no wonder guests frequently return to Chalet Morclan!

Chalet Morclan sits on the crest of a hill and therefore has amazing, virtually 360 degree panaormic views. Summer and winter enjoy the views of the beautiful Manigod valley from the large deck area which wraps around two sides of the chalet. Follow the sunshine, with a different view for each meal!

There is a flat garden above the chalet with trampoline and table tennis. The hot tub sits at one end of the deck, so that guests can appreciate the scenery while relaxing in the bubbles. Furnishings, soft furnishings and deco are changed regularly, equipment, games, books etc are also checked and updated often to ensure guests enjoy a fresh and clean holiday experience. There is an open fire in the lounge, and the largest bedroom upstairs also has a TV and seating, meaning guests can spread out if they so wish.

Please note: the drive to the chalet is quite steep, every effort will be made to have it cleared of snow on arrival and departure days, be aware you may need to leave your car at the bottom of the drive and walk up. Furthermore, the shed (mazot) by the parking belongs to a neighbouring farmer, who needs occasional access to the equipment within all year round. Please do not park in front of it. IMPORTANT – Due to the harsh Alpine weather, the summer deck furniture (including the angled parasols), is not available from the end of the October/November French school holidays, until the end of April. Instead, we provide all-weather seating plus a picnic table with benches for guests to use.For guest safety, the trampoline is not available from the end of the October/November French school holidays, until the end of April. The property is not suitable for guests with restricted mobility.

Virtually every window is like the frame of a picture postcard! With very good quality workmanship and craftsmanship throughout the build itself, natural fabrics and colours, a hammam and an outdoor jacuzzi thrown into the mix too, this property is ideal for a family a group of friends, or couples.

The chalet stands alone at the top of a meadow with the forest behind, above a farm where you can purchase very fresh milk, cheese and butter. You will need a car to access the ski slopes and the local shops, there are some beautiful walks from the front door.

Please note this chalet is a semi-detached property, particular attention was paid to high-quality sound proofing during construction. For electric vehicle owners, a flat-rate fee of €50 will be charged upon arrival at the chalet to cover the cost of the electricity needed to recharge the batteries. The access to the separate hammams for each apartment is via the garage. The maximum capacity of the chalet is 8 people + 1 baby sleeping in a travel cot. This number cannot be exceeded for safety and insurance reasons. The table football, ping-pong table and deck chairs are not available in winter. Good for views of Golden Eagles, stars, thunderstorms. Not so great if you are a nervous driver on mountain roads or forget a bit of shopping. The nearest supermarket is in Thones about 20 mins each way (15 if you are French) down the mountain. Plenty of space for kids to play safely and the jacuzzi plus steam room were handy. Helpful people with easy check- in early. Some soap in the many bathrooms would have been a nice touch and perhaps more information about the local area. But overall one of the best places we have stay after the best part of 35 years in the Alps, winter and summer. Well done Peter"

The main living space is full of light and spacious, the open plan space means that the chef is able to join in with conversations and dinners are relaxed informal affairs as the table is next to the kitchen. You really do get the opportunity to stop, breathe and take in the awesome views at Grange a L'Ours. At an altitude of 1290 m the chalet is a good location for guests wanting to ski as it is less than 3km from the pistes at the Col de la Croix Fry.

The chalet has been redecorated by the new owners. The main living floor, is spacious, light and airy and like many of the OVO Network properties based in Manigod, boasts beautiful views of the stunning Aravis valley from the large picture windows. It has separate living and dining areas, a wonderful fireplace, and the separate kitchen has more seating if required.

The chalet will also work well for families in the summer because of the outdoor space; there garden is 3000m2, (some of which is flat!) sheltered terraces, balconies, and the walk through the forest up to the plateau de Beauregard is just behind the chalet.

There are two large terraces - one with a hot tub and the other with a dining table, lounge area, barbecue and breathtaking views.

Chalet Chocolat is situated just off the road between Manigod village and the pistes at La Croix Fry, so the road is always kept clear of snow. And if you'd rather not use your car, the ski bus stops just outside.

It's in a great location, with the beautiful village of Manigod 3.5km in one direction, and the Croix Fry ski station 3.5km in the other.

There's no better way to end a day in the mountains than with a soak in the hot tub - and the view of the Aravis mountains from the tub at Chalet Paralpin has to be one of the best!

The chalet has two double bedrooms, two family rooms each with a double and a single bed, and a twin room. We love the fact that all of the rooms have en suite shower rooms, and there's a WC on each floor.

The two seating areas are also a great idea - a fixed sofa and bench seating by the fire in the main living room, and another TV/games room on the top floor, where younger guests can play or watch a film. The kitchen is open to the dining area, but has everything you need if you're cooking for yourselves.

There's good storage too - the double garage has a ski store and boot rack and there's room for other outdoor gear.

