This cozy house is clean, rustic, and has everything you need in a home away from home. It’s located on our ranch, Big Run Ranches. It has beautiful views of the Uintah Mountains, only 14 miles to the mouth of the canyon, 30 minutes to Vernal, 20 minutes to Roosevelt or 40 minutes to Dinosaur National Monument. Love fishing? Starvation Reservoir is 50 min away, Flaming Gorge is about 77 miles away, the Uintah River is 20 min away, and Strawberry Reservoir is 1 hour and 20 min.
This is a wonderful getaway to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet near the mountains. The mouth of Uintah Canyon is 20 min away. There are many trails to hike (sheep bridge is a 8 mile round trip hike) and go picnic.
There many be cows calving, water turns, goats, haying, and many other farm animals (depending on the time of year). There is also a lot of wildlife around including deer and elk. The property also has a grill/smoker for you to enjoy. (Bring your own briquettes) The property is on a quiet road with very few neighbors. Enjoy a walk down the road or sit on the back porch and enjoy the fresh air.

Sleeping arrangements are 3 bedrooms: #1 - 1 king bed #2 1queen size bed #3- 1 bunk bed, a twin bed and queen bed. There is two large living rooms, 2 bath (one with a bathtub and one with a shower), and a small kitchen with dining room table. There is WIFI on the property with a smart TV with Netflix and Disney + Subscriptions.

This is the perfect property to stay in when you are coming to the Uintah Basin to hunt or fish. If you bring a horse there is panels set up to keep them in. Enjoy the great outdoor but come back to this cozy home.

Our guest love the location. It is in a remote location down a country road. The house doesn’t have air conditioning but if you open windows at night in the summer you’ll feel the cool north wind then close everything in the morning and the house stays nice. There are fans in the house. In the fall you will hear elk bugling and the river flowing. Depending on the time of year there can be a lot of wildlife around. We’ve seen moose, elk, deer, bear, and lots of small animals.

Cliff Lake Lodge is our newest lodge opening in April of 2024. This new lodge has 6 bedrooms and can sleep 25 comfortably. This lodge has a beautiful 1500 square foot covered deck with gas fire pit. Loon Lodge at Six Lakes Fishing Preserve and Resort has 5 bedrooms, 5 1/2 baths; sleeps up to 20; spacious living room, game room, rock fireplace, large wrap around deck, large kitchen. The in ground spa and gas fireplace are absolutely breath taking. Your family will never want to leave this place. You have private access to the beautiful loon lake and because it is private you don't need a fishing license. It is catch and release however. There are 6 additional lakes and the property boarders the Sand Wash Reservoir for waterskiing, waverunning or additional fishing. Licenses are required on the reservoir. For large groups up too 125 people reserve the entire Six Lakes property including the Loon Cabin, Eagle Cabin, and group use area that has 5 camper cabins and tent and RV sites.

We had the SPA heater break and the next day he came out on Memorial Day and installed a new one and made sure all was good before he left.
