This is my family’s deer camp and is a perfect hunters retreat. The Poplar logs that make up the cabin’s sturdy walls were all cut from the property. The construction of this cabin was a labor of love and provided comfort for my dad and I after my mother passed away the day we laid the first log in August 1999. The cabin kept us busy over the next four months and gave us the chance to help each other through a difficult time. We are excited to share our bounty with others looking to hunt, relax or enjoy what the area has to offer. We will not be offering hunting on the property but there is public land all around that is great for southern Illinois hunting. Also, there is NO SWIMMING ALLOWED IN THE LAKE ON THE PROPERTY!
***The lake is currently under repair. It will be finished early Fall 2024.

Quiet very secluded property. There's a newly built deck that surrounds the right side of cabin overlooking wooded property. There is a bed and a bathroom. Cabin does include A/C. There is no kitchen in the cabin. It is a perfect location to get away and enjoy the quiet outdoors . There are also many different wineries in the area to try. Beautiful, quiet, relaxing location. Guests can stay one night or as long as they choose.
