Not a spec of dust in the vast place and the grounds were absolutely lovely. We came from North Carolina, Virginia, and New York USA, and had a fantastic family reunion--our first since COVID. The space boasts a semi-vaulted ceiling reaching full roof height, adorned with exposed beams and two expansive VELUX windows, ensuring ample natural light even on overcast days.

Welcome to my lovely holiday home in Arbroath, the perfect spot to explore the beauty of Scotland's east coast.

Spacious, comfortable and fully equipped with everything you need, this Victorian apartment has been lovingly restored in mid-century modern style. Situated on the first floor in a quiet street within what is described as the nicest part of town, it is ideally located to walk to all of Arbroath's main attractions including the mainline railway station.

The apartment is calming, light and comfortable, ideally suited to couples and solo explorers. There is free parking on the street outside.

The kitchen is modern and fully equipped to a high standard with everything you might need for a home away from home. The shower room is contemporary with designer fittings. On the farm itself, the owner has the Redcastle Clydesdale Stud, which some horses have been imported as far as the USA for the Budweiser Clydesdales. Located just a short drive from beautiful sandy beaches, this property is a great choice at any time of the year. Within 6 miles lies the harbour town of Arbroath, famous for its Smokies and historic Arbroath Abbey, with the world famous Lunan Bay just a few miles further along the coast. For culture seekers and shopping the city of Dundee is only 15 miles away, whilst Aberdeen and Edinburgh are within an hour and a half drive. For golfers, the Carnoustie Championship course is only a 15 minute drive and the St. Andrews Championship courses can be reached in 50 minutes.
Close by, Glamis Castle is only 12 ½ miles always and is a popular tourist choice whatever the weather. The Angus glens are popular with hill walkers, as is fishing on the river Tay and Esk along with sea angling trips from Arbroath. Unfortunately, we caught the tail end of a raging storm so weather didn’t allow us to use the patio and massive grassed garden as much as we would have liked but family still enjoyed break here very much. The house and grounds are a perfect place to relax with swimming pool, hot tub, games garage, cosy TV room, 3 acres of beautiful grounds full of wildlife as well as internet access.

This house has 6 bedrooms and can sleep up to 17 guests.
In the first bedroom on the ground floor, you will find a king-size bed plus a single sofa bed.
Upstairs the family suite has a king-size bed and double sofa and is ensuite.
In the next bedroom, there is a double bed.
The fourth bedroom contains bunk beds.
The fifth bedroom contains a king-size bed and single sofa bed.
The sixth bedroom is ensuite with a four poster bed and single sofa bed.

There are 4 bathrooms.
The ground floor bathroom has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower.
