There's plenty of room for everyone, with 450m2 of space arranged over three floors. The chalet is a 3km drive from the busy village of La Giettaz, but there are some shops, bars and restaurants around the lift area, which is just a 450m walk away.

Whether you are visiting with friends or family, there is plenty of room for everyone and with seven bathrooms, your privacy is guaranteed. But when you want to get together, there's plenty of choice - watch a film in the cosy living room, cook together in the spacious kitchen, enjoy the views from the terrace or relax in the spa area - there's a sauna and stunning sunken hot tub with wonderful views over the mountains.

If you'd rather enjoy your own company, most of the bedrooms have their own balcony where you can soak up the sun or the crisp mountain air.

We think Chalet Goville is the perfect solution for a large family group, or a group of friends looking for a unique experience in the French Alps - there's plenty going on, whenever you visit.

It's in a great location for those who like to explore - it's just five minutes from the village of La Giettaz and just 10 minutes from the slopes.

The chalet enjoys a great location at the foot of the Aravis mountains - it's south facing so the lovely big garden and terrace is a real sun trap.

Inside, the spacious living room with separate seating areas makes it a great place for a group - you'll never be falling over each other! The large windows open on to the furnished terrace, where you can sunbathe, eat al fresco or simply enjoy the sublime view.

Chalet Sabaroc is a great choice for a group - it's a very sociable house, with plenty of room to get together, including the bar area. We think it would be great choice for an extended family reunion - even if that's just a fantastic mountain holiday together!

Pets are welcome at the property, and an additional charge will be applied.The chalet has 2 coffee machines (one Nespresso and one classic), 2 raclette machines and 2 fondue machines. The chalet is not equipped for people with reduced mobility. Please note that parties are strictly forbidden. - You will be directly on the ski slopes!
- The 150 km ski area extends to Combloux and Megève. In Megève, a shuttle bus in season allows access to the Contamines-Montjoie area.

It's a 5km drive to La Giettaz, but just 1.5km to the lifts at Le Plan, where you'll find the closest restaurant.

The interior of this home will take your breath away - recently renovated, the sleek design is straight from the pages of a design magazine. But there's everything you need to ensure you have a great holiday - a fully-equipped kitchen, cosy seating area, stylish bedrooms and bathrooms, a TV and games corner and a useful ski room.

If you're looking for a stylish retreat where you can enjoy and active mountain holiday with friends and family, but without the noise and tumult of modern resorts, we think Chalet Victorina will be hard to beat.

IMPORTANT:
The property is in a protected environment and the running water is from a cistern with a filtering system. However, it is recommended that guests bring their own bottled water for personal consumption (no problem for showering/brushing teeth, or cooking).

PLEASE NOTE: In winter a 4x4 vehicle with snow tyres and sometimes snow chains are essential to get to the chalet.

In addition to the necessity of having a 4x4, it is advisable to have snow chains in winter to navigate the rural road uphill. There is a parking 300m away from the chalet accessible with a 4x4. The road to the parking and the parking itself are cleared by the commune. Please be aware that in periods of heavy snow you may have to access the remaining gravelled 300m path between the parking and the chalet on foot. In summer the chalet is situated off a public footpath, and only accessible via a gravel track - vehicles with low axel clearance will not be able to use the track. The property is in a protected environment and the running water is from a cistern with a filtering system. However, it is recommended that guests bring their own bottled water for personal consumption (no problem for showering/brushing teeth, or cooking). Running water and sanitation It should be noted that, as Chalet Victorina is an isolated mountain chalet, it is not connected to the municipal water supply and sewage system of the commune of La Giettaz. An autonomous system of surface and underground water collection supplies the chalet with water, which can be very hard and is not recommended for drinking. It is advisable to bring bottles of mineral water for the stay. The chalet has its own sewage system.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We require a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

If you cancel your booking and are due a refund, we will deduct any third party payment processing or foreign exchange fees related to the booking that we have been charged from the amount refunded.

The quirky little Mazot de la Caillère just a short walk from the centre of La Giettaz is a wonderful find for a family of four, or perhaps two couples, who want all the facilities of an Alpine village as well as a stylish retreat to return to at the end of the day.

Built over three floors, this former farm building has been extended and beautifully renovated to combine contemporary comfort with original features reflecting its rural past. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to prepare a delicious dinner, and there's even a dishwasher to make light work of the clearing up. There's a separate utility and laundry room on the lower ground floor, along with the sauna, where you can relax at the end of a wonderful day in the mountains.

The cosy living area has a sofa and stools where you can get together in front of the TV as well as a folding dining table where you can enjoy dinner. There are also doors to the spacious terrace, where you can relax with a drink and admire the breathtaking view of the valley.

The stylish shower room with WC is on the ground floor, while the two bedrooms are on the first floor, There's a double room with a TV and a door to a furnished balcony, and a second room with twin beds under the eaves and space for children to play.

We think this charming and quirky property is a wonderful place for a family holiday, what ever time of the year you visit.

Individual contemporary wooden chalet, located 5 km from the slopes and on the road to the Col des Aravis.
It consists of 3 levels with:
- a ground floor opening onto the living space, WiFi connection, TV TNT SAT Canal, separate toilet, ski room;
- a mezzanine with 2 beds for 2 people and 2 beds for 1 person, a shower room (with toilet) and a balcony.
- a garden floor: 2 bedrooms, each with a bed for 2 people and an ensuite shower room and toilet.
Very comfortable with a refined decoration, nice materials fitting for a warm and cosy ambiance.
Large and harmonious living space opening onto a balcony and a large covered terrace offering an astonishing panorama of the village, the valley and the Aravis mountain range.
Deposit in cash at the time of arrival.

- "The manager of the property Pascale is a fantastic manager, the owners of the property that are several by the way...and they are not friendly at all or to be recommended" - "We enjoyed our stay in this spacious chalet and found it a good location from which to explore Annecy and Geneve. AFTER we had paid the deposit and the final payment, we were annoyed that we were asked to pay a EUR1,000 cash security deposit. This is a rather excessive amount, and is many multiples of what we have encountered anywhere else (we travel extensively). It was explained to us that the owner had recenty had a bad experience, and that they found it necessary to introduce the security deposit. The deposit was returned to us fully, on our departure. Our home currency is not EUR, hence the inconvenience with exchange losses and bank fees. Apart from this problem, we had a good stay:)"