Note: this chalet has the OVO Network label "Cool For Kids". However, due to the shape of its stairs, the owners could not find any safety gate fitting this feature. Thank you for your understanding. Geared for comfort and cosiness, the open plan living area on the upperfloor has a cheerful open fire and there are plush furnishings and homely touches throughout. Chalet Isatys is a three-storey chalet for 9 guests, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms, and the most incredible views over the Aravis valley!

There are plenty of sofas and chairs in front of the television, and a compact but well-equipped kitchen which has everything you need to prepare a meal for your group. Enjoy it together at the dining table, which is perfectly positioned to make the most of the views.

The first of the four bedrooms is a double room with an en suite shower room on the ground floor - it also has doors to the garden where you can enjoy the fresh morning air. There are three more bedrooms on the top floor - a double, a twin room and a room with bunk beds and a single bed - which share a spacious shower room. Two of these bedrooms have access to a shared balcony.

Chalet Isatys is a comfortable and practical option for a family group who want to enjoy the mountains without the hustle and bustle of larger resorts. Children will love the second sitting room on the top floor and the garden in front of the chalet.

The location between the traditional village of Manigod and the ski station at La Croix Fry is great for a group of family or friends who want to discover the skiing, hiking and biking opportunities in the beautiful Aravis mountains. And with the ski bus stopping outside the property, you won't even need to use your car if you prefer not to.

We love the quirky and cosy decor at Chalet Sivara - the unusual light displays, the modern artwork and the custom-built furniture, including the clever TV cabinet! The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook for your group and the chairs at the dining table are so comfortable you could be there late into the evening. But if you do decide to move into the seating area, you'll find it cosy and warm, with a woodburning stove and plenty of cushions to sink into.

The chalet also has two furnished terraces - one at the front of the dining area, and another at the side off the kitchen, making it the perfect place for barbecues and al fresco meals. There's also a pétanque piste.

This unique property is a great choice for a family or a group of friends.

Chalet Saint Joseph is a four-storey, restored farmhouse, with six en-suite bedrooms.

Just 4km from the delightful village of Manigod, and 11km from the Croix Fry ski area, it's a great base for a mountain holiday, whatever time of year you decide to visit.

This spacious chalet has a large, open-plan living area where you can get together with friends and family on the sofas and armchairs to watch TV around the fire. There's another smaller area for those who'd prefer a cosy chat, and the children get their own living room, complete with a Smart TV, toys and games.

The well-equipped kitchen area has a central island and all the appliances you need to make cooking for a crowd easier – there's also a dishwasher to make light work of the clearing up. There's room for everyone at the dining table, but if you'd prefer to eat outside, there's another table on the terrace at the rear of the property.

The six bedrooms (four on the first floor and two on the top floor) all have kingsize beds which can be arranged with twin beds if you'd prefer. Two of the rooms also have two bunk beds for older children. All of the bedrooms have en-suite bath or shower rooms.

This unique chalet is a great year-round destination, surrounded by pastures and with stunning mountain views. And with flexible sleeping arrangements, it would suit a group of several families, friends or couples.

You will have access to the entire first floor and living rooms, except for three bedrooms upstairs that remain private.
The chalet, facing south, is bathed in light and offers a magnificent view of the mountains. It is located in a very quiet hamlet, ideal for recharging your batteries.
Between lake and mountain, it is 15 minutes (9 km) from the ski slopes of La Croix-Fry/Manigod, connected to the La Clusaz area, and 25 minutes (18 km) from Lake Annecy. Equipment rental possible at the Croix-Fry pass.

Looking for a peaceful location surrounded by nature. This recently built chalet is what you need. It can host 9 people offering comfort and relaxing view on typical mountain landscape with old chalets, farms, forests and the famous Tournette. You can enjoy the surroundings with ski activities, hikes, visits or rest in front of a fire.

The space
When entering the chalet you will find the skiroom and then the main living area with the kitchen, dining room and living room. From the kitchen you can access an outdoor dining area with outdoor table, chairs and a plancha. The living room includes a fire place, a large sofa and a dining table with a banquette. A bedroom with bathroom is available on this floor.

The lower floor offers 3 bedrooms. The Tournette bedroom has direct outdoor access with a terrace, a queen size bed and a bathroom. The Sulens bedroom offers 3 single beds including a bunk bed. The Charvin bedroom has a queen size bed and a door to access the garden. An additional bathroom with a large shower is available and also a laundry room with a washing machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board.

The upper floor is the TV and playing room with bean bag chairs and a working area with a desk and chair. Large windows open on the landscape.

The Manigod region is famous for its outdoor activities, and our cottage is the perfect base for exploring the region. In the summer, you can hike on the many mountain trails or mountain bike on the slopes of the nearby La Clusaz resort. You can also go climbing, via ferrata, fishing in the mountain rivers. Lake Annecy, 30 minutes drive away, is ideal for a swim or picnic. In the winter, the region offers exceptional alpine skiing or hiking experiences with its snow-covered slopes and enchanting winter landscapes.

