- "Kelly was a great host. Very cute lodge style inn on the bay on the main strip of town. Beautifully decorated with lots of antiques and cool stuff throughout the house. Continental breakfast is left out for you on main floor in the kitchen. Bagels, muffins , pastries etc. there is a fridge on each floor that’s kinda family style. Take what you want, leave what you have extra of. One of the strange things was our private bath was across the hall of the game room/ lounge are so we had to be careful when streaking but it worked out fine. There are only about a half dozen rooms and people go out exploring most of the day so you pretty much have the whole place to yourself. Look forward to staying there again soon. Thanks again. "

Has some throwback looking items in it giving it a fun feel.... beds were very good, but the AC does blow on you which i personally dont like, but i did love how cold it was able to get the room as i sleep best in a cold room under warm covers. Rooms were VERY CLEAN which my wife and I loved... restaurants around the hotel were good food and we could take left overs all because our hotel had a fridge and a microwave. Very enjoyable stay.... Only issues were minor... bushes not trimmed so couldnt walk on all of the sidewalk because of that, and the road in front of the hotel is a bit rough. I would absolutely go there again and still give it a 4.7 / 5 if not a little higher...."

The AC was fairly loud and the fridge when it kicked on but a noise maker was in the room that cancelled out all the noise. The best part of the whole stay though was the private beach. It was hot and sunny our whole stay, so we spent almost the whole trip down on the beach. It was big enough to share with the other guests that are staying at the resort. So plenty of room for everyone. The water was so clear and clean that you can see the bottomof the lake. We loved our stay so much that we want to make it a family tradition to come down every summer and stay at this resort. Lots of cute restaurants down the street on the water if you want to go out for dinner and drinks too. We will definitely be back! "

- "GREAT lake view from the porch! Well furnished. Convenient. Gracious host." - "A friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our week in this Flathead Lake vrbo. We loved the rustic vibe and the basement apartment was exactly as described. The beds were super comfortable and the heater in the bathroom was a plus as mornings were quite cool. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed and the full sized refrigerator had more than enough room to hold a week's worth of provisions. Rockers and Adirondack chairs on the porch were perfect for sitting and watching glorious sunsets over the lake and there were two glider chairs the hosts graciously encouraged us to use for sunset viewing from a different angle. The large propane grill came in handy several times when we decided to eat in instead of going to town. Host Peggy was a joy to visit with and loaned us bear spray to carry for when we went hiking. She possesses a wealth of knowledge about the various places in Bigfork to shop and eat. In addition, she tends the landscaping and flowers around the property, which are beautiful and attract hummingbirds and butterflies. The week passed too quickly but was restful in this serene setting. We'd love to spend more time here."

Our home is in Woods Bay, a special place located on NW Montana's pristine Flathead Lake. The views from the dock are spectacular of both the lake and the surrounding mountains. Welcome to Cherry Pines. Cherry Pines is located 13 miles south of Bigfork, and just 18 miles North of Polson, Montana on Flathead Lake's east shore. We book week-long minimum stays from Memorial Day thru Labor Day and have a 4 night minimum in the shoulder season.
The Cabin sits on 15 acres with 450 feet of private shore. We have tried our best to outfit it with all the amenities of home. We reside on the property with our 2 children while maintaining the buildings, grounds, and orchard. We are there if needed, however respect our guests' privacy and keep a fair distance. Our home is not visible from the rental.
The Cabin has a covered porch, living room, dining room, and full kitchen. The primary bedroom has a king bed and adjoining bath. The second bedroom has a king bed and two twin beds. There is an additional full shared bath. Washer, dryer, grill, smart TV and wireless internet are provided.
The property's shoreline is ideal for wading in the water with children, swimming, and rock collecting. Beach chairs and umbrellas make this a relaxing spot for shade seekers and page turners as well. Our dock provides ample room for sunning or casting a fishing line. We also have a mooring ball for your boat or rental boat. In addition there are four stand up Paddleboards and a wood burning sauna at the water's edge.
In the evening enjoy stunning sunsets while playing horseshoes on the lawn, eating supper on the deck, relaxing in one of the hammocks or roasting marshmallows and sharing stories around the bonfire. Guests who stay with us in August can also enjoy eating fresh cherries from our orchard. Whether it is views of the water or views of the mountains, Cherry Pines offers them in every direction.

Beautiful Rustic Cabin with a bedroom on the main floor and loft bedroom upstairs with breath taking views. Enjoy the days on the beautiful lawn which borders two hundred feet of Flathead Lake. Our guest house offers all the comforts of home in a picturesque wooded setting. Located on 2 acres, this guest quarters away from the main house was designed for relaxation and escape. Approximately 200 feet from the river, open the windows and hear the sounds of the rapids. While the guest house, doesn't have a river view, you can still enjoy sitting by the water watching osprey, eagles and geese soar overhead. Our property has 185 feet of private river frontage to enjoy. Wildlife is abundant. You can fish from the bank for rainbow or cut throat trout or jump into a kayak, raft or tube and float down the river. The guest house is well-appointed with granite countertops, wood accents and homey decor. The kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils, pots, pans, bakeware and dishes necessary to make cooking and dining easy. - "Enjoyed my stay." - "The property owners have made their cabin an incredibly comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. One bed on main, and two in the loft. A nimble adult could definitely occupy a bed in the loft, too. Fully stocked with anything you might need, including games, utensils, coffee maker, BBQ, fire pit and firewood, and a crystal-clear stream just a few feet from the covered porch. We spent six days, making trips to Glacier NP (1.5 hrs), Whitefish (1.25), Polebridge (drove ATVs from Whitefish and back, four+ hrs), Hungry Horse Reservoir (1.25) and Kalispell (one hour). But, we also explored closer to the cabin, and fished the local rivers, found a stunning lake (Van Lake), and discovered (sadly) that several locally advertised lakes were walk in only, and we were not prepared to hike. (I bet they were beautiful). Our evenings were spent on the porch or by the creek making s'mores. So quiet, private and serene, that time just slipped away. We didn't get to bed until midnight every night. Would highly recommend!"

Ground coffee was available for use in the drip coffee maker, as well as some basic spices and oils that may be needed for meal prep should one choose to eat in by using the cooking utensils that are conveniently provided. The unit is close to the waterfront, which provides options for many lake activities. The facility is also within walking distance of downtown Bigfork. If staying here, take time to purchase tickets for the theatre productions at the Playhouse/theatre. They are EXCELLENT! This facility is also within an hour's drive of many other activities (zip lining, Glacier National Park, alpine coaster, horseback riding, hiking, etc.). Communication with the owners was easy. They reached out with our rental details within a few days of our visit and promptly responded to questions and/or concerns during our stay. The Moose Cabin has a "Great Room" design and is open to the second story enchanted bedroom with an ensuite and a private balcony to enjoy your morning coffee and evening beverage. The "Great Room" has a hide-a-bed couch for 2 addtional guests. The Moose porch faces a private backyard. You have access to a hiking trail only a few yards up from the cabin. Each cabin has 2 hiking sticks and bear spray for guests.
