We feel it is important to let you know what we are doing to provide a safe place for you to stay in these most unusual times.
The accommodation is a stand alone cabin set on 5acres in the rural countryside near the small town of Moruya. We believe this is a safe area to explore in peace and quiet.
In many ways the location is quite isolated, being on a dead end road there is little traffic.
The cabin only accommodates couples. We also cater for dogs and horses.
Denise and I spend a minimum of 2 hours to clean between clients and we pride ourselves on being very thorough.
This includes a full linen replacement. Check and rewash dishes and kitchen , all towels and dishcloths replaced with fresh ones. All door handles and surfaces disinfected.
We have confidence in what we offer and encourage you to come and enjoy and relax in these surroundings.
Naturally we understand there are many factors that will influence your decision to come and stay however we also ask that if you feel you cannot make it for any reason your earliest advice would be appreciated.

Nestled amongst tall spotted gumtrees in a quiet residential area, Lazy Days B & B is a quiet getaway where our guests find it hard NOT to relax! Owners, Geoff and Ingrid Turner, pride themselves on providing you with a place to relax and unwind. We are a quiet, mature couple with no kids at home and our aim is to make your stay as tranquil as our surroundings. The Bed and breakfast is part of our home, but is very private with a separate entry and your own private bathroom facilities - an entire guest suite which is spacious and comfortable.(NB. it is not the whole house) The guest area consists of a QS bedroom (black out curtains), a separate bathroom with deep bath, luxurious Sheridan towels a lovely rainfall shower, separate vanity and toilet, a sitting area which has a sofa, a small table and chairs for dining, large TV and lots of dvds, a breakfast bar with all the provisions you need to make breakfast when you wake up. Allow yourself to soak in the deep bath, with candles burning, and listen to your favourite relaxation music. We provide several bath salts to choose from.
Situated half an hour from Batemans Bay on the NSW south coast, 2 hours east of Canberra and 4.5 hours south of Sydney, it is the perfect place to get away and enjoy some country hospitality. Lazy Days is a modern home, backing onto bushland - home to native wildlife, often seen around the yard.(hence our no pets policy, plus we have no fences and a pet cat). A large variety of birds visit daily - lorikeets, king parrots, pigeons, kookaburras and rosellas. Its quite entertaining to watch their antics.
Lazy Days is located 5 minutes from Moruya township where there are 2 supermarkets and lots of coffee shops, boutique shops and eateries to choose from. If its the ocean you love, a 5 minute drive in the opposite direction to town, will take you to the Moruya Surf Beach. The sand is pristine and the ocean water is so clear - a walk along the beach is a must. The Moruya River is nearby, and if you want to launch your boat you can drive a few minutes to Preddy's Wharf. The river is great for fishing, so bring your fishing rods! We have enough room for your boat in the car park.
Lazy Days Bed and Breakfast is just as the name suggests. We encourage you to relax - you can even choose to have a reflexology treatment (extra charges apply). Ingrid is a qualified reflexologist with over 20 years experience.
The unstable phone reception in our area gives you a good excuse to "unplug" from technology for a while, walk on the beach, stroll through the shops, enjoy a chat over a cuppa - simply relax. We do have WI-FI available, but again, it is not very reliable unfortunately. Of a night time, you can gaze at the stars from the verandah or go for a short drive to the beach where you get a view of a carpet of stars. You could even be lucky enough to capture an aurora if you are a keen photographer. Sunsets and sunrises are also spectacular.
A continental breakfast is supplied each day, but there are choices available such as croissants or home made bread, so please talk to us about your needs. There are lots of activities you can enjoy, such as sky diving, swimming, visit Mogo Wildlife Park or go shopping at the quirky village of Mogo. Perhaps go kayaking on the river, enjoy some whale watching in the season, surf or boogie board (we have a couple of boards you can use) at the safe beach of Shelly Beach - the choices are endless. If you can, book in for at least 2 nights - most of our guests wished they had booked for a longer stay. There is so much to see and do and your hosts can give you numerous suggestions, according to your interests and needs.

