On hiking route to Testa Grigia, Col Pinter in Monterosa area with views of the Italian side of the Matterhorn large old lodge for 8 to 16 people This authentically renovated old stone and wood house is luxuriously equipped with 6 bedrooms, 5 with en-suite bathrooms and one with a separate bathroom. There is a large living space with 360 "open fire place, well equipped kitchen with bread baking machines, dishwasher, laundry machine and dryer, sauna, garden with a beautiful view all around, The house is one of the 20 houses in the highest" alpage "village of the italian alps" meaning that summer cheese is made on location. The village is picture perfect antique with a former school house, a communal house, a bread baking house, a chapel and three fresh water sources and its basins all connected with winding small paths and no dissonant modernities. One of the old houses has turned into a three room hotel and small restaurant. It's the best starting point for hiking to several mountain tops in summer and for skiing ski-in / ski-out in winter. Its the real mountain experience!

Elegant 6-storey apartment in perfect alpine style, surrounded by woods and with direct access to the ski slopes. Immersed in nature but a short walk from the town center. It has a garage and an incredible view of the surrounding mountains.
On the ground floor it has an entrance and ski storage. On the first floor there is the first double bedroom with private bathroom. On the second floor there is a kitchen and a large dining table. On the third floor there is a large living room with a view of the mountains. On the fourth floor there are two bedrooms, both with bunk beds, and a bathroom. On the fifth and top floor, in the attic with exposed beams, is the master bedroom, with a double bed and an additional single bed, also with private bathroom.

But absolutely lovely location and a nice spacious chalet that was well priced. Welcome to our cozy apartment in Champoluc!
The house is in Magneaz, a nice small village 1700masl near Monte Rosa.
Perfect for families, it accommodates up to 8 people.
During winter, it's perfect for skiing with plenty of ski areas all around (or snowshoeing if you prefer!).
In summer, it's great for hiking, there are awesome trails for pros or just for a walk.
You'll find a nice apartment on two levels with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious living room and big kitchen.
The space
Our house (“Casa Petronilla”) is a traditional 2 stories building built in stone/concrete/wood. The apartment is on two levels. It is easily accessible from the street. Very quiet. All rooms have windows. Entrance level: 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Garden level: big living room and spacious kitchen. Washing machine and dishwasher available.
We own the house since several years and are used to host it often, but we are new on Airbnb.
We hope you will spend a wonderful vacation at Casa Petronilla!

Large open spaces provide good opportunities for socializing after a long day on the mountain. The Chalet offers wonderful mountain views and is only a stone´s throw away from the popular ski and hiking resort, Champoluc. If you love mountains and charm, you have come to the right place.

The space
Set over three levels, the chalet is a fine example of modern function whilst remaining true to its Alpine roots with plenty of rustic feeling with wood and stone throughout. On the ground floor you will find Club MagZ, our après-ski. It's a perfect place to chill out in front of the fireplace with a beer and some dart or other board games, after a day on the mountain. Next to the ap après-ski you will find our ancient wine celler where you can store your wine, cheeses and prosciutto and organize a wine tasting. On the ground floor you also find a bathroom with laundry facilities.
The stone staircase leads up to the second floor of the house. Here you will find an open plan with a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and living room. The kitchen is designed to inspire teamwork and interaction around cooking. Everyone can join in when you swing together a good Carabonara. The large table in the dining area, which was found in an old mountain hut, can accommodate 12 persons so there are plenty of room for some extra dinner guests.
The living room is a perfect retreat place after a lovely dinner. Here you can enjoy a movie on the big flatscreen TV or just relax in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine or two.
The day ends and begins on the third floor. There are 4 bedrooms with 8 beds. Two of the bedrooms have a double bed, one bedroom with two single beds and a bedroom with a wall-hung bunk bed that folds out from the wall. From all the bedrooms you can see the snow-capped peaks of the Monte Rosa massif. On the third floor there is also a large bathroom with toilet, shower and bathtub.
From the living room on the second floor, you reach the garden where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner with mountain views. The location of the village means that we have sun almost all day.
The house also has a large ski room where we can store and dry all ski equipment after a long day on the mountain.
