Olympic View Cottage is shared property and the host lives on the property adjacent to the cottage. However, everything you are offered is completely separate from the host. You are the only guest in the cottage, with a private entrance, hot tub and deck.
All of this overlooks the spectacular Puget Sound views.

The hot tub is on your own private deck. Hosts (Dave or Eileen) will need to enter the cottage once a day for hot tub maintenance. If guests decide not to leave for the day then we can provide instructions on how to maintain the hot tub with the appropriate chemicals. Hot tubs need to be maintained daily for cleanliness and sanitization. This is what we do for the health and safety for all our guests. Because we do this the hot tub has always been in working condition for current and future guests.

Every other day we change towels out, replenish coffee, and take the garbage out.

When we check our guests in there is a lot of information to go over and a lot for the guest to remember so we have it all documented in our “Guest Book” located in the cottage. You will also find information and menus on local restaurants, wineries, bars, and grocery stores.

- "Staying at Three Tree Point felt like a life/marriage reset. The house is clean, is the perfect size for a couple and is so romantic and relaxing. The views are breathtaking and the neighborhood vibe is serene and calm. The hosts are wonderful and helpful. Loved all the yummy pastries and other food already stocked (eggs, OJ, milk, cereal, granola, fruit, etc). They provided a list of their favorite restaurants and we loved the 3 we tried. We also really appreciated the king-size bed, blackout shades, and air conditioning (though the weather was amazing and opening the windows for a fresh breeze was wonderful too). We enjoyed breakfast on the patio with the warm sun and cool breeze. We only had 2 small gripes and they definitely wouldn’t stop us from coming back (1) the pillows are very firm… we would have loved squishy options (2) the toilet is a SMALL round, older toilet. Very clean but hard to fit on. Overall, we highly recommend Three Tree Point and will definitely be back!"

The home is located right on the clean waters of Puget Sound in a quaint area of Burien named 'Three Tree Point'. The entire home is remodeled and decorated in a 'beachy' feel.

Three Tree Point is a unique, close-knit community, full of active energy. You will often see sea lions sunbathing or hear them barking, bald eagles flying overhead, and salmon jumping. Along with all of this wildlife, other water activity is going on such as sailing, paddle boarding, kayaking, kite surfing, beach combing, and even swimming. Truly a hidden gem in the Pacific Northwest!

A fully-equipped kitchen is bright and open, perfect for entertaining. The full bathroom is located on the main floor. A queen bed in the loft type bedroom has french doors onto a small deck furnished with chairs and a table perfect for your morning coffee and view of Mount Rainier. A small room with a single bed is just off of the upstairs bedroom which has additional room for a pack-n-play for a baby or small child if needed. The downstairs bedroom has a queen sized bed. The second bathroom is in the garage, perfect for showering after hanging out on the beach.

The house is on the opposite side of a narrow city road from the beach. On the beach side of the house is parking for two cars, and a great fenced in, private sitting and dining area, a gas fire pit, and ramp to the beach. Plenty of beach towels are provided for those sandy beach days. Paddle boards and kayaks are available. Inquire prior before your stay if interested!

Great location. Walking distance to bars, restaurants, theatres, bakeries, chocolate shop, wine shop, live music, museums, library and more. Comfy, private suite with separate entrance. - "Stayed for a long weekend to attend a graduation. This property is very convenient to the airport but you are not hearing planes at all. The town is quaint and there are several good places to eat steps from the rental. There was an Alien themed festival the Sat we were there which was an unexpected treat- we could hear the live music out our window (but had no problem falling asleep when we closed the window. We loved the comfy beds (memory foam mattresses)! I would definitely stay here again."

Some come to recover from medical procedures, some come for funerals of loved ones, some people come to work, others for birthdays, holidays, weddings, honeymoons, others just for some peace, quiet, and solitude watching the different varieties of birds and boats float by. Note: We do for an extra charge have the ability to sleep two (2) extra people. Please let us know ahead of time so we can put out extra linen and make up the sofa bed.
There is a hospital Four (4) minutes away if you have to be near one for health reasons. This house is very close to Airport Fifteen (15) Minutes sometimes less.
The location close to downtown Seattle Twenty (20) Minutes.
Ferries Twenty (20) Minutes away.
Parks twenty to thirty (20-30) minutes away depending on the park.
Plenty of grocery stores nearby.
This room is very big, very clean, and this Studio faces to the Sound... Amazing Puget Sound View. Very quiet.
NO SMOKING, not even on the property.
Guest access
All secure separate Studio: Living room, Bathroom, kitchen. Out your door is a yard facing the ocean, the bottom right side by the stairway is separate from the one bedroom unit on the far right side. Both Studio and One bedroom has its own separate Lawn furniture and barbeque in front of each.

We live above this studio have a tiny noise of us walking around or perhaps talking, this is said just in case you are super sensitive to any noise what so ever.
NOTE: In between the floors are insulated and we have talked to our guest to see if the noise is disturbing and everyone has said NO. But since we are a super host we want full disclosure just in case.