We had all we needed and the proximity to the beach and local attractions was a bonus. I have mobility limitations so the ramps for entry and accessible bathrooms and rooms was great. Loved the wraparound porch and we spent a lot of time just unwinding and enjoying the views across to the mountains. There is a big flight of stairs up to the kids rooms but they loved being tucked away and having their own space to retreat to. The biggest pros of this property are: - the view (even better than the picture), the location (Moruya amenities steps away), - the family-friendly space, - the wonderfully responsive owner, Sam, and - the great value for money. We had a bit of bad luck that the water heater died on our first night, and needed to be replaced. Sam was an absolute ninja in solving this problem: it was investigated immediately and amazingly, a new water heater was installed by 3pm on the second day, so we all had access to hot showers that night. There were no cons for us really, but if you're after a fancy house, this isn't it. There's no dishwasher, and while it clearly had been cleaned, it's got a lived-in charm. The beds, couch and easy chairs are comfy and cozy, the kids' room is full of pillows for fort-building, the enclosed back lawn is great for little ones to run around, and the kitchen is surprisingly well equipped. Tip for vacation cooks: the two oddest looking knives in the block are actually great quality!"

We are situated on 17 rural acres, and the house you will be staying in is at the rear of the property looking out over farmland and Moruya River in the distance. There is plenty of private space for you to relax and enjoy. The acreage also has a seperate farm shed and house on other parts of the property which are seperate to your space.

Kayaks (with trolley), Fishing Gear, Waders, Boogie Boards, Table Tennis, Arcade Machine, Dart Board, Hammock, TV/Movie Channels, DVDs, Games, Telescope are all provided for guest use.

Walk down to the water at the end of the street and put one of the kayaks in (a Tandem and Single Person Fishing Kayak are provided) or stroll along the waterfront. Or take a set of waders and some fishing gear or the snorkel and handspear and chase some bream, blackfish or flathead around the oyster leases.

The sunroom is the feature of the house with amazing views. There is a hammock and other seating and you can spend hours just sitting and enjoying the birdlife and views.

The place can accommodate two families if required. Upstairs there is a queen bedroom and a single room with a single bed and trundle (that can convert into a double bed or two singles). Downstairs there is another queen room and then the rumpus has the two click clacks which can easily fold into double beds.

High-quality everything , from Sheridan linen to high end appliances and amenities. We charge a bond and only rent to like-minded-people and not big groups of singles etc. Linen is provided and beds will be made up for the number of guests you book for and the configuration you tell us about.

Less than 5 minutes into Moruya center where every type of shop and eatery you could need, however in the quiet town of Moruya Heads you are not surrounded by masses of people.

The house is over 20 years old, but well renovated and in excellent condition.

This is a high quality house in a quiet neighborhood and as such there is no parties, no large groups, no schoolies, no smoking and we only rent to people with good reviews.

Small Pets are considered on request as there the place is not fully fenced due to the neighbor currently building a house so we can't have a fence. There is an enclosed deck downstairs which opens up to the garage which is usually good for a small pet but not good enough for a large or very active pet.

Wake to the sound of the bushland whilst overlooking the beautiful Moruya River, the same river that will take you direct to the ocean, beautiful beaches, deep sea fishing and whale watching.

Only two hours from Canberra, four from Sydney and a short 10 minutes from the rural south coast town of Moruya and Sapphire Coast beaches. Historic Mogo township is a short drive, as well as Mogo zoo and if it's deep sea fishing you want get them to pick you up from the farm's river beach and head straight out to sea.

Otherwise, as they are within proximity to each other, this is perfect for family groups or larger groups of friends to get together whilst also providing private accommodation. For additional ambiance each cottage has a slow combustion fire for those chilly winter evenings.

A bit further under 20 minutes drive, you will have access to other well protected swimming and snorkelling beaches (Shark Bay, Malua Bay), and other excellent surf spots (Broulee and the Congo).

The beautiful Moruya River is just a short walk 300m away — perfect for kayaking, paddleboarding, or fishing.

You’re 8 minutes drive from the town for great coffee and supplies, but far enough to hear the birds in the morning and see the stars at night.

Moruya fresh food markets (Tuesdays from 3pm) are award winning with fresh local produce and seafood, bakery goods, cheeses are available.

If you’re looking for a full-service, luxury experience, our place may not be the best match. Our hut is all about a down-to-earth, self-sufficient getaway. We want every guest to enjoy their stay, so if the house rules and expectations don’t sound like your cup of tea, we completely understand.

- We provide fresh linen for your stay, however, please make your own bed when you arrive and strip it before you leave, and place used linen and used towel in the basket in the laundry.

- If you would like beds made, subject to availability it could be provided for an extra fee of $35 per bed.

- We ask guests to kindly clean up afterwards including the kitchen and BBQ. We will have to pass on a cleaning fee of $50 if the BBQ is left dirty.

- We provide a wide range of supplies (e.g. cereal, tinned tomatoes, spices, olive oil and detergent). We kindly ask guests to take out your rubbish as you leave.

- To keep this experience sustainable for everyone, we kindly ask that you report on the condition/cleanness of the house when you arrive.
