Tathra Beach Shack is one of Tathra's original cottages and is located on the southern headland overlooking Tathra beach. The cottage oozes character with original timber floorboards throughout the living area and original fireplace to keep you snug at night.

Two of the three bedrooms have queen beds and have views directly over the beach. The third bedroom has two single beds. The main bedroom is a large expansive room with ensuit and TV.

The cottage has a wonderful sundeck connecting to the living room that oozes sunshine and looks directly over the beach with a BBQ.

Surrounded by bush it offers plenty of privacy and boasts uninterrupted views over the beach making it the ideal location for a holiday by the sea.

Tathra is spoiled with National Parks and reserves, beautiful beaches, pristine estuaries and rivers. Pick your water sport - river and deep sea fishing, kayaking, surfing or simply chill out on the beautiful Tathra beach which is a short stroll down the steps from the house.

The National parks offer safe swimming lagoons, picnic areas and bushwalking tracks to cater for all levels of fitness. Relax and enjoy a coffee at the Tathra Wharf cafe - the wharf is one of the only heritage listed shipping wharves on the Eastern Coast of Australia. For your evenings entertainment there are a number of good restaurants in the area and why not finish the evening off with some live music and drinks in the local Tathra Hotel. If you are there on a Friday you might even win the crab races !!!!

The stone cottage is the original cottage at Bemboka River Cottages and was built out of timber from the property and large stones from the river. The cottage stays pleasantly cool in summer and the log fire keeps it cosy in winter.

The cottage sits high on the hill overlooking farming paddocks.

Bemboka River Cottages is a mixture of cleared paddocks and natural bushland to be explored. There are fire trails and bush walks that continue along the mountain ridge to Bemboka Ridge one way and to the Walls in the other direction. Native flora and fauna are in abundance. The elusive lyrebird, lace monitors, wombats, bower birds building nests, echidnas and of course a variety of parrots and other birds.

At the front of the property is the Bemboka River with a large swimming hole and waterfall to explore. Take a walk along the road to Happy Valley and enjoy the beauty and peace of the local countryside with many opportunities for photographs. At night you can go spotlighting and see owls, wombats and possums or just soak up the beauty of the night sky.

A nature and bird-lovers paradise with bush trails for nature walks and a natural swimming hole in the river to explore. Enjoy spectacular views, a variety of birdlife, echidnas, wombats, farm animals and large shady fenced gardens for the discerning pet. Cycling, walking, relaxing.

There are local fruit and grape wineries to visit, plus local markets each weekend, the most popular of all being the Candelo Markets, which are on the first Sunday of the month.

Three quarters of the Sapphire Coast is either pristine Wilderness, National Park or State Forests. You can visit magnificent deserted beaches, sample freshly caught fish at Bermagui and Eden, visit the historical villages of Pambula and Cobargo and their numerous art and craft galleries, take a whale watching cruise (Sept to Nov), go big game fishing, take in a round of golf at one of the many local golf courses or take a joy flight and see how beautiful it all is from the air.

The house is perched right on top of the Cliff in Tathra . A large timber deck at the rear of the house overlooks a hidden semi Rainforest Gully, a haven for local wallabies, lyrebirds, honeyeaters and skinks. A wonderland for kids!

Situated in a quiet lane with no through traffic makes it only a 2 minute walk to the beach, Tathra Wharf and Tathra Hotel. It is just a hop skip and jump to the Hotel to charge your electric vehicle and enjoy a lunch or dinner with complimentary music on weekends

The view from the house is stunning, overlooking the beautiful, safe Tathra Beach and yet is very protected from coastal winds.

Clifftop is single story at the front and double at the rear. Under the deck at the rear is a private space with laundry room and a second retro bathroom with toilet and shower. The stunning garden with tree ferns, orchids, cliveas and a huge monstera thicket are features of this space as well as a green maintained lawn both at the rear and front of the house.

The Guest House is located between Tathra and Merimbula. It borders Bournda National Park which offers beaches, a lagoon, and 2 lakes only minutes away. There are plenty of hiking and mountain bike trails nearby including the amazing Kangarutha Track.
You have your own driveway access and parking at the Guest house. The outdoor area is private, and has an undercover BBQ, picnic table as well as a fire pit with seating in a forest setting.
Plenty of bird life throughout the day.

The space
The Guest House is a self contained cottage with 2 Queen beds. It is separate from the main residence and offers it's own private rear outdoor area.
The Guest House is listed for up to 4 adults.
There is one Queen Bed in a Studio type setting, and another Queen Bed in a private Bedroom.
The kitchen is basic, but provides a full sized fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and a double hot plate for cooking. There is no oven or stove top.
There is also a BBQ on the deck. The fire pit and Indoor fire place can also be used for cooking.

A fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, reverse cycle air conditioning, laundry downstairs with clothes dryer, freezer and bar fridge, and a 2nd tub and washing machine in a upstairs bathroom. Enjoy the stunning beach and coastal views from the living areas or decks, or from the front ground level grassed and paved courtyard. Nelba Cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Set on a hobby farm in Buckajo near Bega, 120 acres of rolling hills are yours to enjoy. Nelba Cottage is surrounded by breathtaking rural views to Mumbulla Mountain and Bega township. The cottage is separate to the main residence with private access and has been built in keeping with the main weatherboard farm house which dates back to the late 1800's.

The cottage comfortably sleeps 2 with an ensuite almost as big as the bedroom. All linen, towels & luxury toiletries are supplied, there's nothing to do but make yourself at home and unwind! The country kitchen is fully equipped with cooktop, oven, dishwasher, bar fridge with tea and coffee provisions & some essential condiments supplied. Lounge and dining seats 2 with reverse cycle air-conditioning to keep the temperature just right. A small selection of board games are also supplied. In the large carport, a washing machine, full size fridge & freezer and foldable clothes line are provided for guest use. A firepit is available April to August, out of fire permit season. 'Kangarutha Cottage' is a well-loved destination on a unique rural property of 100 Ha.
The character retro cottage is nestled on the fringe of tall coastal forest and has been in the Hamilton family for 50 years. It has evolved over time which gives it a cosy but unconventional feel. The Cottage is situated only 150m from the main road but is hidden, with easy access and a wonderful rural view of paddocks, dams and forest.

The property comprises 2 buildings. The main cottage and an adjacent 'Lodge' which are surrounded with a fully fenced private yard and tennis court. The gardens are tranquil, a beautiful place to relax in nature whilst being close to the beach and other attractions around Tathra and the region.

The Cottage with Lodge sleeps a total of 8 people with 6 beds

The main cottage is cosy with 2 bedrooms - a queen bed in the large bedroom and two single beds (or combined to a King bed). The kitchen, lounge room and dining area are the open plan hub of the house with a cosy wood fire for cooler months and an optional reverse cycle air conditioner. The bathroom has a bath/ shower, with a separate toilet.
The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, cutlery and crockery, Stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, jug, toaster. The cottage has full laundry faciities.
