This is a one level 3 bedroom home. It has two baths - one is a private bath in the master bedroom. There is a full kitchen with a small dining area. Living room and a wash room comprise the remainder of the home. There is a one car space in an enclosed garage for indoor parking. Plenty of off road parking on a large driveway. Large back yard play area is available also. We are 15 minutes from Park City and all of the adjacent ski areas. We are 3 minutes from the DeJoria Center at the High Star Ranch and 2 blocks away from the Mirror Lake Highway which accesses the Uinta Mountains and the High Uinta Primitive Area.

Ski Cabin Near Park City, Mirror Lake, Snowmobiling Trails/ATV trails with Hot Tub and Arcade!

Get away with the family to this gorgeous private family cabin with a cozy yet spacious ski lodge feel. This listing is tucked away off the main road (Mirror Lake Highway) and the location is beautiful at any time of year.
The space
Among its many virtues, the location is what makes this place a must; Just a short 20 mile drive will take you into Park City to enjoy shopping, skiing and great restaurant options. Mirror Lake is 28 miles away, passing beautiful Provo River Falls just 8 miles beforehand. There are countless ATV trails along with world famous snowmobiling opportunities at Soapstone basin nearby. If you are looking for a quick meal or grocery run, Kamas is just a quick 5 minute drive.

Tucked away against the mountains and trees you’ll have everything to keep you and every member of the family entertained for hours. Chip some golf balls off the elevated tee box onto our private putting green while the little ones play on the swing set. Host a game tournament with pool, (including racks for 8-ball and 9-ball), ping pong, adult size ring toss and connect four on the wall in the game room. There’s also a closet packed with games and puzzles for concentrated family time.

Let the kids get lost in time with our arcade center featuring hundreds of games from many different gaming consoles; including Atari, Sega, Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64 and more. Make bedtime fun and appealing for the littles with cabin forts over the kids’ pull out twin beds, complete with a big screen TV. Take a soak in the hot tub with stunning mountain views.

There are two amazing covered decks on each side of the cabin with an eating area on the deck adjacent to the kitchen featuring a grill and dining table with chairs. There is plenty of seating available to enjoy the view from the deck on the opposite side of the house as well. Both decks are covered and you’re guaranteed to have good shade at practically any point of the day on at least one of the two decks.

The top floor features a large loft with 3 bedrooms (1: twin bunks, 2: twin/full bunk, 3: double queens) a large full bath, a large TV area with comfortable sectional seating. In addition to the great room on the main floor, there is also a beautiful master bed/bath, a half bath and a laundry room. The master bedroom has its own TV and exit to the deck. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, a crock pot, a Keurig coffee maker, waffle iron, griddle, and plenty of dinner ware.

The basement is where you’ll find the game room with a bar and mini-fridge. The kids room (4 twins) and a 3/4 bath. No kids in your party? No problem. The beds are large enough for adults and the room also has a large flat screen smart TV for easy viewing.

A Few Items to Note:

The cabin features solid WiFi, but cell coverage is weak. Using WiFi calling on your cell should be adequate, though. Some cell phone carriers will work close to the house (within a short walk, usually) but you can always turn on WiFi calling on your cell phone to make and receive calls if you need access while you stay. It sure is nice to disconnect sometimes, though, right!?

We run on septic, which means our plumbing system is delicate, and we ask that you please take special care to not dump flushable wipes, grease, large debris, or feminine hygiene products down the toilets or drains.

There is no central AC at the cabin. The area of the canyon that we are in rarely becomes warm enough to necessitate air conditioning. On hotter days, we recommend opening the windows in the evening and closing them in the morning while utilizing our ceiling fans for your ultimate comfort. In the summer months, we provide a portable AC unit for the bonus room above the garage because it gets the warmest.

The bonus room above the garage with two queen beds does not have central heating. We provide bed warmers and portable heaters to keep that room comfortable.

This is a cabin in the mountains so mice are possible. We do everything in our power to keep them out. We suggest not leaving food out on the counters to help prevent mice.

We ask that you please be respectful to our neighbors by keeping the noise down after 10pm, particularly in the hot tub.

The Space:
This three-story townhome features a second floor entry with three bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom downstairs. Dens on the first and second floor allow plenty of room for all to spread out! There are also two separate designated workspaces and high-speed mesh wi-fi for anyone looking to work remotely (we’ve had four people on Zoom calls at the same time with no issues)! This home is a perfect choice for weekend getaways or long-term stays and no detail was spared to make sure you never want to go home!

Entry Way
Guests enter into the townhome with a code via the front door or the two-car garage, both of which are private. The entry way greets you with a coat closet, shoe rack, a place to set key or passes, and stairs leading up to the other floors. Just off to the right is the kitchen, living room, and deck! You will be surrounded by stunning mountain and lake views from every window!

Living Room
The open concept of the living room and kitchen allow the whole family plenty of space to sit at a tabletop or lounge around on the couch while keeping the conversation going. The gas fireplace warms the area while providing the ultimate pairing to the view out the many windows in the room. Hard to miss is the HD SmartTV, perfect for those afternoon movies or sporting events!

Kitchen
This home features a second-floor kitchen that is ready for any holiday meal a vacationing family can throw at it. With everything you need to cook most any dinner, gas appliances, and a full-sized refrigerator - you can rest easy knowing the grocery store supply runs can be kept to a minimum here. The kitchen is right next to the living room and dining room and features a countertop bar with additional seating areas. There’s plenty of space for a few cooks in the kitchen while friends and family socialize with a glass of wine at the countertop bar and adjacent space with speakers available to enhance the ambiance. There is a powder bath off the kitchen towards the garage as well.

Dining
The large classic wooden dining table features seating for 8. Larger groups shouldn't worry though as there is ample seating for more at the countertop bar and additional chairs throughout the house. The large windows surrounding the dining room create the perfect space to have a meal at sunset!

First Floor Den
In addition to the living area upstairs, there is a den located on the first floor of the home with a couch, pull-out bed, and large wall-mounted SmartTV. There are board games for guests to use and a small desk as well! Off of this room is where the hot tub is located.
Upstairs Loft
Just off the staircase is a dedicated workspace with a large desk and seating area. If you can’t fully unplug while you are visiting, you’ll find that this workspace has great views making you itch to go outside once the workday finishes!

Beds & Baths
- The primary bedroom is located on the third floor of the townhome and features a luxurious king-sized bed, wall-mounted SmartTV, and a great seating area. There is a walk-in closet and an ensuite bathroom for this bedroom that features double vanities, a standup shower and a soaking tub. Windows on all sides light up the room until the shades are drawn for rest!

- The first third floor bedroom features a queen over queen bunk with a wall-mounted SmartTV. This room has an old-school Nintendo64 and plenty of space for the kids to have their own space! There is a closet in this room as well as windows with shades. This bedroom shares a full bathroom with the other upstairs guest room.

The newly opened Black Rock Ridge Resort and Hotel is right down the street and offers restaurants, a spa and fantastic places to spend an evening close to the rental. There is a restaurant and a bar located inside of the building that are highly recommended.

3. Unauthorized late check outs or extension

- Guests are not allowed to stay beyond their check out time unless authorized in advance.

- Any unauthorized late check out, we will charge a late check out fee of $200.

4. Refundable Security Deposit

-We will pre-authorize a $500 security deposit on your card one day prior to your check-in. Please note, this is not a charge but a temporary hold. The deposit will be refunded within 7 days after check-out, provided there are no damages, missing items, or violations of our house rules.