This authentic comfortable chalet is located at the Croix-Fry pass (Aravis Mountains) directly on the slopes of the Manigod/La Clusaz ski area. It is composed of 6 rooms for a capacity of 8/10 pers. You are also from the Plateau de Beauregard: hiking, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing. On site: restaurants, ski school, sports shops, caterer... Other Services, shops and activities 3 km from Col de Merdassier. Free shuttles to La Clusaz and Thônes.

The space
This 1792 chalet has kept all its authenticity while combining modern comforts (2 TVs, washing machine, dishwasher, underfloor heating, equipped kitchen, 2 shower rooms...).
At your disposal: 4 bedrooms of 2, 1 large kitchen/living room, 1 living room (with sofa bed for 2 people).
The cottage has a "technical room" where ski and other equipment can be stored.

The chalet is accessible by a small road 200m from the departmental.
It's a good idea to have snow tires or chains as the access is quite steep.

Other things to note
The rate does not include linens. We prefer to offer it in addition so as not to affect the budget of those who wish to bring their personal belongings.
A tourist tax is collected by the municipality: it will be charged directly by Airbnb. (€1 per day per adult).
The cleaning is the responsibility of the tenants.

The games room features table tennis, TV, X-box and comfy sofas - the kids can take over the ground floor while the adults relax around the fireplace in the first floor lounge. Perfect!

With a bathroom on each of the top two floors and wc on each floor. Younger children will enjoy the cosy triple bedroom - cable car included (see photos).
The compact kitchen and bathrooms are the most recently renovated indoor areas at the chalet.

With magnificent views over the nearby village to the splendid mountains beyond, a quick glance at the websites for each of the two apartments within, reveal Etale a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment for 11 people, with a more traditional cosy feel, lower ceilings, and smaller windows.

Together these two apartments can accommodate up to 15 people in 8 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms.

Both apartments have wood burning stoves, and indoor saunas. Out of doors both apartments have their own nordic baths. Both have independent terraces well stocked with outdoor furniture, both have gardens, and independent car parking spaces.

Etale has a fabulous indoor games area with table tennis and bar football (not heated during the winter season), plus a dormitory room with two sets of bunk beds. There is a double lounge around the wood-burning stove, a separate TV room, and a combined kitchen /dining room.

Please note: Etale is a ground floor apartment in the converted farmhouse Chalet Meridien. There is another apartment (Le Méridien Tournette) on the first floor. Chalet Etale, in keeping with the style of local properties of this age, has low ceilings and small windows. Virtually every window is like the frame of a picture postcard! With very good quality workmanship and craftsmanship throughout the build itself, natural fabrics and colours, a hammam and an outdoor jacuzzi thrown into the mix too, this property is ideal for a family a group of friends, or couples.

Le Peille has south facing balconies and a dining terrace to the west of the chalet from which to catch the sunset every night. There are only shower rooms in Le Peille. If you don't want to share a garage, or parking spaces this is not the property for you. The hammam is accessed via the garage, bath robes are provided.

Please note this chalet is a semi detached property, particular attention was paid to high quality sound proofing during construction. The first floor is a large open plan space with a more contemporary sofa area, a bunk room corner (which is not closed off completely) a library, a play area and a double ensuite bedroom, the roof of which forms the floor of a mezzanine area which is another double sleeping area, beneath the eaves of the chalet, open to and overlooking the the rest of the first floor. The photos and 360 degree virtual tour photos on the website describe the spaces perhaps more clearly than these words! 

The chalet sits above the road 1km from the slopes at Croix Fry , 6km from Manigod village, ensuring easy access to the hill for nervous drivers even in heavy snow conditions. The south facing balcony is a perfect spot from which to view the Tour de France when it passes this way.

With superb views from the terrace outside the dining area, and the sauna in the mazot, Arsene and Lea is one unique property that we know family groups and groups of friends appreciate tremendously.

Please note that Chalet Arsène & Léa is situated on the main road to the Col de la Croix Fry (where the ski fields are), which makes it very convenient in winter but does mean that in busy periods there can be a fair amount of traffic noise.

A bedroom with a double bed on the 1st, and a fourth large bedroom on the 1st with a double bed and 2 single beds that can be separated from the rest of the bedroom by a curtain. It has a bathroom on the ground floor and a shower room with 2 basins and toilets on the 1st. It is quiet and secluded from the road while being accessible by car. A toilet is available on each floor.
Games are available (tennis and foosball table...) as well as DVDs.

This warm family cottage is located near the village of Manigod village, only 1 km from the slopes in winter ( the ski bus stop is right across from the chalet) and hiking trails; and about 30 minutes from Lake Annecy in summer.
It is part of a hamlet built by parents
of the owner and their friends, with the purest Savoyard style. These chalets have also been an architectural reference for the last 40 years for the development of the valley.
