This is a quaint and beautiful ground level apartment in a remodeled 1950's era home. Located on a hill next to the mountain. Close enough to all the amenities of a big city but still offers a quiet place to stay away from the hustle and bustle.

Other things to note
We take the COVID-19 outbreak very seriously - as such we are taking extreme measures to sanitize the apartment top to bottom after every stay. This means you are the first to touch all door knobs, switches, pulls/handles, cups, dishes lids ECT... All linens are washed on a sanitary setting after EVERY stay. All surfaces and furniture wiped and disinfected. We take priority in both our safety and our guests safety.

The space
Parkside Haven is a newly renovated and fully private living space on the walkout basement level of a quiet residence. With a separate entrance and two bedrooms, a living/dining area, a fully-stocked kitchenette with dishwasher, and washer/dryer access, you’ll have all the amenities to make this your home away from home.

Both bedrooms are newly renovated, with windows looking out onto the yard, which is fully fenced for privacy. The primary bedroom features a queen-sized bed, while the second bedroom includes a twin day bed with a twin trundle, and a desk that allows guests to use the room as a dedicated workspace as needed. Additional sleeping space is available in the living room, where the sofa doubles as a full pull-out bed. The living room also includes an extendable dining table, smart TV, and faux fireplace for maximum comfort and coziness in Utah winters.

Step outside and you’ll find an outdoor space that’s perfect for both family fun and quiet relaxation. Parkside Haven’s recently re-landscaped yard features a waterfall, fire pit, barbecue grill, and patio complete with a bistro table and chairs. The yard is fully fenced and includes a private gated entrance to the beautiful 8-acre Spring Creek Park, where you’ll find a walking trail, basketball court, soccer fields, playgrounds, and a pavilion that can be reserved for gatherings.

Two driveway parking spaces are available, as well as street parking. Parking on site for recreational vehicles is available upon request.

Guests have full access to daylight/ walkout basement apartment as well as the back patio and backyard.
Guests enjoy self check-in and are able to access the apartment by going through the driveway vinyl gates, walking down a set of stairs, and opening the door with a smart lock code.

I have an outdoor cat named Teddy. You may see him from time to time. He is very sweet, but reserved.

Darling Suite 8 has green and gold accents, 10-foot ceilings, and gorgeous light. Suite 8 is the only suite that allows pets (with an additional cleaning fee).

Suite 8 sleeps up to 2 (1 queen bed) and includes the kitchen essentials (fridge/freezer, microwave, and coffee maker). It is located on the west side of the property. Most of the time, you can park right outside your suite door on 100 W (park in the back if there are snowplow operations that day).

- "This property had exactly what I needed for my overnight stay in the area. There was a bed, bathroom, desk, refrigerator, microwave, and cute coffee bar. I did not intend to spend a lot of time at the property, so this was a great place to lay my head and get ready for the next day. The building is a beautiful old building in a quaint part of town. I did have to contact the property owner, and he was very responsive and fixed what I needed immediately."

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This is a basement apartment with 2 bedrooms. The house is on a quiet street situated at the base of a mountain filled with ATV and hiking trails close to I-15. The apartment is very bright with a lot of natural light. There is a fully functioning kitchen. In addition to the 2 bedrooms there is also a sleeper sofa with a queen bed. There is also a baby crib available. 12 minutes to BYU and frontrunner. 45 minutes to SLC.

The only thing that was a problem is that half of our group complained of hard beds, the other half had no problem with them (a mix of queens and twins in both groups). Originally the space was split into multiple rooms—in the hallway outside the suite you will notice a pair of historic doorframes. Now it is beautifully fresh and open, the perfect haven for a romantic getaway or a family retreat.

Cheerful Suite 10 has amazing natural light and darling details—we love the gold accents throughout and the views right from your bed! Inexplicably, this room always smells especially nice. Is it in my head or is there a special magic in this room? You’ll have to come see (smell) for yourself!

- "We had a comfortable stay in our suite. The area is very quiet and peaceful and walking distance to Maglebys and Ginger's Garden Cafe. Grace Church is a short walk as well. The breakfast were a wonderful way to start the day and a relaxing jacuzzi in the evening. A couple minor repairs were taken care of immediately. As an update from our photos, the suite now includes a beautiful solid-wood canopy bed and a larger West Elm sleeper sofa. The room includes double vanities in the bathroom, a dining table and chairs, and 10-foot ceilings.

Suite 7 sleeps up to 4 (1 king bed and 1 queen sofa bed) and includes a kitchenette. It is located on the west side of the property. Most of the time, you can park right outside your suite door on 100 W (park in the back if there are snowplow operations that day).

Cozy yet elegant, Suite 4 has stunning vintage wallpaper with furniture to match. Because the bathroom was part of the 1892 brick block and the bedroom was part of the 1910 addition, the ceilings are different heights: the bedroom has a cozier 8-foot ceiling and the bathroom has airy 10-ft ceilings.
